Nuclear spins are among the potential candidates prospected for quantum information technology.A recent breakthrough enabled to atomically resolve their interaction with the electron spin,the so-called hyperfine interaction,within individual atoms utilizing scanning tunneling microscopy(STM).Intriguingly,this was only realized for a few species put on a two-layers thick ***,we systematically quantify from first-principles the hyperfine interactions of the whole series of 3d transition adatoms deposited on various thicknesses of MgO,NaF,NaCl,h–BN,and Cu2N *** identify the adatom-substrate complexes with the largest hyperfine interactions and unveil the main trends and *** reveal the core mechanisms at play,such as the interplay of the local bonding geometry and the chemical nature of the thin films,which trigger transitions between high-and low-spin states accompanied with subtle internal rearrangements of the magnetic *** providing a general map of hyperfine interactions,our work has immediate implications in future STM investigations aiming at detecting and realizing quantum concepts hinging on nuclear spins.

As forests in neotropical regions,particularly in developing countries,are devastated,interventions to restore biodiversity and its ecological functions are *** producers have thus been encouraged to grow trees for wood production as an economic *** objective of this study was to quantify the increment of wood density of four forest species from different successional classes of a mixed system of restoration in a neotropical forest in *** discs were sampled at breast height and analyzed radially by X-ray densitometry to obtain apparent density and basic *** trees each of a species from the pioneer,early and late secondary successional stages and of the dominant species in the climax *** radial profiles indicated increasing density from the pith to bark of trunks,except for some variations due to wood defects and *** density was 0.576 g cm^(-3),0.655 g cm^(-3),0.706 g cm^(-3)and 0.775 g cm^(-3),respectively,for Peltophorum dubium,Schinus terebinthifolius,Cariniana estrellensis and Hymenaea *** profiles indicated higher amplitudes in the apparent densities for slow-growing species.X-ray densitometry generated parameters such as minimum,average and maximum densities,and radial density *** parameters are important for understanding the ecological functional role of successional classes of the Atlantic Forest from the Neotropical region.

抗体是一类Y字形的蛋白分子，在机体内识别数百种自身或非自身的成分。抗体是后天免疫系统的核心成分，以一种可溶性的方式存在于B细胞表面或血液中。人们通过不同类型的哺乳动物表达载体来表达人源化抗体并将其投入使用。对于抗体的研究已经成为生物学及现代医学关注的热点话题。通过基因工程改造而产生的抗体药物的应用为很多疾病的治疗带来了新的希望。抗体药物与化学药物的联合应用刺激了新生药物的产生。本研究的主要内容即构建了人源化抗体的哺乳动物表达载体，并将其转入到大肠杆菌中。反应中用到的寡聚核苷酸来自H1c9序列，并分别在5’及3’端插入BglII和EcoRI限制性内切酶位点。哺乳动物表达载体使用的是pEGFPC1。PCR产物及酶切产物采用1%的琼脂糖凝胶电泳，目的片段通过凝胶回收试剂盒进行回收。连接后将连接产物转化大肠杆菌感受态。从我们所得到的数据可以看出，人源化单链抗体表达载体pEGFP-C1-hscFv构建成功。

High-precision geochronology of Mesozoic magmatism in Macao,Southeast China:Evidence for multistage granite emplacement

Six new high precision U-Pb zircon Id-TIMS ages plus thirteen in situ high spatial resolution U-Pb zircon LA-MC-ICPMS ages are reported from Jurassic plutonic(metaluminous to weakly peraluminous biotite granites)and Jurassic to Cretaceous hypabyssal(dacites)rocks from *** its relatively small area(~30 km^2),the new ages tightly constrain the Macao granitic magmatism to two periods ranging from 164.5±0.6 Ma to 162.9±0.7 Ma and 156.6±0.2 Ma to 155.5±0.8 Ma,separated by ca.6 *** zircons point to the existence of a basement with ages up to Paleo-Proterozoic and late Archean in the *** addition,younger dacitic rocks were dated at 150.6±0.6 Ma andd whole-rock REE data of Macao granites indicate that the first pulse is also represented in Hong Kong and Southeast(SE)China,while magmatism with the chemical characteristics of the second pulse seems to not be represented outside *** two granitic magmatic pulses have distinct mineralogical and geochemical features that support their discrete nature rather than a continuum of comagmatic activity and suggest that the Macao granitic suite was incrementally assembled during a period of ca.9 Ma,a hypothesis also extendable to the neighboring Hong Kong region for a time lapse of ca.24 *** Macao,the transition from granitic magmatism(Middle to Upper Jurassic)to the younger dacite dykes(Upper Jurassic to Lower Cretaceous)most likely corresponds to a change in the regional tectonic setting,from an extensional regime related with foundering of the subducting paleoPacific plate during the Early Yanshanian period to the reestablishment of a normal subduction system in SE China during the Late Yanshanian period.

The broke of a tailings dam from Vale S.A. destroyed a gigantic area killing 270 persons in Brumadinho/Brazil. Organizing activities after a mass disaster is a complex process that requires the involvement of many people and resources in the laboratory. To dNA identification of the victims, a daunting work had to be made by dNA laboratory staff in a collaborative effort with many partners. Efforts to implement good practice guidelines in disaster Victim Identification (dVI) have revealed several important aspects that need to change in the forensic dNA laboratory. This article highlights the challenges of implementing dVI best practice guidelines in resource-poor settings, but with professionals from different sectors engaged in the same goal of briefly identifying victims and helping families and society.

Nd^3＋ doped CaO-Al2O-B2O3-CaF2 glasses were prepared by conventional melt-quenching technique,and their structural and thermal properties were *** amorphous nature of these samples was confirmed by X-ray diffraction（XRd）.The measured density showed an increase with Nd2O3 doping,at the expense of *** spectra presented changes with addition of Nd2O3,which indicated that the network structure of the glasses studied presented various borate groups,such as tetraborates,metaborates,ortho-borates and pyroborates *** N4 values calculated from FTIR spectra revealed that incorporation of Nd2O3 into glass network converted the structural units from BO4 to *** the analysis of dTA curves,we verified that Tg increased with the addition of Nd2O3;it was similar to the behavior caused by modifier oxides in the structure of borate *** that,the calculated glass stability Tx–Tg for doped samples presented a decrease if compared to the undoped *** heat and thermal conductivity did not present significant changes with Nd2O3 concentration,up to 2.30 mol.%.The results of density,dTA,Raman and FTIR reinforced the idea that Nd2O3 acted as network modifier.

Although the scientific knowledge about some associations between physical parameters of the soil is consolidated,studies focused on investigating the dynamics of forest restoration processes and the structure of soils remain *** study area is located in Cerrado and is called as Private Natural Heritage Reserve(RPPN)Águas Perenes Forest(perennial water forest)and was selected as a“High Conservation Value Forest”,provides scope to investigate the soil physical properties recovery on passive restoration sites,with different ages but with the same land use ***,the aim was to investigate the soil density,moisture,penetration resistance and infiltration rate with long-term from old(FA,46 year-old),medium(FB,11 year-old)and young(FC,8 year-old)passive restoration *** was observed differences in soil density,as well as in soil moisture,resistance to penetration and infiltration *** densities recorded for FA,FB and FC were 1.38,1.48 and 1.53 g cm^(-3),*** recorded higher mean soil moisture(14.9%)than FB(11.5%)and FC(10.0%),whereas mean soil resistance to penetration was increased from FA(0.87 MPa)to FB(0.91 MPa)and FC(1.10 MPa).The average infiltration rate was almost similar in FA and FB(FA=76.43 mm h^(-1);FB=77.48 mm h^(-1))and approximately 39%higher than FC(55.79 mm h^(-1)).Thus,although soil density and moisture were different in each passive restoration site,11 year-old passive restoration site showed similar resistance to penetration and infiltration rate to the old(46 years)passive restoration *** features allowed seeing improvements in hydrological maintenance in the soil and revealed that passive restoration in Cerrado is able to improve the physical features on a soil presenting similar texture,climate and management history.

The discovery that new neurons are produced in some regions of the adult mammalian brain is a paradigm-shift in neuroscience *** new-born cells are produced from neuroprogenitors mainly in the subventricular zone at the margin of the lateral ventricle,subgranular zone in the hippocampal dentate gyrus and in the striatum,a component of the basal ganglia,even in *** the human hippocampus,neuroblasts are produced even in *** regulation of adult neurogenesis is a complex phenomenon involving a multitude of molecules,neurotransmitters and soluble factors released by different sources including glial ***,the resident macrophages of the central nervous system,are considered to play an important role on the regulation of adult neurogenesis both in physiological and pathological *** stroke and other acute neural disorders,there is an increase in the numbers of neuroblast production in the neurogenic *** activation is believed to display both beneficial and detrimental role on adult neurogenesis after stroke,depending on the activation level and brain *** this article,we review the scientific evidence addressing the role of microglial activation on adult neurogenesis after ischemia.A comprehensive understanding of the microglial role after stroke and other neural disorders it is an important step for development of future therapies based on manipulation of adult neurogenesis.
