Multidisciplinary approach to understand the pathogenesis of gastric cancer

Gastric carcinoma remains a common disease worldwide with a dismal prognosis. Therefore, it represents a very important health problem. It occurs with a high incidence in Asia and is one of the leading causes of cancer death in the world. Although the incidence and mortality of gastric carcinoma are decreasing in many countries,gastric cancer still represents the second most frequent malignancies in the world and the fourth in Europe. The 5-year survival rate of gastric carcinoma is low. The etiology and pathogenesis are not yet fully known. The study of gastric cancer is important in clinical medicine as well as in public health. Over the past 15 years,integrated research in molecular pathology has clarified the details of genetic and epigenetic abnormalities of cancer-related genes in the course of the development and progression of gastric cancer. Gastric cancer, as all cancers, is the end result of the interplay of many risk factors as well as protective factors. Although epidemiological evidence indicates that environmental factors play a major role in gastric carcinogenesis, the role of immunological, genetic, and immunogenetic factors are thought to contribute to the pathogenesis of gastric carcinoma. Among the environmental factors,diet and Helicobacter pylori are more amenable to intervention aimed at the prevention of gastric *** aim of the present paper is to review and include the most recent published evidence to demonstrate that only a multidisciplinary approach will lead to the advancement of the pathogenesis and prevention of gastric cancer. On the immunogenetic research it is clear that evidence is accumulating to suggest that a genetic profile favoring the proinflammatory response increases the risk of gastric carcinoma.

The requirements for automotive lighting systems,especially the light patterns ensuring driver perception,are based on criteria related to the headlamps,rather than the light perceived by drivers and road ***,important factors such as pavement reflectance,driver age,or time of night,are largely *** factors such as presence of other vehicles,vehicle speed and weather conditions are considered by the Adaptive Driving Beam(ADB)and Adaptive Front-lighting System(AFS)respectively,though with no information regarding the visual perception of drivers and other road ***,it is simpler to simulate and measure the light emitted by the lamps than the light reflected by the pavement or emitted by other *** the current technology in cameras and light sensors,communication protocols,and control of Light Emitting Diodes(LED),combined with decision-making techniques applied to large amounts of data,can open a new era in the operation of headlamps and thus ensure the visual needs of drivers in real time and under actual road *** solution lies in an interaction road-sensor-headlamp,which is not based on the light emitted by headlamps,but rather on the light perceived by the *** study thus proposes a dual grid based on luminance and luminous intensity,which would manage the headlamps by optimizing driver perception and the safety of all road users.

In the light of a growing need for fracture control of rapid crack propagation (RCP) in gas pipelines, a program PFRAC(Pipeline FRacture Analysis Code) has been developed((1)) to analyse the various events. In this paper, by using PFRAC for the simulation of axial crack propagation in gas pipelines, a number of dynamic analysis issues relating to boundary effects for uncracked and cracked pipes are investigated. This indicates that the boundary conditions along the length of the pipe play an important role for fracture analysis in the pipe. In contrast, the boundary conditions at the ends of a long pipeline have little effect on the dynamic fracture events.

Artificial intelligence(AI)sentience has become an important topic of discourse and inquiry in light of the remarkable progress and capabilities of large language models(LLMs).While others have considered this issue from more philosophical and metaphysical perspectives,we present an alternative set of considerations grounded in sociocultural theory and ***,we focus on sociocultural perspectives on interpersonal relationships,sociolinguistics,and culture to consider whether LLMs are *** examples grounded in quotidian aspects of what it means to be sentient along with examples of AI in science fiction,we describe why LLMs are not sentient and are unlikely to ever be *** present this as a framework to reimagine future AI not as impending forms of sentience but rather a potentially useful tool depending on how it is used and built.

In this paper we define a functional as a difference between the right-hand side and lefthand side of the refined Boas type inequality using the notation of superquadratic and subquadratic functions and study its properties, such as exponential and logarithmic convexity. We also, state and prove improvements and reverses of new weighted Boas type inequalities. As a special case of our result we obtain improvements and reverses of the Hardy inequality and its dual inequality. We introduce new Cauchy type mean and prove monotonicity property of this mean.
