Owing to their inexpensive and environmentally friendly properties,iron-based catalysts have been actively investigated for new organic *** this account,we summarized our recent results on iron-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions and homo-coupling *** iron-based catalysts,we constructed diverse carbon-carbon bonds,i.e.,c(sp^2)-c(sp^3),c(sp^3)-c(sp^3),c(sp^3)-c(sp^2)and c(sp^2)-c(sp^2)*** order to demonstrate the usefulness of our iron protocol,we also carried out these reactions on gram-scale reactions,leading to good yields.

In this paper, we consider the generalized variational inequality GVI（F, g, c）, where F and g are mappings from a Hilbert space into itself and c is the fixed point set of a nonexpansive mapping. We propose two iterative algorithms to find approximate solutions of the GVI（F,g, c）. Strong convergence results are established and applications to constrained generalized pseudo-inverse are included.

In real world situations, most scheduling problems occur neither as complete off-line nor as complete on-line models. Most likely, a problem arises as an on-line model with some partial information. In this article, we consider such a model. We study the scheduling problem P(n1,n2), where two groups of jobs are to be scheduled. The first job group is available beforehand. As soon as all jobs in the first group are assigned, the second job group appears. The objective is to minimize the longest job completion time (makespan). We show a lower bound of 3/2 even for very special cases. Best possible algorithms are presented for a number of cases. Furthermore, a heuristic is proposed for the general case. The main contribution of this paper is to discuss the impact of the quantity of available information in designing an on-line algorithm. It is interesting to note that the absence of even a little bit information may significantly affect the performance of an algorithm.

calix[n]arenes was utilized to detect PABA,the primary sunscreen *** study investigates the interaction of calix[4]arene(c4),calix[6]arene(c6),and PABA using the Langmuir method and first-principle density functional theory(DFT).Using the Langmuir-Schaefer(LS)technique,an ultrathin film composed of calix[n]arenes and their complexes with PABA was deposited on various *** on the Langmuir study,the PABA molecule was bonded to the lower rims of both c4 and c6 with the host-guest ratio of 1:*** of the LS films formed were then characterized by ultravioletvisible spectroscopy(UV-Vis),Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and carbon,hydrogen,nitrogen,sulfur elemental analyzer(cHnS).The band gap reduction obtained in the DFT study denotes the charge transfer interaction with promising reactivity between the calix[n]arenes and *** sensing of PABA by c4 and c6 is successful based on the formation of bonding between them due to the hosts’effective trapping *** outcomes of this study could be applied to drug delivery systems for future pharmaceutical and medical applications.

nitric oxide （nO） is one of the most important air pollutants in atmosphere mainly emitted from combustion source. A biotriclding filter was designed and operated to remove nO from an air stream using bacteria extracted from the sewage sludge of a municipal sewage treatment plant. To obtain the best operation conditions for the biotrickling filter, orthogonal experiments （L9（34）） were designed. Inlet oxygen concentration was found to be the most significant factor of the biotrickling filter and has a significant negative effect on the system. The optimal conditions of the biotrickling filter occurred at a temperature of 40℃, a pH of 8.0 and a chemical oxygen demand of 165 mg/L in the recycled water with no oxygen in the system. The bacteria sample was detected by DnA sequencing technology and showed 93%-98% similarity to Pseudomonas mendocina. Moreover, a full gene sequencing results indicated the bacterium was a brand new strain and named as P. mendocina DLHK. This strain can transfer nitrate to organic nitrogen. The result suggested the assimilation nitrogen process in this system. Through the isotope experimental analysis, two intermediate products （^15nO and ^15n2O） were found. The results indicated the denitrification function and capability of the biotrickling filter in removing nO.
