I consider in this article Heidegger＇s late characterization of phenomenology as a ＂phenomenology of the inapparent.＂ Phenomenology is traditionally considered to be a thought of presence, assigned to a phenomenon that is identified with the present being, or with an object for consciousness. The phenomenon would be synonymous with presence itself, with what manifests itself in a presence. However, I will suggest in the following pages that phenomenology is haunted by the presence of a certain unappearing dimension, a claim that was made by Heidegger in his last seminar in 1973, when he characterized the most proper sense of phenomenology as a ＂phenomenology of the inapparent.＂ I attempt to show in what sense for Heidegger the ＂inapparent＂ plays in phenomenality and in phenomenology, and to then consider （drawing from Levinas and Derrida） its ethical import.

95 g/kin is the allowed quantity of CO2 emission normalized to NEDC to be set in 2020. In addition, NEDC will be replaced by more severe driving cycles and will be united worldwide. To respond to those criteria, automotive industries are working on every possible field. Thermal management has been proved to be effective in reducing fuel consumption. Cold start is a primordial reason of ovcrconsumption, as the engine highest efficiency is at its optimal temperature. At cold start, the engine＇s oil is at its lowest temperature and thus its higher viscosity level. A high viscosity oil generates more friction, which is one of the most important heat losses in the engine. In th/s paper, hot oil storage is studied. Numerical simulations on GT-suite model were done. The model consists of a 4-cylinder turbocharged Diesel engine using a storage volume of 1 liter of hot oil. Ambient temperature vari- ation were taken into consideration as well as different driving cycles. Furthermore, different configurations of the thermal strategy （multifunction oil sump） were proposed and evaluated. Lubricant temperature and viscosity profiles are presented in the article as well as fuel consumption savings for different configurations, driving cycles and ambient temperatures.

We consider the Hamiltonian ofα,β-Fermi Pasta Ulam lattice and explore the Hamilton-Jacobi formalism to obtain the discrete equation of *** using the continuum limit approximations and incorporating some normalized parameters,the extended Korteweg-de Vries equation is obtained,with solutions that elucidate on the Fermi Pasta Ulam *** further derive the nonlinear Schrodinger amplitude equation from the extended Korteweg-de Vries equation,by exploring the reductive perturbative *** dispersion and nonlinear coefficients of this amplitude equation are functions of theαandβparameters,with theβparameter playing a crucial role in the modulational instability analysis of the ***βgreater than or equal to zero,no modulational instability is observed and only dark solitons are identified in the *** forβless than zero,bright solitons are traced in the lattice for some large values of the *** of numerical simulations of both the Korteweg-de Vries and nonlinear Schr¨odinger amplitude equations with periodic boundary conditions clearly show that the bright solitons conserve their amplitude and shape after collisions.

We systematically study the evolution of modulated nerve impulses in a myelinated nerve fiber, where both the ionic current and membrane capacitance provide the necessary nonlinear feedbacks. This is achieved by using a perturbation technique, in which the Liénard form of the modified discrete Fitzhugh–Nagumo equation is reduced to the complex Ginzburg–Landau amplitude equation. Three distinct values of the capacitive feedback parameter are considered. At the critical value of the capacitive feedback parameter, it is shown that the dynamics of the system is governed by the dissipative nonlinear Schr?dinger equation. Linear stability analysis of the system depicts the instability of plane waves,which is manifested as burst of modulated nerve impulses that fulfills the Benjamin–Feir criteria. Variations of the capacitive feedback parameter generally influences the plane wave stability and hence the type of wave profile identified in the neural network. Results of numerical simulations mainly confirm the propagation, collision, and annihilation of nerve impulses in the myelinated axon.

The polynomial chaos expansion(PCE)is an efficient numerical method for performing a reliability *** relates the output of a nonlinear system with the uncertainty in its input parameters using a multidimensional polynomial approximation(the so-called PCE).Numerically,such an approximation can be obtained by using a regression method with a suitable design of *** cost of this approximation depends on the size of the design of *** the design of experiments is large and the system is modeled with a computationally expensive FEA(Finite Element Analysis)model,the PCE approximation becomes *** aim of this work is to propose an algorithm that generates efficiently a design of experiments of a size defined by the user,in order to make the PCE approximation computationally *** is an optimization algorithm that seeks to find the best design of experiments in the D-optimal sense for the *** algorithm is a coupling between genetic algorithms and the Fedorov exchange *** efficiency of our approach in terms of accuracy and computational time reduction is compared with other existing methods in the case of analytical functions and finite element based functions.
