In this article d.d.cated.to the mod.ling of vertical mass transfers between the biofilm and.the bulk flow, we have, in the first instance, presented.the method.logy.used. followed.by.the presentation of various results obtained.through analy.es cond.cted.on velocity.field., d.fferent fluxes, and.overall transfer coefficients. d.e to numerical constraints (resolution of relevant spatial scales), we have restricted.the analy.is to low Schmid. numbers (Sc=0.1, Sc=1, and.Sc=10) and.a single roughness Rey.old. number (Re*=150). The analy.is of instantaneous concentration field. from various simulations revealed.logarithmic concentration profiles above the canopy. In this zone, the concentration is relatively.homogeneous for longer times. The analy.is of results also showed.that the contribution of molecular d.ffusion to the total flux d.pend. on the Schmid. number. This contribution is negligible for Schmid. numbers Sc≥0.1, but nearly.balances the turbulent flux for Sc=0.1. In the canopy. the local Sherwood.number, given by.the ratio of the total flux (within or above the canopy. to the molecular d.ffusion flux at the wall, also d.pend. on the Schmid. number and.varies significantly.between the canopy.and.the region above. The exchange velocity. a purely.hy.0}od.namic parameter, is ind.pend.nt of the Schmid. number and.is on the ord.r of 10% of in the present case. This stud. also reveals that nutrient absorption by.organisms near the wall d.pend. on the Schmid. number. Such absorption is facilitated.by.lower Schmid. numbers.

In this article, we investigated.the influence of size and.initial water content on the effective d.ffusion coefficient of sweet potatoes samples cut into cubic and.cy.ind.0}al shapes. The sizes of the cubic samples are 0.5, 1, 1.5, 1.75, 2, 2.5 and.3 cm ed.e with a respective initial water content of 2.7, 3.76, 3.48, 2.68, 3.28, 2.17 and.2.29 kg/kgms. For cy.ind.0}al samples, the rad.us is set at 0.5 cm and.sample heights are 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 and.4 cm with respective water contents of 2.2, 3.19, 2.85, 2.1, 2.17, 2.39 and.2.03 kg/kgms. The effective d.ffusion coefficients of cubic samples are of the ord.r of 10−10 and.10−9 m2∙s−1 grew with sample ed.e. As for the cy.ind.0}al samples, the effective d.ffusion coefficients were of the ord.r of 10−9 m2∙s−1 and.there was no linear correlation between cy.ind.r height and.their effective d.ffusion coefficient. As for the examination of the initial water content on the effective d.ffusion coefficient, it turned.out that the initial water content had.no influence on the effective d.ffusion coefficient of the sweet potato samples.

Objective:To evaluate the polio laboratory.surveillance carried.out from January.2019 to May.2023 by.the Polio Regional Reference Laboratory.Sri ***:This retrospective stud. analy.ed.all stool samples received.und.r the acute flaccid.paraly.is(AFP)and.immunod.ficient vaccine-d.rived.poliovirus(Vd.V)surveillance at Polio Regional Reference Laboratory.Sri Lanka from January.2019 to May.*** results of the testing method.logies were extracted.from the laboratory.d.ta sy.tem,i.e.,poliovirus virus isolation,intra-ty.ic d.fferentiation/Vd.V real time reverse transcriptase poly.erase chain reaction(ITd.Vd.V rRTPCR)and.sequencing,along with the d.ta on timing of reporting results,stool ad.quacy.and.*** was analy.ed.using d.scriptive ***:A total of 2141 stool samples from 1644 cases were received.for AFP surveillance from Sri Lanka(93.61%),Mald.ves(1.52%),and.immunod.ficient Vd.V(4.86%)*** polioviruses(19/1644,1.15%)and.non-polio enteroviruses(73/1644,4.44%)were isolated.while Sabin-like 3 virus was d.tected.in majority.12/19,63.15%)among the poliovirus *** polioviruses or circulating Vd.Vs were not d.tected.among the *** all y.ars of the stud.,the non-polio AFP d.tection rate was>1/100000 in child.en aged.less than 15 y.ars,whereas stool ad.quacy.rate was>80%.All results were reported.within 14 d.y. of receipt,ensuring timely.reporting as per global ***:The Polio Regional Reference Laboratory.Sri Lanka play. a vital role in maintaining the polio-free status in the country.through its robust laboratory.surveillance,while ad.ering to the surveillance ***-d.tection of wild.polioviruses and.circulating Vd.V d.ring the stud. period.reinforces the polio-free status in the country.

The Intiéd.ugou located.in the Hound. Birimian greenstone belt has been the subject of several mining and.geoscience stud.es that have led.to the d.scovery.of mineralized.gold.targets. One of these mineralized.targets has prompted.work that raises the issue of control factors for the gold.mineralization of the prospect. The method.logy.used.in this stud. combines a stud. of core d.ill hole d.ta located.in the area and.laboratory.stud.es. The Intiéd.ugou sector is based.on and.sito-basaltic, and.sitic interstratified.volcanoclastite rocks and.Tarkwaïen ty.e d.trital sed.mentary.rocks caught in a vice in the volcano-sed.mentary.unit. Lithostructural analy.is of the sector shows that the subvolcanic rocks bearing gold.mineralization are subjected.to heterogeneous d.ctile to brittle d.formations and.affected.by.hy.0}othermalism evolving at stages marked.by.large fissure fillings. These hy.0}othermal phases evolve in the zones of expansion created.by.the brittle d.formations that have contributed.to the d.posits of d.fferent ty.es of gold.enriched.sulphid.s. These d.fferent phases of hy.0}othermal d.stabilization generally.of low d.gree accompany.the tard. to post-eburnean brittle tectonics. This d.formation sy.tem is favorable to the establishment of gold.mineralization in the form of vein bod.es. The overimposition of d.formed.and.altered.areas suggests a genetic relationship between d.formation and.hy.0}othermal activity. In conclusion, the mineralization of Intiéd.ugou in vein sty.es, set up in a volcanic arc environment with a paragenesis of gold.py.ite d.posit ± chalcopy.ite would.be controlled.by.the structural aspect and.accompanied.by.hy.0}othermal alteration.
