Coronavirus disease 2019(COVId-19)is,at present,one of the most relevant global health *** the literature hepatic alterations have been described in COVId-19 patients,and they are mainly represented by worsening of underlying chronic liver disease leading to hepatic decompensation and liver failure with higher *** potential mechanisms used by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-Co V-2)to cause liver damage have been ***-19 primary liver injury is less common than secondary liver *** of the available data demonstrate how liver damage in SARSCo V-2 infection is likely due to systemic inflammation,and it is less likely mediated by a cytopathic effect directed on liver ***,liver alterations could be caused by hypoxic injury and drugs(antibiotics and non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs,remdesivir,tocilizumab,tofacitinib and dexamethasone).SARS-Co V-2 infection can induce multiple vascular district atherothrombosis by affecting simultaneously cerebral,coronary and peripheral vascular *** in the literature highlight how the virus triggers an exaggerated immune response,which added to the cytopathic effect of the virus can induce endothelial damage and a prothrombotic dysregulation of *** leads to a higher incidence of symptomatic and confirmed venous thrombosis and of pulmonary embolisms,especially in central,lobar or segmental pulmonary arteries,in *** are currently fewer data for arterial thrombosis,while myocardial injury was identified in 7%-17%of patients hospitalized with SARS-Co V-2 infection and 22%-31%in the intensive care unit *** data also revealed a higher occurrence of stroke and more serious forms of peripheral arterial disease in COVId-19 *** dysregulation is observed during the COVId-19 *** platelet count,mildly increased prothrombin time and increased ddimer are typical laboratory features of patients with severe SAR

Seismic data of earthquakes recorded during the last 40 years in southern Calabria have been compared with geological data in order to obtain a seismotectonic picture of the area. We sought for any possible correlation between the main regional tectonic structures, the distribution of earthquake hypocentres and the focal mechanism of earthquakes with magnitude(Ml)≥*** of historical and recent seismicity and analysis of geological structures allowed to define the main shear strips on a regional scale. More than 2600 earthquakes with 1.5 ≤ Ml ≤ 4.5 have been considered. The focal mechanisms of earthquakes with Ml≥3 have been compared with the kinematics of known faults and used to give insight on the current active stress field. From the analysis carried out it was possible to expand the cognitive framework regarding the activity of the main tectonic structures present in the area. This study also served to identify areas of high seismicity which do not correspond to any evidence of tectonic structures on the surface, and areas where recognized tectonic structures have not shown any seismicity during the last decades. These cases could be the subject of future investigation in order to correctly assess the seismic hazard in *** task is important in the context of seismic hazard evaluation and mitigation.

A headspace solid-phase microextraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(HS-SPME/GC-MS)method was used to study the volatile organic compounds(VOCs)associated with the differential immune response of tomato plants infected with the recombinant strain of potato virus Y(PVY^(C)-to),necrogenic to *** was carried out in UC82(UC),a virus susceptible tomato variety,comparing the same UC plants grafted or not onto a virus tolerant tomato ecotype,Manduria(Ma);the three types of samples used for the GC-MS analysis were mock-inoculated UC/Ma plants,UC/Ma+PVY^(C)-to and UC+PVY^(C)-to plants;the VOCs obtained were *** from symptomatic PVY^(C)-to-infected UC plants showed a VOCs composition enriched in alcohols,fatty acid derivates,benzenoids,and salicylic acid derivatives,while in mock-inoculated UC/Ma plants VOCs were mainly characterized by methyl ester *** VOC profile was in line with RNAseq data analyses,denoting that PVY^(C)-to viral RNA accumulation and disease symptoms induce the specific transcriptional activation of genes involved in VOCs ***,principal component analysis highlighted that VOCs of PVY^(C)-to-infected and mock-inoculated grafted plants were much closer each other than that of symptomatic PVY^(C)-to-infected non-grafted UC *** results suggest that VOCs profiles of tomato plants are related to the viral RNA accumulation,disease intensity and graft-derived tolerance to PVY^(C)-to infection.

A highly selective palladium-catalyzed carbonylation of 2-alkynylanilines bearing an amide moiety to condensed six-membered heterocyclic structures has been developed under mild conditions(room temperature and atmospheric pressure of CO).The carbonylative protocol is also compatible with CO surrogates,such as benzene-1,3,5-triyl triformate(TFBen)or the newly developed calix[6]arenes functionalized with six formate groups(CLX[6]CO),which are both capable to release CO in situ.A series of tricyclic fused heterocycles containing the important oxazino-quinolinone scaffold have been selectively obtained(only the 6-endo-dig cyclization mode has been observed)in good to excellent yields(up to 99%).

This paper proposes a deep-Q-network(dQN) controller for network selection and adaptive resource allocation in heterogeneous networks, developed on the ground of a Markov decision process(MdP) model of the problem. Network selection is an enabling technology for multi-connectivity, one of the core functionalities of 5G. For this reason, the present work considers a realistic network model that takes into account path-loss models and intra-RAT(radio access technology) interference. Numerical simulations validate the proposed approach and show the improvements achieved in terms of connection acceptance, resource allocation, and load *** particular, the dQN algorithm has been tested against classic reinforcement learning one and other baseline approaches.
