Widely used spin-coated nickle oxide （NiOx） based perovskite solar cells often suffer from severe interfacial reactions between the NiOxand adjacent perovskite layers due to surface defect states,which inherently impair device performance in a long-term view,even with surface molecule *** this study,we developed high-quality magnetron-sputtered NiOxthin films through detailed process optimization,and compared systematically sputtered and spin-coated NiOxthin film surfaces from materials to *** sputtered NiOxfilms exhibit improved crystallinity,smoother surfaces,and significantly reduced Ni3+or Ni vacancies compared to their spin-coated ***,the interface between the perovskite and sputtered NiOxfilm shows a substantially reduced density of defect *** solar cells （PSCs） fabricated with our optimally sputtered NiOxfilms achieved a high power conversion efficiency （PCE） of up to 19.93%and demonstrated enhanced stability,maintaining 86.2% efficiency during 500 h of maximum power point tracking under one standard sun ***,with the surface modification using (4-(2,7-dibromo-9,9-dimethylacridin-10（9H）-yl)butyl)p hosphonic acid （DMAcPA）,the device PCE was further promoted to 23.07%,which is the highest value reported for sputtered NiOxbased PSCs so far.

Objective To estimate the prevalence of unknown atrial fibrillation(AF)in the elderly population of the Veneto Region,*** 1820 patients aged≥65 years with no history of AF and not anticoagulated were enrolled in primary-care *** underwent an opportunistic electrocardiogram screening with a handheld device(My Diagnostick)designed to specifically detect *** electrocardiogram recordings were reviewed by the researchers,who confirmed the presence of *** The device detected an arrhythmia in 143 patients,which was confirmed as AF in 101/143(70.6%),with an overall prevalence of AF of 5.5%(101/1820).Prevalence of unknown AF resulted in 3.6%in patients aged 65–74 years,and 7.5%in patients age 75 or older,and increased according to CHA2 DS2-VASc score:3.5%in patients with a score of 1 or 2,5.6%in patients with a score of 3,7.0%in patients with a score of 4,and 7.2%in patients with a score≥*** detection rate was significantly higher in patients with mild symptoms compared to asymptomatic counterparts(24.1%vs.4.0%,P<0.0001).At multivariate analysis,congestive heart failure and age≥75 years-old were independent predictors for screen-detected *** An opportunistic screening with handheld device revealed an unexpectedly high prevalence of unknown AF in elderly patients with mild *** increased with age and CHA2DS2-VASc score.

In this paper a new finite-volume non-hydrostatic and shock-capturing three-dimensional model for the simulation of wave-structure interaction and hydrodynamic phenomena（wave refraction, diffraction, shoaling and breaking） is proposed. The model is based on an integral formulation of the Navier-Stokes equations which are solved on a time dependent coordinate system： a coordinate transformation maps the varying coordinates in the physical domain to a uniform transformed space. The equations of motion are discretized by means of a finite-volume shock-capturing numerical procedure based on high order WENO reconstructions. The solution procedure for the equations of motion uses a third order accurate Runge-Kutta（SSPRK） fractional-step method and applies a pressure corrector formulation in order to obtain a divergence-free velocity field at each stage. The proposed model is validated against several benchmark test cases.

Today,the most commonly used civil infrastructure inspection method is based on a visual assessment conducted by certified inspectors following prescribed ***,the increase in aggressive environmental and load conditions,coupled with the achievement of many structures of the life-cycle end,has highlighted the need to automate damage identification and satisfy the number of structures that need to be *** overcome this challenge,this paper presents a method for automating concrete damage classification using a deep convolutional neural *** convolutional neural network was designed after an experimental investigation of a wide number of pretrained networks,applying the transfer-learning *** and validation were conducted using a database built with 1352 images balanced between“undamaged”,“cracked”,and“delaminated”concrete *** increase the network robustness compared to images in real-world situations,different image configurations have been collected from the Internet and on-field bridge *** GoogLeNet model,with the highest validation accuracy of approximately 94%,was selected as the most suitable network for concrete damage *** results confirm that the proposed model can correctly classify images from real concrete surfaces of bridges,tunnels,and pavement,resulting in an effective alternative to the current visual inspection techniques.

Mechanisms and significance of liver steatosis in hepatitis C virus infection

The pathogenesis of liver damage associated with chronic hepatitis C virus （HCV） infection is thought to be largely immunomediated. However, some frequent histoo pathological features, such as steatosis, suggest a direct cytopathic effect of HCV. The direct responsibility of HCV in the pathogenesis of steatosis is shown by：（1） the association with HCV genotype 3 infection, suggesting that some viral sequences are involved in the intracellular aco cumulation of lipids; （2） the correlation between severity of steatosis and HCV replication levels; （3） association between response to treatment and disappearance of steatosis. Experimental studies have shown that the nuo cleocapsid protein of HCV （core protein） is capable and sufficient to induce lipid accumulation in hepatocytes. Moreover, the observation that chronic hepatitis C pao tients have reduced serum levels of ApoB suggests an interference with the very-low density lipoprotein （VLDL） assembly, although other mechanisms are possible. In patients with sustained virological response induced by antiviral therapy, such levels are normalized. Other obo servations suggest that the pathogenesis of steatosis in chronic hepatitis C is not solely due to HCV. The origin of the mild steatosis observed in most patients may be metabolic, since its severity correlates with body mass index and insulin resistance. Most studies have shown a correlation between presence and/or severity of steatosis and fibrosis stage, but it is unclear whether this effect is direct or mediated by the associated insulin resistance, increased susceptibility to apoptosis, or by inflammao tory cytokines. Finally, steatosis negatively influences the rate of response to antiviral treatment, as confirmed by large clinical trials. Management of steatosis in chronic hepatitis C requires knowledge of its pathogenesis and may involve both life-style changes and pharmacological interventions, although the latter remain largely experio mental.
