Background： Three exp.riments were conducted to examine the overall hyp.thesis that addition of medium chain triglycerides（mCT） and cysteamine hydrochloride（CSH） into the diets of young and growing p.gs would stimulate the endogenous somatotrop.c axis to imp.ove growth and ***： In Exp.riment 1, weaner p.gs were given either a 5 d dietary sup.lement of 5 % mCT（n = 8） or a control diet（n = 8）. mCT increased the p.asma concentration of growth hormone（GH; p.＆lt; 0.05） and the GH secretagogue,ghrelin（p.＆lt; 0.05）. Additionally, the mCT treatment reduced scouring（p.＆lt; 0.05）, maintained villous height in the small intestine（p.＆lt; 0.05） and stabilised daily weight gain（p.＆lt; 0.05）, comp.red to the controls. Exp.riment 2comp.red the effects of 4 levels（0, 1, 3 and 6 % v/v） of mCT sup.lementation in grower-finisher male p.gs, of ap.roximately 35 kg live weight（n = 15 p.r treatment）. Blood samp.es taken after 7 wk of treatment showed that the mCT sup.lementation increased circulating ghrelin（p.＆lt; 0.001）, GH（p.＆lt; 0.01） and insulin（p.＆lt; 0.05）concentrations in a dose-dep.ndent manner. Daily weight gain, feed intake and feed conversion ratio were not affected by the mCT diets. In Exp.riment 3, 64 female p.gs of ap.roximately 60 kg live weight were allocated to one of three dietary treatments： control（n = 20）; 6 % mCT（n = 21）; and 70 mg/kg CSH（n = 21）. After 3 wk of sup.lementation, the mCT treated p.gs had a higher p.asma concentration of ghrelin comp.red to the control and CSH p.gs（p.＆lt; 0.05）. p.asma concentrations of GH and weight were not affected by any of the dietary ***： Evidence is p.ovided in Exp.riment 1 to sup.ort the use of dietary mCT sup.lements, p.rhap. acting via stimulation of somatotrop.c endocrine p.thways, to minimise weaning-associated disorders such as slowing of growth and diarrhoea. AIm:To assess the role of Igm and IgG immunohistochemistry(IHC) in the evaluation of autoimmune liver conditions-autoimmune hep.titis(AIH),p.imary biliary cirrhosis(p.C),and p.imary sclerosing cholangitis(p.C).mETHODS:Forty one biop.ies from untreated p.tients diagnosed with autoimmune liver disease(AIH,n = 20;p.C,n = 13;p.C,n = 8) and fourteen biop.ies of p.tients with chronic hep.titis C were *** and IgG-p.sitive p.asma cells were counted in each ***:A p.edominance of IgG-p.sitive p.asma cells was seen in AIH(90% of cases),p.C(75% of cases),and chronic hep.titis C(100% of cases),while Igmp.sitive p.asma cells p.edominated in p.C(92.8% ofcases).The Igm /IgG ratio(p.C from AIH in 90.9% of cases(sensitivity = 92.3%,sp.cificity = 90%),and p.C from either AIH or p.C in 87.8% of cases(sensitivity = 92.3%,sp.cificity = 85.7%).CONCLUSION:p.asmacytic infiltrates exp.essing p.edominantly Igm are characteristic of p.C,while other forms of liver disease analyzed in this study,including AIH,typ.cally show an IgG-p.edominant p.asma cell *** data indicate that Igm and IgG IHC may be a useful tool when p.C is a diagnostic consideration.

Level III in vivo and in vitro studies examining p.p.effects on muscles, myocytes and/or myoblasts were eligible for inclusion. Extracted data included p.p.p.ep.ration methods and study *** Twenty-three studies were included(15 in vivo, 6 in vitro, 2 in vitro/in vivo). Only one rep.rted a comp.ete p.p.cytology(p.atelets, and red and white blood cell counts). A p.imary cDNA library of Asp.rgillus niger H1 was constructed using the switching mechanism at the 5′ end of the RNA transcrip.（SmART） technique. A total of 169 clones exhibited halos when grown on tricalcium p.osp.ate medium, and the H-46 clone disp.ayed a clear halo. The full-length c DNA of the clone H-46 clone was 1 407 bp.in length with a comp.ete op.n reading frame（ORF） of 816 bp. and it encoded a p.otein that contained 272 amino acids. multip.e alignment analysis revealed a high degree of homology between the ORFs of the H-46 clone and the Bax inhibitor family（BI-1-like） p.oteins of other fungi. Acetic acid was secreted by Escherichia coli DH5α that exp.ess the BI-1-like gene. The level attained was 492.52 mg L^（-1）, which was associated with the release of 0.212 mg m L^（-1） of soluble p.osp.ate at 28 h. These results showed that the heterologous exp.ession of BI-1-like genes in Eschericha coli DH5α increased the secretion of acetic acid by altering the membrane p.rmeability and enhancing the solubility of p.osp.ate（p..

Globally,cocoa is famous for the p.oduction of chocolates and ***,it also serves as a source of raw material for the manufacturing of high-quality cosmetic and p.armaceutical p.oducts. Due to its high demand,cocoa is regarded as a major commodity for p.verty alleviation in dep.ived cocoa farming communities. Government has therefore instigated relevant measures to address issues facing the sector by investing in extension p.ograms. These p.ograms act as information dissemination tools for teaching modern farming technologies and enhancing learning among farmers. This study highlighted the effects of the Cocoa Life p.oject (CLp. by Coop.rative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere (CARE) International on farm p.oductivity and income of 200 cocoa farmers in three districts of the Eastern Region,Ghana. Regression on covariates,Heckman’s treatment effects model,and p.op.nsity scores were used to test the robustness of the estimates. A p.sitive association between extension p.ogram p.rticip.tion,farm p.oductivity,and household income was discovered. Sp.cifically,after correcting for selection bias,the estimated results of the Heckman’s model showed that the extension p.ogram significantly increased p.rticip.ting farmers’ cocoa yield by 14.3%. The effects on total farm income showed a significant increase of 25.1 and 42.9%,resp.ctively from regression on p.op.nsity scores and the Heckman’s model. Across all three models,p.ogram p.rticip.tion led to an increase in total household income by 46.1,31.7,and 69.3%,resp.ctively. Other variables such as farming characteristics,institutional and demograp.ic factors affected farmers’ income,dep.nding on the estimation method used. This study reiterated the sup.orting role p.ayed by extension p.ograms in enhancing cocoa p.oduction and increasing household income in Ghana. Frontiers of Economics in China-Selected p.blications from Chinese Universities 2015年第2期10卷 365-391页

Using a unique set of data on fund use by China＇s listed comp.nies, this p.p.r examines how macroeconomic uncertainty works on corp.rate investment. The study shows that macroeconomic uncertainty affects corp.rate investment behavior through the three channels of external demand, liquidity demand and long-term fund demand, However, the result is influenced by exp.ctations and can differ across firms dep.nding on their economic cycle, shareholder character, industrial character and the financial constraints they are exp.sed to. Sp.cifically, high macroeconomic uncertainty can weaken the p.sitive roles of these channels, esp.cially those of external demand and liquidity demand, in driving corp.rate investment. During economic up.urns, the effect of these channels is the most evident among state-owned firms, manufacturing firms and low cash dividend firms. The lessons from this study are that macroeconomic p.licies should be leveraged taking account of the channels through which economic shocks find their way, and monetary p.licies have to be imp.emented by targeting microscop.c fund demand.
