Li_(6)ZnO_(4)was chemically modified by nickel addition,in order to develop different compositions of the solid solution Li_(6)Zn_(1-x)Ni_(x)O_(4).These materials were evaluated bifunctionally;analyzing their CO_(2)capture performances,aswell as on their catalytic properties for H_(2)production via dry reforming of methane(DRM).The crystal structures of Li_(6)Zn_(1-x)Ni_(x)O_(4)solid solution samples were determined through X-ray diffraction,which confirmed the integration of nickel ions up to a concentration around 20 mol%,meanwhile beyond this value,a secondary phase was *** results were supported by XPS and TEM ***,dynamic and isothermal thermogravimetric analyses of CO_(2)capture revealed that Li_(6)Zn_(1-x)Ni_(x)O_(4)solid solution samples exhibited good CO_(2)chemisorption efficiencies,similarly to the pristine Li_(6)ZnO_(4)chemisorption trends ***,a kinetic analysis of CO_(2)isothermal chemisorptions,using the Avrami-Erofeev model,evidenced an increment of the constant rates as a function of the Ni *** Ni^(2+)ions incorporation did not reduce the CO_(2)capture efficiency and kinetics,the catalytic properties of thesematerialswere evaluated in the DRM *** demonstrated that nickel ions favored hydrogen(H_(2))production over the pristine Li_(6)ZnO_(4)phase,despite a second H2 production reaction was determined,methane ***,Li_(6)Zn_(1-x)Ni_(x)O_(4)ceramics can be employed as bifunctional materials.

Mammal distribution is shaped by different ecological and anthropogenic factors,and the pattern varies depending on their sensitivity thresholds,food and habitat preferences,ecological roles,and physical *** present study investigated the influence of ecological and anthropogenic factors on the distribution of mammal species communities across different trophic levels and body sizes in Myanmar's Htamanthi Wildlife Sanctuary(HWS).The values of mammal characteristics,ecological,and anthropogenic factors were analyzed in ArcMap *** of the large and small sized mammals,whose distribution decreases with elevation,were observed near the main *** mammal tropic levels,the omnivores and herbivores were mostly observed farther from gold mining *** terms of forage plant effect on mammal community,floral forage plants and the presence of climber negatively affected mammal species across different trophic ***,presence of resin trees also has a substantial impact on the distribution of medium-large animals and omnivorous mammals as trophic niche ***,our findings highlight the crucial role that ecological and anthropogenic factors play in shaping mammal distribution in the *** underscores the importance of simultaneously conserving both habitat and mammal diversity in HWS,especially in the face of a changing climate and environment.

Novel biological agents including cytokines and recombinant fusion proteins are increasingly prescribed for cancer,rheumatologic,autoimmune,and inflammatory diseases,and are currently being evaluated in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).They are classified by their mechanism of action and include tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)antagonists,T cell mediated antitumor inhibitors,interleukin receptor antagonists,and immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs).Some ICIs cause frequent hepatotoxicity with a variable clinical,biochemical,and serological presentation,especially in patients receiving another immunomodulatory *** of the cases of liver damage induced by biological agents spontaneously regress after drug withdrawal,but the others require steroid ***,there are no widely accepted recommendation for the use of corticosteroids in these patients,even though international cancer societies have their own *** drug-induced autoimmune hepatitis(DIAIH)from classic AIH is challenging for pathologists,but liver biopsy is valuable,particularly in cases with unclear clinical ***,novel histological patterns have been described in liver damage induced by these agents(i.e.,endothelitis,ring granuloma and secundary sclerosing cholangitis associated with lymphocytic infiltration of cytotoxic CD8+T cells).Here,we describe the clinical and biochemical characteristics of patients with hepatotoxicity induced by TNF-αantagonists and *** issues involved in the administration of corticosteroid therapy,and hepatitis B virus(HBV)reactivation induced by immunosuppressive therapy are also discussed.

Chemical oxygen demand reduction in coffee wastewater through chemical flocculation and advanced oxidation processes

The removal of the natural organic matter present in coffee processing wastewater through chemical coagulation-flocculation and advanced oxidation processes （AOP） had been studied. The effectiveness of the removal of natural organic matter using commercial flocculants and UV/H202, UV/O3 and UV/H2O2/O3 processes was determined under acidic conditions. For each of these processes, different operational conditions were explored to optimize the treatment efficiency of the coffee wastewater. Coffee wastewater is characterized by a high chemical oxygen demand （COD） and low total suspended solids. The outcomes of coffee wastewater treatment using coagulation-flocculation and photodegradation processes were assessed in terms of reduction of COD, color, and turbidity. It was found that a reduction in COD of 67% could be realized when the coffee wastewater was treated by chemical coagulation-flocculation with lime and coagulant T-1. When coffee wastewater was treated by coagulation-flocculation in combination with UV/H2O2, a COD reduction of 86% was achieved, although only after prolonged UV irradiation. Of the three advanced oxidation processes considered, UV/H2O2, UV/O3 and UV/H2O2/O3, we found that the treatment with UV/H2O2/O3 was the most effective, with an efficiency of color, turbidity and further COD removal of 87%, when applied to the flocculated coffee wastewater.

Road construction in Africa is faced with a shortage of quality materials, leading to delays and increased costs. Traditional materials, such as clay soils of the bar soil type, have inadequate properties for pavement sub-base layers, particularly in terms of bearing capacity. This study explores a composite material combining bar soil and bamboo fibers to improve the mechanical performance of bar soil, offering a sustainable and cost-effective solution. The Tori-Bossito bar soil was characterised by particle size analysis, Atterberg limits, Proctor compaction tests and the California Bearing Ratio (CBR). The results show that this material is a class A2 sandy-clay soil with a CBR of 18, which is insufficient for foundation layers requiring a CBR of over 30. To improve its performance, Sèmè-Kpodji bamboo fibers, 30 to 100 microns in diameter and 3 to 5 cm long, were incorporated at rates of 0.9% to 2.7%. The optimum mix, with 2.4% fiber, has a CBR of 35, a dry density of 1.92 t/m3 and a moisture content of 12.4%. This reinforced material is suitable as a base course for low-traffic roadways.

A valuable number of works has been published about Hurwitz and Schur polynomials in order to known better their properties. For example it is known that the sets of Hurwitz and Schur polynomials are open and no convex sets. Besides, the set of monic Schur polynomials is contractible. Now we study this set using ideas from differential topology, and we prove that the space of Schur complex polynomials with positive leading coefficient, and the space of Hurwitz complex polynomials which leading coefficient having positive real part, have structure of trivial vector bundle, and each space of （Schur complex and real, Hurwitz complex） polynomials has a differential structure diffeomorphic to some known spaces.
