This paper analyses the importance of several aspects that consumers in the Comunidad Valenciana （Spain） take into account when getting a wine bottle from a shelf. These aspects are： the designation of origin, the price, design and information on the label, design and information on the back label, the point of sale, the seller advice, friends and family recommendations. The information has been obtained through survey with 400 interviews throughout Comunidad Valenciana （Spain）. These interviews were based on asking a questionnaire with closed questions. It has been seen how the most valuated aspect is the designation of origin. The second aspect in the rank is friends and family Recommendations. Price is the third most valuated aspect. The less valuated aspects are the seller advice and the point of sale. The design and information of the label is more valuated than the design and information of the back label. Results seem to show how consumers want to reduce risk before buying a wine bottle looking for aspect that they can rely on. They give more importance to family and friends recommendations than to the seller advice.

Geopolymers Using Rice Husk Silica and Metakaolin derivatives;Preparation and Their Characteristics

The effect of the amorphous silica derived from biomass rice husk (RH) in the alkaline activating solution on the properties was investigated in geopolymerization process, when metakaolin was used as the aluminum source from metakaolin (MK). With changing a molar ratio of SiO2/Al2O3 = 3.0 and 10, the curing in the preparation of geopolymers was carried out at 85°C, 100°C and 200°C. Viscoelastic properties of the geopolymer pastes including SiO2 and Al2O3 components suggested that the alkaline activation was found in higher RH silica source. The mineralogical and microstructural characteristics of the cured products were evaluated to be amorphous aluminosilicate.

dear Editor,One of the most serious issues in modern oncology is the ineffectiveness of treatments in destroying tumours,which leads to tumour recurrence and,ultimately,patient *** phenomenon is caused by conventional therapies’fractional killing of tumour cells,which can also cause resistant cells to spread.1 We analysed chemotherapy-resistant cells and discovered that they are smaller than untreated cells(Fig.1a).The fact that this phenomenon occurs in all tested cell types(Hela,A549,Huh7,and MCF7)and regardless of the chemotherapy regimen(TRAIL,Camptothecin,doxorubicin)suggests that it is a widespread phenomenon(Fig.1a,Supplementary Fig.S1).

drug-induced liver inj.ry(dILI) has become a maj.r topic in the field of Hepatology and Gastroenterology. dILI can be clinically divided into three phenotypes: hepatocytic, cholestatic and mixed. Although the clinical manifestations of dILI are variable and the pathogenesis complicated, recent insights using improved preclinical models, have allowed a better understanding of the mechanisms that trigger liver damage. In this review, we will discuss the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying dILI. The toxicity of the drug eventually induces hepatocellular damage through multiple molecular pathways, including direct hepatic toxicity and innate and adaptive immune responses. drugs or their metabolites, such as the common analgesic, acetaminophen, can cause direct hepatic toxicity through accumulation of reactive oxygen species and mitochondrial dysfunction. The innate and adaptive immune responses play also a very important role in the occurrence of idiosyncratic dILI. Furthermore, we examine common forms of hepatocyte death and their association with the activation of specific signaling pathways.

Background:Postural control has been associated with the functional impairment in persons with multiple sclerosis(pwMS).However,there is a need for reliable methods to assess postural control in early stages of the disease,when subtle changes can be difficult to *** aims of this study were to assess the absolute and relative reliability of a standing and a sitting posturographic protocol in minimally(Expanded disability Status Scale≤2)and moderately(2.5≤Expanded disability Status Scale≤4)impaired pwMS,and to analyze relationships among postural control and functional mobility and gait ***:To assess postural control in an upright stance,14 minimally and 16 moderately impaired pwMS performed six 70 s trials in tandem stance,3 with their weaker leg behind(TSWL)and 3 with their stronger leg behind(TSSL).Additionally,participants completed five 70 s trials using an unstable sitting protocol(US)to assess trunk *** mean radial errors of TSWL,TSSL,and US trials were calculated as postural control ***,participants performed the Timed Up and Go test(TUG)and the Timed 25-foot Walk test(T25FW)to measure their functional mobility and gait speed,*** was evaluated using the intraclass correlation coefficient(ICC3,1)and the standard error of measurement(SEM).Analyses of variances were carried out to assess between-group ***’g index(dg)was used to estimate the effect size of *** correlation analyses(r)were performed to examine the relationships among the postural control and the functional ***:Posturographic tests showed a high reliability in both minimally(0.87≤ICC≤0.92;9.32%≤SEM≤11.76%)and moderately(0.80≤ICC≤0.92;10.33%≤SEM≤15.33%)impaired ***,T25FW and TUG displayed a high consistency in minimally(0.89≤ICC≤0.94;3.43%≤SEM≤5.17%)and moderately(0.85≤ICC≤0.93;5.57%≤SEM≤6.56%)impaired *** impaired pwMS showed a better performance on the TUG,T25FW

Purpose:The purpose of this study was to examine the reliability and the learning effect of an isokinetic trunk flexion-extension protocol designed to simultaneously assess trunk muscle strength and *** addition,the effect of the participants’sex on the reliability data was ***:Fifty-seven healthy and physically active young men(n=28)and women(n=29)performed the isokinetic protocol 5 times,separated by a week between each of the first 4 sessions and by a month between the last 2 *** protocol consisted of performing 4 trials of 15 maximum flexion-extension concentric exertions at 120°/s(range of trunk motion=50°).The absolute and relative peak torque and total work were calculated to assess trunk flexion and extension *** addition,endurance ratio,modified endurance ratio,fatigue final ratio,recovery ratio,and modified recovery ratio variables were used for the assessment of trunk muscle endurance in both ***:Regarding the absolute reliability,no relevant changes were found between paired-comparison sessions for most strength and endurance variables,except for total work and relative total work variables in the flexion movement in both *** addition,the typical error of the isokinetic variables was lower than 10%in both males and females,and minimum detectable changes ranged from 7%to 20%,with a tendency to be higher in females and in endurance *** strength variables showed high-to-excellent intraclass correlation coefficients(ICCs;>0.74);however,for the endurance variables only the endurance ratio and the modified endurance ratio obtained moderate-to-high ICC values(0.57ddition,the analysis of the variance reported no significant differences between consecutive pairs of sessions for most variables in both ***:Overall,these findings provide clinicians,trainers,and researchers with a 10-min single-session protocol to perform a reliable muscle strength and endurance evaluatio

We will discuss here the tension between the reality of new media and narratological theory, and the case in point will be cinema. Our thesis is that new media have to do with illusion, basically with illusion, and only derivatively with imagination; on the contrary, the field of literature has to do with imagination, strictly with imagination, not with illusion at all. If it is so, something must be wrong with the pretence of narratology, which has literature as its basic referent, to be the adequate theoretical frame in order to understand every cultural phenomenon, especially in the case of new media. We have to insist on the distinction between illusion and imagination. In fact, most literary theorists do not bear in mind such distinction; it tends to completely disappear under the general title ＂fiction.＂ To be sure, it is usually said of cinema that it is fiction, like literature, but cinema is much more than fiction, it is illusion, even if it is the illusion of a story.
