We present a unified approach to the study of Radon transforms related to the group Sn and its q-analogue GLn（q）. In both cases, in a uniform way, we define a sequence of generMized Radon transforms that are intertwining operators for natural representa- tions associated to Gel＇land spaces for our groups. This sequence and the sequence of their adjoint enable us to decompose in a recursive way these natural representations into irreducibles and to compute explicitly the associated spherical functions. Our methods and results rely then strongly on q-analogy.

Despite increased international efforts to control schistosomiasis using preventive chemotherapy,several challenges still exist in reaching the target *** recently,preschool-aged children had been excluded from the recommended target population for mass drug administration,*** school children aged 6-15 *** studies and those of others provided the evidence base for the need to treat preschool-aged children that led to recommendations by the World Health Organization to include preschool-aged children in treatment programmes in *** major challenge now lies in the unavailability of a child-size formulation of the appropriate anthelmintic drug,*** currently available formulation of praziquantel presents several ***,it is a large tablet,making it difficult for young children and infants to swallow it and thus requires its breaking/crushing to allow for safe ***,it is bitter so it is often mixed with a sweetener to make it palatable for young ***,the current formulation of 600 mg does not allow for flexible dose adjustments for this age ***,there is a need to formulate a child-appropriate praziquantel *** paper discusses the target product profile for paediatric praziquantel,as well as knowledge gaps pertinent to the successful control of schistosome infection and disease in preschool-aged children.

Proteins might misfold during translation and folding or even once they are in their native states, due to stochastic fluctuations, destabilizing mutations or cellular stress. Aberrant protein species are usually detected and either refolded or cleared by the protein quality control machinery (Ciechanover and Kwon, 2015). When misfolded protein conformers cannot be degraded, they tend to self-assemble to form aggregates, a characteristic of many neurodegenerative diseases.

The objective of this research is to evaluate an impact of asphalt mixture beams with varying sizes of aggregate in the Bending Beam Rheometer （BBR） for testing/predicting thermal cracking properties of asphalt pavements. The BBR test has following benefits： the equipment is cheaper, it uses smaller specimens, faster conditioning, easier availability for quality control, easier to manage, etc. However some concerns have been raised： some consider that the size of the aggregate may affect the test＇s results; the other concern is that such small beams cannot represent the whole properties of the asphalt pavement. To address these criticisms, imaging techniques, statistical analysis, and viscoelastic modeling are used. Asphalt thin beams prepared with three different nominal maximum aggregate size （NMAS）（12.5mm, 9.5 mm, and 4.75 mm） were tested at three different temperatures （-18℃, -24℃, and -30℃）. Based on results from statistical analyses and viscoelasticity, the ratio of asphalt binders and voids and stiffness differences among the three NMAS specimens are not significant, meaning that the impact of asphalt thin beams prepared with the three NMAS on the prediction of thermal cracking is minimal and can be neglected.

This study explores the possibility of opening a policy window for the adoption of the FAIR Guidelines—that data be Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable(FAIR)—in Uganda’s e Health sector. Although the FAIR Guidelines were not mentioned in any of the policy documents relevant to Uganda’s e Health sector, the study found that 83% of the documents mentioned FAIR Equivalent efforts, such as the adoption of the National Identification Number(NIN) as a unique identifier in Uganda’s national Electronic Health Management Information System(e HMIS)(findability), the planned/ongoing integration of various information systems(interoperability), and the alignment of various projects with international best practices/standards(reusability). A FAIR Equivalency Score(FE-Score), devised in this study as an aggregate score of the mention of the equivalent of FAIR facets in the policy documents, showed that the documents at the core of Uganda’s digital health/e Health policy have the highest score of all the documents analysed, indicating that there is a degree of alignment between Uganda’s National e Health Vision and the FAIR Guidelines. Therefore, it can be concluded that favourable conditions exist for the adoption and implementation of the FAIR Guidelines in Uganda’s e Health sector. Hence, it is recommended that the FAIR community adopt a capacity building strategy through organisations with a worldwide mandate, such as the World Health Organization, to promote the adoption of the FAIR Guidelines as part of international best practices.

Vertical electrical sounding（VES） was carried out in northern part of Paiko, North Central Nigeria, using Abem terrameter model SAS 4000 to determine the subsurface layer parameters（resistivities, depths and thickness） employed in delineating the groundwater potential of the area. A total of six transverses with ten VES stations along each traverse, at intervals of 50 m were investigated. It has a maximum current electrode separation（AB/2） of 100 m. Three to four distinct geoelectric layers were observed, namely, the top layer, the weathered layer, the fractured/fresh layer, and the fresh basement layer. The observed frequencies in curve types include 21% of H, 4.2% of HA, 2.4% of K, 4.2% of A, 1.67% of KH and 3% of HK. Eight VES stations were delineated as ground water potentials of the area, with third and fourth layer resistivities ranging from 191 to 398 ？·m. Depths range from 13.60 to 36.60 m and thickness varies from 9.23 to 30.51 m. A correlation of the borehole log with the VES lithology is in agreement. Viable boreholes for good portable water should be sited at VES stations J8 and J10 having a fine aquifer at a depth of 36.60 and 17.80 m respectively with thickness of 30.51 and 15.07 m, respectively.

Utilization of autoclaved and fermented sesame(Sesamum indicum L.) seed meal in diets for Til-aqua natural male tilapia

Current research emphasis has been on the reduction of feed cost by incorporating processed sesame seed meal in the diet of tilapia. Raw sesame(Sesamum indicum) seed was soaked and subjected to either autoclaving or fermentation, after which their oil contents were mechanically extracted. Graded levels of autoclaved(71.2,165,5 and 296.3 g/kg designated as diets 1, 2 and 3, respectively) and fermented(71.0,164.3 and 292,2 g/kg designated as diets 4, 5 and 6, respectively) sesame seed meal were included into fishmeal based diets for Til-aqua natural male tilapia(NMT) fry(initial weight,1.69 ± 0.02 g), A diet without sesame seed meal served as the control. Diets were approximately iso-nitrogenous(35% crude protein). Fish were fed 5 times their maintenance requirement, which was 3.2 x 5 x [fish weight(g)/1,000]^(0.8) daily for 56 days. Processing improved the nutritional profile of raw sesame seed meal in terms of its crude protein and antinutrient compositions. Growth performance of fish was similar(P> 0.05) in the control and dietary treatments. The group fed diet 3 exhibited significantly poorer feed conversion ratio(1.14), protein efficiency ratio(2.77) and economic conversion ratio(US$1.38/kg) relative to the group that received diet 5. Apparent digestibility coefficients for protein, lipid and energy in diet 3 were similar(P > 0.05) to those in diet 6 but significantly lower(P < 0.05) than those of the control and other dietary groups. The sesame seed meals processed with different methods did not significantly affect crude protein, crude lipid and gross energy compositions in the fish carcass. The study demonstrated that71.2 g/kg of autoclaved and 164.3 g/kg of fermented sesame seed meal could be incorporated in the diet of Til-aqua NMT with cost benefit.
