Introduction: Also known as maternal burnout syndrome, maternal burnout is a state of physical, emotional and mental exhaustion generated by prolonged stress in the family environment. It is experienced by women in their role as mothers. Those affected can develop psychological disorders, sleep disturbances, etc., all of which impair their day-to-day lives, and thus their maternal role. The repercussions affect both the child and other family members. Objective: The aim of the present study was to investigate maternal burnout among female users of public and private health facilities in the commune of Parakou in 2023. methods: Descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted from December 2022 to July 2023 among all mothers using public and private health facilities in the commune of Parakou. All healthy mothers with at least one biological or adoptive child fully dependent on them and living at home, who came for a consultation in one of the health facilities or for an appointment at the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) and gave their free and informed consent. Sampling was done for non-exhaustive convenience were included in the study. Burnout was assessed using the Parental Burnout Assessment (PBA) scale. Results: A total of 888 mothers meeting the inclusion criteria were surveyed. The prevalence of burnout calculated using the Parental Burnout Assessment (PBA) scale was 6.19%. The risk factors for maternal burnout were poor relationships with family and friends (OR = 8.90;p = 0.045), moderate (OR = 11.71;p = 0.020) and severe depression (OR = 40.85;p = 0.001), followed by the presence of repeated nocturnal awakening (OR = 5.14;p = 0.014). conclusion: This is a subject that is almost never discussed in African society, but whose reality is revealed by the present study, which provided statistical data on maternal burnout. Utility of endoscopic ultrasound, cytology and fluid carcinoembryonic antigen and cA 19-9 levels in pancreatic cystic lesions

AIm: To assess the diagnostic accuracy of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), fluid tumor markers and cytology in distinguishing benign from (pre)malignant pancreatic cystic lesions. mETHODS: 46 consecutive patients, referred to a gastroenterologist and surgeon for a symptomatic or incidental pancreatic cyst, were reviewed. EUS, cytology, and carcinoembryonic antigen (cEA) and carbohydrate antigen (cA 19-9) levels were compared with the final diagnosis, based on surgical pathology and/or imaging follow-up of at least 12 mo. cysts were classified as benign (pseudocyst, serous cystadenoma) or malignant/ pre-malignant (mucinous cystic neoplasm). Receiver- operator characteristics (ROc) curve analysis was performed. RESULTS: The mean age was 56 years; 29% were male and median cyst diameter was 3 cm. Final outcome was obtained in 41 (89%) patients. Twenty-three (56%) of these 41 had surgical pathology. Twenty-three (56%) had benign lesions and 18 (44%) had malignant/pre- malignant lesions. Sensitivity, specificity and positive and negative predictive value of EUS alone to distinguish benign from malignant/premalignant pancreatic cystic lesions were 50%, 56%, 36% and 54% and for cytology were 71%, 96%, 92% and 85%, respectively. The corresponding values for the ROc-derived ideal cutoffswere 75%, 90%, 75%, 90% for cA 19-9 (> 37 U/mL) and 70%, 85%, 79% and 78% for cEA (> 3.1 ng/mL). Subgroup analysis of those with surgical pathology yielded almost identical performance and cutoffs. cONcLUSION: cytology and cyst fluid tumor marker analysis is a very useful tool in distinguishing benign from (pre)malignant pancreatic cystic lesions.

Topological Studies of Three-dimensional Flows in a High Pressure compressor Stator Blade Row without and with Boundary Layer Aspiration

This paper presents a numerical study of the flow topologies of three-dimensional （3D） flows in a high pressure compressor stator blade row without and with boundary layer aspiration on the hub wall. The stator blade is representative of the first stage operating under transonic inlet conditions and the blade design encourages development of highly complex 3D flows. The blade has a small tip clearance. The computational fluid dynamics （cFD） studies show progressive increase of hub corner stall with the increase in incidence. Aspiration is implemented on the hub wall via a slot in the comer between the hub wall and the suction surface. The cFD studies show aspiration to be sensitive to the suction flow rate; lower rate leads to very complex flow struc- tures and increased level of losses whereas higher rate renders aspiration effective for control of hub comer separation. The flow topologies are studied by trace of skin friction lines on the walls. The nature of flow can be explained by the topological rules of closed separation. Furthermore, a deeper analysis is done for a particular case with advanced criterion to test the non-degeneracy of critical points in the flow field.

The universality of the weak interactions can be tested in semileptonic b→c transitions,and in particular in the ratios R（D＊） ≡ Γ（B → D（＊）τν）/Γ（B → D＊lν）（where 1 = μ or e）.Due to the recent differences between the experimental measurements of these observables by Ba Bar,Belle and LHcb on the one hand and the Standard model predicted values on the other hand,we study the predicted ratios R（D＊）=Γ（B→D＊τ＋＂missing＂）/Γ（B→D（＊）lν）in scenarios with an additional sterile heavy neutrino of mass ～1 Ge ***,we evaluate the newly defined ratio R（0）≡Γ（B→τ＋＂missing＂）/Γ（B→μν） in such scenarios,in view of the future possibilities of measuring the quantity at Belle-Ⅱ.

Greenhouse gas emissions during co-composting of cattle feedlot manure with construction and demolition （c＆D） waste

manure management strategies should reflect current animal feeding practices and encourage recycling of organic waste to help protect our environment. This research investigated greenhouse gas （GHG） emissions during cattle manure stockpiling or composting with and without construction and demolition （c＆D） waste. manure was collected from cattle fed a typical finishing diet （cK manure） and from cattle on diets which included 30% dried distillers grains with solubles （DG manure）. The cK and DG manures were co-composted with （4：1） c＆D waste （treatments： cK cD, DG cD）, composted alone （treatments： cK and DG） in 13 m3 bins or stockpiled without c＆D ~vaste （treatments： cK ST and DGST） for 99 days. manure type （cK vs. DG manure） had no effect on GHG emissions-over the 99 day manure composting or stockpiling. composting with c＆D waste 2 produced similar cO2 emissions, about double that from manure stockpthng （7.9 kgc.m^-2）. In contrast, cH4 emissions were reduced by the inclusion of c＆D waste （64 gc.m^-1 with c＆D vs. 244 gc.m 2 without c＆D） while the manure stockpile emitted the greatest amount of cH4 （464 gc. m 2）. Additionally, only 0.48% of c was emitted in cH4 form with c＆D waste, compared to 1.68% when composting without c＆D waste and 7.00% when cattle manure was stockpiled. The N2O emissions （12.4 to 18.0 gN.m ） were similar across all treatments. The lower cH4 emissions with c＆D waste are beneficial in reducing overall GHG emissions from manure composting, while reducing the amount of material entering landfills.

Word Sense Disambiguation in Information Retrieval

The natural language processing has a set of phases that evolves from lexical text analysis to the pragmatic one in which the author’s intentions are shown. The ambiguity problem appears in all of these tasks. Previous works tries to do word sense disambiguation, the process of assign a sense to a word inside a specific context, creating algorithms under a supervised or unsupervised approach, which means that those algorithms use or not an external lexical resource. This paper presents an approximated approach that combines not supervised algorithms by the use of a classifiers set, the result will be a learning algorithm based on unsupervised methods for word sense disambiguation process. It begins with an introduction to word sense disambiguation concepts and then analyzes some unsupervised algorithms in order to extract the best of them, and combines them under a supervised approach making use of some classifiers.

First attempt to use a remotely operated vehicle to observe soniferous fish behavior in the Gulf of maine,Western Atlantic Ocean

Underwater sound and video observations were made at noon, sunset, and midnight in sand, gravel, and boulder habitat in the Stellwagen Bank National marine Sanctuary, Gulf of maine, USA in October 2001 using a remotely operated vehicle （ROV）. Seventeen species of fish and squid were observed with clear habitat and time differences. Observations of feeding behavior, disturbance behavior, and both interspecific and intraspecific interactions provided numerous opportunities for potential sound production; however, sounds were recorded only during a single dive. Although high noise levels generated by the ROV and support ship may have masked some sounds, we conclude that fish sound production in the Gulf of maine during the fall is uncommon. The recorded fish sounds are tentatively attributed to the cusk Brosme brosme. cusk sounds consisted variously of isolated thumps, widely spaced thump trains, drumrolls, and their combinations. Frequency peaks were observed at 188, 539, and 1195 Hz. Use of a remotely operated vehicle （ROV） as a passive acoustic observation platform was problematic due to high ROV self-noise and the ROV＇s inability to maintain a fixed position on the bottom without thruster power. Some fishes were clearly also disturbed by ROV noise, indicating a potential ROV sampling bias. Based on our observations, we suggest that new instruments incorporating both optic and passive acoustic technologies are needed to provide better tools for in situ behavioral studies ofcusk and other fishes [current Zoology 56 （1）： 90-99 2010].
