Hydrogen evolution from water electrolysis has become an important reaction for the green energy *** precious metals and their compounds are excellent catalysts for producing hydrogen;however,their high cost limits their large-scale practical ***,the development of affordable electrocatalysts to replace these precious metals is *** metal phosphides(TMPs)have shown remarkable performance for hydrogen evolution and garnered considerable interest in the field of *** on the detailed introduction of TMPs in previous studies,we have systematically summarized the preparation methods,improvement methods,and development opportunities of TMPs and proposed“stimulatory factors”as a fundamental factor affecting the performance of TMPs *** the core of this research,“stimulatory factors”can provide numerous solutions to improve the performance of TMP materials and provide a good starting point for TMP research.

Electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)holds great promise in green energy conversion and ***,for current CO_(2) electrolyzers that rely on the oxygen evolution reaction,a large portion of the input energy is"wasted"at the anode due to the high overpotential requirement and the recovery of low-value *** make efficient use of the electricity during electrolysis,coupling CO_(2)RR with anodic alternatives that have low energy demands and/or profitable returns with high-value products is then ***,we review the latest advances in paired systems for simultaneous CO_(2) reduction and anode *** start with the cases integrating CO_(2)RR with concurrent alternative oxidation,such as inorganic oxidation using chloride,sulfide,ammonia and urea,and organic oxidation using alcohols,aldehydes and primary *** paired systems that couple CO_(2)RR with on-site oxidative upgrading of CO_(2)-reduced chemicals are also *** coupling mechanism,electrochemical performance and economic viability of these co-electrolysis systems are ***,we then point out the mismatch issues between the cathodic and anodic reactions regrading catalyst ability,electrolyte solution and reactant supply that will challenge the applications of these paired electrolysis *** to address these issues are further proposed,providing some guidance for future research.

Perovskite-based tandem solar cells have attracted increasing interest because of its great potential to surpass the Shockley-Queisser limit set for single-junction solar *** the tandem architectures,the wide-bandgap(WBG)perovskites act as the front absorber to offer higher open-circuit voltage(VOC)for reduced thermalization *** advantage of tunable bandgap of the perovskite materials,the WBG perovskites can be easily obtained by substituting halide iodine with bromine,and substituting organic ions FA and MA with *** date,the most concerned issues for the WBG perovskite solar cells(PSCs)are huge VOC deficit and severe photo-induced phase *** VOC loss and improving photostability of the WBG PSCs are crucial for further efficiency ***,scientists have made great efforts to overcome these key issues with tremendous *** this review,we first summarize the recent progress of WBG perovskites from the aspects of compositions,additives,charge transport layers,interfaces and preparation *** key factors affecting efficiency and stability are then carefully discussed,which would provide decent guidance to develop highly efficient and stable WBG PSCs for tandem application.

Effects of Added Mass on Muscle Activity and Joint Movement During Walking

Added mass provided irregular interference towards human movement and shifted the force generated by lower limb ***,the association between mass and muscle activities is not well *** study aims at investigating the influence of added mass on lower *** our study,five young,healthy walkers performed walking trials under three load conditions(unload;C1:0.25 pounds on feet,1 pound on calves,and 2 pounds on thighs;C2:1 pound on feet,2 pounds on calves,and 4 pounds on thighs).During walking,three-dimensional kinematics,sEMG signals,and oxygen consumption were collected which allowed us to understand the effects of added mass on *** also generated OpenSim simulation,designed to comprehend the relationship between added mass and *** the increase of added mass,maximum sEMG signal and peak joint torque increased;whereas,the horizontal stride time reduced(unload:1.697±0.02 s,C1:1.651±0.02 s,C2:1.622±0.02 s).Energy expenditure raised correspondingly(C1:6.53%,C2:24.85%).Moreover,joint moment increased,while same change occurred in muscle ***,our results show that participants responded positively to additional mass by adjusting muscle activities,joint movement,and stride frequency,which demonstrates the relationship between energy consumption and added mass.

The perovskite solar cell(PSC)has been recognized as a promising candidate for the next generation of photovoltaics due to its excellent power conversion efficiency(PCE),potential low cost and straightforward solution preparation *** efforts around the world,the PCE of PSCs has reached 25.7%.As the perovskite film is the most important part of a PSC,its quality dramatically affects the efficiency and stability of the *** works have focused on controlling crystallization to realize oriented growth of perovskite ***,considering the photoelectric anisotropy of perovskite materials,it is very meaningful to investigate the relationship between preferred crystal orientation and device efficiency and *** review highlights various approaches for realizing preferred crystal orientation of polycrystalline perovskite films,including optimizing the perovskite precursor solution and film annealing process,additive engineering,and interface ***,the key factors affecting oriented crystal growth are carefully discussed,which provides effective guidance to obtain highly-oriented perovskite films for highly efficient and stable PSCs.

A recent study published in Science1 by Tsukamoto and colleagues shows that a derivative of tubercidin,a natural product from Streptomyces,selectively inhibits influenza A and B viruses(IAV and IBV,respectively).The compound targets the host RNA methyltransferase MTr1,and thus prevents viral“cap snatching”(Fig.1).These results may help to develop novel drugs that target viral host dependency factors and are thus less likely to induce viral resistance.
