In this paper, we establish travelling wave solutions for some nonlinear evolution equations. The first integral method is used to construct the travelling wave solutions of the modified benjamin-bona-Mahony and the coupled Klein-Gordon equations. The obtained results include periodic and solitary wave solutions. The first integral method presents a wider applicability to handling nonlinear wave equations.

Neuroimmunology is emerging as a pivotal field,shedding light on the intricate dialogues between the central nervous system(CNS)and the immune *** exploration is particularly significant in understanding microglia,the CNS’s innate immune cells,beyond the conventional conflation of“neuroinflammation”and“microglial activation.”This conflation has clouded the true complexity of these processes,potentially stalling scientific progress and the development of new *** challenge the long-standing perspectives that have oversimplified these interactions,advocating for a deeper exploration of the dynamic relationship between neuroinflammation and microglial *** dissecting specific molecular pathways,we aim to illuminate their elaborate roles in neuroinflammatory responses,especially in the context of Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Here,neuroinflammation is not merely a passive observer or a direct antagonist but a complex agent in the disease’s *** article calls for a significant paradigm shift towards an integrative,multi-omics approach to *** such a comprehensive framework is crucial for advancing our understanding of neuroinflammatory conditions and paving the way for targeted therapeutic strategies for brain diseases.

background:Poultry production cluster(PPC)programs are key strategies in many Asian countries to engage small commercial poultry producers in high-value production chains and to control infectious poultry *** study assessed the multiple impacts of PPCs through a transdisciplinary ecohealth approach in four Asian countries,and drew the implications for small producers to improve their livelihoods and reduce the risk of spreading infectious diseases in the poultry ***:The data collection combined both quantitative and qualitative *** comprised:formal structured household survey questionnaires,measuring the biosecurity level of poultry farms with a biosecurity score card;and key informant *** statistics were used to process the quantitative data and a content analysis was used to process the qualitative ***:This research found that poultry farms in clusters do not necessarily have better economic performance than those outside *** farmers in PPCs only consider them to be an advantage for expanding the scale of their poultry operations and improving household incomes,and they are less concerned about-and have limited capacities to-enhancing biosecurity and environmental *** measured the biosecurity level of farms in PPCs through a 14-item checklist and found that biosecurity is generally very low across all sample *** increased flies,mosquitoes,rats,and smells in and around PPCs not only pollute the environment,but also cause social conflicts with the surrounding ***:This research concluded that a poultry cluster,mainly driven by economic objectives,is not necessarily a superior model for the control of infectious *** level of biosecurity in PPCs was found to be *** the intensity of poultry operations in PPCs(farms are densely packed into clusters),and the close proximity to residential areas of some PPCs,the risk of spreading infectious diseases,in fact,incre

Clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR)—CRISPR-associated protein(Cas)and base editors are fundamental tools in plant genome ***9 from Streptococcus pyogenes(SpCas9),recognizing an NGG protospacer adjacent motif(PAM),is a widely used nuclease for genome editing in living ***12a nucleases,targeting T-rich PAMs,have also been recently demonstrated in several plant ***,multiple Cas9 and Cas12a engineered variants and orthologs,with different PAM recognition sites,editing efficiencies and fidelity,have been explored in *** RNA-guided sequence-specific nucleases(SSN)generate double-stranded breaks(DSbs)in DNA,which trigger non-homologous end-joining(NHEJ)repair or homology-directed repair(HDR),resulting in insertion and deletion(indel)mutations or precise gene replacement,***,genome editing can be achieved by base editors without introducing *** far,several base editors have been applied in plants to introduce C-to-T or A-to-G transitions,but they are still undergoing improvement in editing window size,targeting scope,off-target effects in DNA and RNA,product purity and overall ***,we summarize recent progress on the application of Cas nucleases,engineered Cas variants and base editors in plants.

Interest in preconcentration techniques for the determination of metals at ultratrace levels still continues increasingly because of some disadvantages of flameless atomic absorption spectrometry as well as the high costs of other sensitive methods in compared to flame atomic absorption *** this study,thiol-containing sulfonamide resin was synthesized,characterized and applied as a new sorption material for solid phase extraction of nickel in drinking water *** preconcentration procedure,flame atomic absorption spectrometry was used for *** parameters were found to be pH=3.2,contact time=20 min and eluate volume=3 *** limit of detection was found to be 0.75 ng·*** synthesized resin exhibits the superiority in compared to the other adsorption reagents because of the fact that there is no necessity of any complexing reagent,high sorption capacity as well as the relatively fast extraction *** Ni concentrations in the studied 21 kind of water samples were found to be in the range of bDL-4.0 ng·mL-1.

Predicting carbon nanotube forest attributes and mechanical properties using simulated images and deep learning

Understanding and controlling the self-assembly of vertically oriented carbon nanotube(CNT)forests is essential for realizing their potential in myriad *** governing process–structure–property mechanisms are poorly understood,and the processing parameter space is far too vast to exhaustively explore *** overcome these limitations by using a physics-based simulation as a high-throughput virtual laboratory and image-based machine learning to relate CNT forest synthesis attributes to their mechanical *** CNTNet,our image-based deep learning classifier module trained with synthetic imagery,combinations of CNT diameter,density,and population growth rate classes were labeled with an accuracy of>91%.The CNTNet regression module predicted CNT forest stiffness and buckling load properties with a lower root-mean-square error than that of a regression predictor based on CNT physical *** results demonstrate that image-based machine learning trained using only simulated imagery can distinguish subtle CNT forest morphological features to predict physical material properties with high *** paves the way to incorporate scanning electron microscope imagery for high-throughput material discovery.

AIM:To investigate the relationship between reflux and body mass index(bMI) in the asymptomatic obese population using the impedance-p H ***:Gastroesophageal reflux is frequent in the obese ***,the relationship between acid reflux and bMI in asymptomatic obese people is ***-six obese(bMI > 25 kg/m2) people were enrolled in this prospective *** evaluated the demographic findings and 24-h impedance p H values of the whole ***,acid(p H bMI was 30.64±3.95 kg/m2(25.14-45.58 kg/m2).bMI of 23 was over 30 kg/*** patients had a comorbidity(hypertension,diabetes mellitus,or ischemic heart disease).Endoscopic examination revealed esophagitis in 13 of the 28 subjects(10Grade A,3 Grade b).The subjects were divided into two groups according to bMI(30 kg/m2).Demographic and endoscopic findings,and impedance results were similar in these two ***,there was a positive correlation between bMI and total and supine p HbMI in asymptomatic obese individuals.

AIM： To evaluate whether the cytokine responses in liver and serum differ in chronic hepatitis C patients with normal and high alanine aminotransferase （ALT） levels. METHODS： Thirty-three （16 with normal ALT level as group 1 and 17 with elevated ALT level as group 2） patients infected with genotype lb hepatitis C virus （HCV） were examined. Liver infiltrating lymphomononuclear cells （LILMCs） were isolated from liver biopsy by collagenase type 1 and stimulated with phytohemagglutinin and interleukin 2 （IL-2）. IL-10, IL-12, interferon gamma （IFN-γ） and tumor necrosis factor alpha （TNF-α were determined in serum and LILMCs by ELISA. RESULTS： Serum cytokine levels were similar in both groups （P〉0.05）. Stimulated IFN-γ and TNF-α levels in LILMCs were increased in both groups. IL-12 and IL-10 levels stimulated with IL-2 were higher in group 1 than in group 2 （P = 0.023）. Histological activity index （HAI） and stage had a negative correlation with TNF-α and IFN-γ levels in group 2. CONCLUSION： Increased T-helper type 2 （Th2） cytokine response may regress inflammatory and biochemical activity. Progression of histological abnormalities in persons with elevated ALT probably depends on insufficient Th2 cytokine response, which does not balance Th1 cytokine response.
