Plant root-nodule symbiosis(RNS)with mutualistic nitrogen-fixing bacteria is restricted to a single clade of angiosperms,the Nitrogen-Fixing Nodulation Clade(NFNC),and is best understood in the legume *** species share many commonalities,explained either by divergence from a common ancestor over 100 million years ago or by convergence following independent origins over that same time ***,comparative analyses of diverse nodulation syndromes can provide insights into constraints on nodulation—what must be acquired or cannot be lost for a functional symbiosis—and the latitude for Plant Communications Genomic landscape of nodulation variation in the ***,much remains to be learned about nodulation,especially outside of ***,we employed a large-scale phylogenomic analysis across 88 species,complemented by 151 RNA-seq libraries,to elucidate the evolution of *** phylogenomic analyses further emphasize the uniqueness of the transcription factor NIN as a master regulator of nodulation and identify key muta-tions that affect its function across the *** transcriptomic assessment revealed nodule-specific upregulated genes across diverse nodulating plants,while also identifying nodule-specific and nitrogen-response *** 70%of symbiosis-related genes are highly conserved in the four representative species,whereas defense-related and host-range restriction genes tend to be lineage *** study also identified over 900000 conserved non-coding elements(CNEs),over 300000 of which are unique to sampled NFNC ***-specific CNEs are enriched with the active h3K9ac mark and are correlated with accessible chromatin regions,thus representing a pool of candidate regula-tory elements for genes involved in ***,our results provide novel insights into the evolution of nodulation and lay a foundation for engineering of RNS traits in agriculturally important crops.

Additive manufacturing of Sm-Fe-N magnets

Isotropic Sm-Fe-N bonded magnets were obtained by additive manufacturing(Am). The technique used was the so-called powder bed fusion(PBF) and the feedstock was composed of a polymeric binder(PA-12) and Sm-Fe-N flake particles(Nitroquench-P). The Am set-up equipment uses a computer-controlled CO2 laser beam to melt the binder and constructs magnets layer-by-layer. In order to develop this study, a cylinder with 10 mm of both height and diameter was selected as the shape of samples. Specimens were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy(SEm) and X-ray diffraction(XRD). magnetic properties were measured in a hysteresis graph. XRD results indicate that there is no degradation of the main magnetic phase(SmFe7 Nx). In the Am component, porous regions were identified on SEm micrographs, as well as magnetic particles and polymeric binder. Remanence values(Br) as great as 0.3 T are achieved, while intrinsic coercivities remain in the range from 616 up to 642 ka/m. An additional isostatic compression of the parts results in greater remanence, which is directly proportional to the density increase. Coercivity is also sensitive to the porosity decrease, probably due to a better interlocking of particles. Current results indicate Am as a promising route for near net-shape manufacturing of Sm-Fe-N permanent magnets, a market niche yet to be widely explored.

The Bi-2223/Ag tapes were prepared with spray-died powders, which are of different particle sizes and phase assemblages by varying the annealing time in pure oxygen. Longer time annealing degraded the reactivity of precursor powder, which in turn resulted in an incomplete conversion from precursors to Bi-2223, porosity core and misaligned grains in fully processed tapes. The best j. in short pressed samples varied from 29.7 to 47ka/cm2 for the tapes made from different powders.

Non-Inductive Start up of QUEST Plasma by RF Powert

Both start-up and sustainment of plasma were successfully achieved by fully non- inductive current drive using microwave with a frequency of 8.2 Ghz. Plasmas current of 15 ka was implemented for 1 s. magnetic surface reconstruction exhibited a plasma shape with an aspect ratio of below 1.5. The plasma current was dependent significantly on the launched microwave power and vertical magnetic field, while not affected by the mode of launched wave and the toroidal refractive index. hard X-ray （hXR） emitted from energetic electrons accelerated by the microwave was observed, and the discharge with a plasma current over 4 ka followed the same trend as the number of photons of 10 keV to 12 keV. This suggests that the plasma current may be driven by energetic electrons. Based on the experimental conditions, alternative explanations of how the plasma current could be driven are discussed.

RESULTS:In the diabetic-pancreatitic rats treatment with insulin and CCK-8 significantly elevated pw/bm and the pancreatic contents of protein,amylase and lipase vs the rats receiving only CCK-8 ***-8 administered in combination with insulin also elevated the number of acinar cells with mitotic activities,whereas CCK-8 alone had no effect on laboratory parameters or the mitotic activities in diabetic-pancreatitic rats. Increased duodenal expression of mi R-146a and-155 in pediatric Crohn's disease

AIm: To evaluate the role of microRNA (miR)-146a, -155 and -122 in the duodenal mucosa of pediatric patients with Crohn’s disease (CD) and the effect of transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) on these miRs in duodenal epithelial and fibroblast ***: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded biopsies derived from the macroscopically inflamed (CD inflamed: n = 10) and intact (CD intact: n = 10) duodenal mucosa of pediatric CD patients and control children (C: n = 10) were examined. Expression of miR-146a, -155 and -122 was determined by real-time polymerase-chain reaction (PCR). The expression of the above miRs was investigated in recombinant human TGF-β (1 nmol/L, 24 h) or vehicle treated small intestinal epithelial cells (CCL-241) and primary duodenal fibroblast cells derived from healthy children as ***: Expression of miR-146a was significantly higher in the inflamed duodenal mucosa compared to the intact duodenal mucosa of children with CD (CD inflamed: 3.21 ± 0.50 vs CD intact: 0.62 ± 0.26, P ≤ 0.01) and to the control group (CD inflamed: 3.21 ± 0.50 vs C: 1.00 ± 0.33, P ≤ 0.05). The expression of miR-155 was significantly increased in the inflamed region of the duodenum compared to the control group (CD inflamed: 4.87 ± 1.02 vs Control: 1.00 ± 0.40, P ≤ 0.001). The expression of miR-122 was unchanged in the inflamed or intact mucosa of CD patients compared to controls. TGF-β treatment significantly decreased the expression of miR-155 in small intestinal epithelial cells (TGF-β: 0.7 ± 0.083 vs Control: 1 ± 0.09, P ≤ 0.05) and also the expression of miR-146a (TGF-β: 0.67 ± 0.04 vs Control: 1 ± 0.15, P ≤ 0.01) and miR-155 (TGF-β: 0.72 ± 0.09 vs Control: 1 ± 0.06, P ≤ 0.05) in primary duodenal fibroblasts compared to corresponding vehicle treated control

Towards the diffusion source cost reduction for NdFeB grain boundary diffusion process

Aiming at improving the performance/cost ratio in grain boundary diffusion process(GBDP),the critical RE containing Pr-Al-Cu alloy,less expensive RE containing La-Al-Cu alloy and non-RE Al-Cu alloy were employed as the diffusion *** preliminary results show that the coercivity was successfully enhanced from 1000 ka/m to 1695,1156 and 1125 ka/m by Pr70Al20Cu10,La70Al20Cu10 and Al75Cu25(at.%) alloys diffusion,respectively,due to the formation of(Nd,Pr)-Fe-B,La2 O3 and c-Nd2 O3 phases respectively,after *** is also found that the corrosion resistance can be improved by Al-Cu diffusion due to the positive effects of Al and Cu elements in grain *** present results demonstrated the various coercivity enhancement mechanisms for the GBDP based on different diffusion sources,and provided feasible solutions for cost reduction of GBDP and NdFeB production by saving RE resource.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the development of LT in Eastern Europe. Representatives of gastro- and hepatological societies answered a questionnaire comprising the most descriptive items of the issue of LT until 1998. The Baltic countries, together with 6 southernBalkan countries, moldovia and Belarus have not developed a programme of LT. In Ukraine, 7 LT were performed with 3 early deaths.

Effect of herpesvirus infection on pancreatic duct cell secretion

AIm： To examine the effect of acute infection caused by herpesvirus （pseudorabies virus, PRV） on pancreatic ductal secretion. mEThODS： The virulent Ba-DupGreen （BDG） and non- virulent ka-RREp01acgfp （KEG） genetically modified strains of PRV were used in this study and both of them contain the gene for green fluorescent protein （GFP）. Small intra/ interlobular ducts were infected with BDG virus （10^7 PFU/mL for 6 h） or with KEG virus （10^10 PFU/mL for 6 h）, while non-infected ducts were incubated only with the culture media. The ducts were then cultured for a further 18 h. The rate of hCO3 secretion [base efflux -λ（B）] was determined from the buffering capacity of the cells and the initial rate of intracellular acidification （1） after sudden blockage of basolateral base loaders with dihydro-4,4,- diisothiocyanatostilbene-2,2,-disulfonic acid （500 μmol/L） and amiloride （200 μmol/L）, and （2） after alkali loading the ducts by exposure to Nh4Cl. All the experiments were performed in hCO3-buffered Ringer solution at 37 ℃ （n = 5 ducts for each experimental condition）. Viral structural proteins were visualized by immunohistochemistry. Virallyencoded GFP and immunofluorescence signals were recorded by a confocal laser scanning microscope.RESULTS： The BDG virus infected the maj.rity of accessible cells of the duct as j.dged by the appearance of GFP and viral anUgens in the ductal cells. KEG virus caused a similarly high efficiency of infection. After blockage of basolateral base loaders, BDG infection significantly elevated -λB-） 24 h after the infection, compared to the non-infected group. however, KEG infection did not modify -λB-）. After alkali loading the ducts, -λB-） was significantly elevated in the BDG group compared to the control group 24 h after the infection. As we found with the inhibitor stop method, no change was observed in the group KEG compared to the non-infected group.
