This article discusses one experienced by students and preceptors of Programs Pro-Pet-Health and Health of the federal University of Rio Grande do Norte/faculty of Health Sciences of Trairí in the Reference Center for Social Assistance (CRAS) in the municipality of experience Santa Cruz/RN, with a view to the relationship between preventive health activities and social assistance. The proposed work of Pro-Pet in the assistance unit sought to unravel the lifestyle of the target audience in order to know the risk factors and suggest the adoption of health measures for disease prevention. Work to guide the educational process for health promotion with socioeconomic and cultural contextualization built on scientific papers surveyed in Lilacs and Scielo data was used. On average, 12 women aged between 35 and 60 years participated in the group. Eight group sessions occurred in the period from March to May 2014. Regarding work methodologies, we used dynamic integration and self-knowledge;dialogued lectures;lectures;reports of experiences;thematic workshops;educational videos;wheels conversation complemented by the use of texts and poems;as well as application of the checklist in conducting health and anthropometry. The experience helped identify the characteristics of the group and plan understandable and meaningful guidance for women, facilitating the understanding of the importance of self-care in preventing disease.

In order to develop an efficient method about protein extraction which is suitable for apple proteomic analysis, four protocols of total protein extraction from apple leaves, which are trichloroacetic acid/acetone precipitation method （TCA）, phenol extraction methanol/ammonium acetate precipitation method, Tris-HCl extraction method and modified Tris-HCl extraction method were compared. The results showed that the modified Tris-HCl extraction method was the most suitable method in protein extraction for two-dimensional electrophoresis （2-DE） from apple leaves based on the highest resolution and more informative spots of 2-DE gels with no apparent vertical or horizontal streaking.

Objective:To explore the antispermatogenic and testicular antisleroidogenic activities of feronia limonia fruit pulp southern ***:fourty Wistar male albino rats(Ratios norvegicus)were equally divided into four *** groups were administered with the ethanolic extract of feronia lirnonia(***)fruit pulp at doses of 250 and 500 nig/kg body weight once daily for 55 *** treated rats had corresponding recovery *** the end of each treatment periods,various spermatological indices,tissue biochemicals and testicular enzymes levels were *** profiles were also ***:Compared with the control,the *** pulp at both dose leveb did not decrease body weight,which were associated with decline in epididymal sperm count,motility,viability and increased percent of abnormal ***,*** pulp at 500 mg/kg body weight markedly reduced the epididymal and testicular protein content by 24.58%and 29.86%,respectively,as well as the glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase and△~5-3β-hydroxy steroid dehydrogenase)levels by 42.82%and 38.08%,respectively,while a significant elevation was observed in testicular cholesterol and ascorbic acid content.A gradual recovery of all parameters was observed after 55 days of treatment *** significant alterations in haematological indices were ***:The present findings indicate that *** fruit pulp may have reversible antispermatogenic and antisteroidogenic properties,and could partially support the traditional use as mate contraceptive.

Problems associated with carbon support corrosion under operating fuel cell conditions require the identification of alternative supports for platinum-based nanosized *** supported on manganese vanadate(Pt/MnV_(2)O_(6))was prepared by microwave irradiation method and characterized using X-ray diffraction,fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive spectroscopy,and transmission electron *** borohydride oxidation reaction(BOR)on Pt/MnV_(2)O_(6) was studied in highly alkaline media using voltammetry,chronoamperometry,and electrochemical impedance *** electrocatalytic activity of Pt/MnV_(2)O_(6) was also compared with that of commercial Pt/C(46 wt%Pt)*** apparent activation energy of BOR at Pt/MnV_(2)O_(6) was estimated to be 32 k j mol^(-1) and the order of reaction to be 0.51,indicating that borohydride hydrolysis proceeds in parallel with its ***-term stability of Pt/MnV_(2)O_(6) under BOR typical conditions was observed.A laboratory-scale direct borohydride fuel cell assembled with a Pt/MnV_(2)O_(6) anode reached a specific power of 274 W g^(-1).Experimental results on Pt/MnV_(2)O_(6) were complemented by DfT calculations,which indicated good adherence of Pt to MnV_(2)O_(6),beneficial for electrocatalyst stability.

Virtual reality(VR)seems to have the potential to provide opportunities to promote physical activity(PA)in a fun *** paper aimed to examine the acute effects of three different virtual reality-based exercise bikes on young adults’blood pressure(BP)and feelings compared to a traditional exercise cycling *** exercise sessions(immersive VR cycling,two non-immersive VR cycling,and traditional cycling)were completed by 36 young adults(22 females;Mage=23.6 years).BP was measured immediately before and after each session using a BP cuff and exercise-induced feelings were assessed via an established survey immediately after each ***-cipants’previous experience with VR was used as the covariate in the ANCOVA with repeated ***-icant main effects were observed across cycling sessions for systolic blood pressure[f(2,29)=3.04,p=0.02,(η^(2)=0.38)]and feelings[f(3,32)=7.74,pf-icantly increased systolic blood pressure compared to the two non-immersive VR ***,immersive VR significantly increased feelings compared to the two non-immersive VR sessions,whereas these two non-immersive VR exercises had significantly greater increased feelings compared to traditional cycling,*** suggest immersive VR-based exercise cycling may lead to higher exercise intensities compared to non-immersive VR ***,immersive VR cycling yielded higher feelings compared to non-immersive VR and traditional ***,immersive VR-based exercise can be a fun and physically active health promotion tool among young adults.

Allopolyploidy is an important process in plant speciation, yet newly formed allopolyploid species typically suffer from extreme genetic bottlenecks. One escape from this impasse might be homoeologous meiotic pairing, during which homoeologous exchanges(HEs) generate phenotypically variable progeny. However,the immediate genome-wide patterns and resulting phenotypic diversity generated by HEs remain largely unknown. Here, we analyzed the genome composition of 202 phenotyped euploid segmental allopolyploid individuals from the fourth selfed generation following chromosomal doubling of reciprocal f1 hybrids of crosses between rice subspecies, using whole-genome sequencing. We describe rampant occurrence of HEs that, by overcoming incompatibility or conferring superiority of hetero-cytonuclear interactions, generate extensive and individualized genomic mosaicism across the analyzed tetraploids. We show that the resulting homoeolog copy number alteration in tetraploids affects known-function genes and their complex genetic interactions, in the process creating extraordinary phenotypic diversity at the population level following a single initial hybridization. Our results illuminate the immediate genomic landscapes possible in a tetraploid genomic environment, and underscore HE as an important mechanism that fuels rapid phenotypic diversification accompanying the initial stages of allopolyploid evolution.

Previous experiments with organo-metallic compounds like ferrocene,nickelocene and magnesocene showed that a pure spectrum must be obtained on the residual gas mass analyser before running successfully on the ion *** collaboration with the chemistry department of the University of Caen,LCMT-ENSI Caen,the synthesis of these metallocene compounds has been studied to provide enriched isotopic compounds to GANIL’s *** chemical transformation yields were 90%,80% and 43%,***, chromocene,colbatocene and ruthenocene compounds have first been studied with a gas mass analyser and then successfully tested on the ECR 4M ion source at *** 15eμA of ^(51)V^(11+),20eμA of ^(52)Cr^(11+), 22eμA of 59Co^(11+),and 17eμA of ^(102)Ru^(11+) were *** comparison between the results obtained on the gas mass analyser and the ion beams provided by the source has allowed us to validate this method of determining whether or not an organo-metallic compound could be a candidate for running on our ECR ion *** the ECR ion sources are tuned and used alternately on the GANIL injectors,the available time for the tests is rare,so this method could be an alternative for the validation of new compounds.
