Let K be a 2-torsion free ring with identity and Rn(K, J) be the ring of all n × n matrices over K such that the entries on and above the main diagonal are elements of an ideal J of K. We describe all Jordan derivations of the matrix ring Rn(K, J) in this paper. The main result states that every Jordan derivation △ of Rn(K, J) is of the form △= D +Ω, where D is a derivation of Rn(K, J) and Ω is an extremal Jordan derivation of Rn(K, J).

Hydroxyapatite(HA) co-doped with Zn2+ tand F- ions was synthesized by precipitation method for the first time in this *** spectroscopy revealed Zn2+ tand F ions incorporation into HA ***-doping of Zn2+ tand F- ions decreased unit cell volume of HA and decreased grain ***2+ tor 5 mol% F addition into HA significantly improved its *** was increased with Zn2+ taddition and further increase was detected with F ***2+ tand F co-doped samples had higher fracture toughness than pure ***2+ tincorporation to the structure resulted in an increase in cell proliferation and ALP activity of cells,and further increase was observed with 1 mol%F *** superior mechanical properties and biological response 2Zn1 F is a good candidate for biomedical applications.

目的:评价我校医学生和她的家庭成员先天色觉障碍的遗传特征,以建立其遗传模式。方法:运用Ishihara(石原)假同色图试验测定色觉障碍,用FW100色调试验评估其类型。并进行眼科检查和遗传学研究,建立色盲家谱,并对她的家庭给予遗传学咨询。结果:眼科检测结果显示双眼最佳矫正视力为20/20(1.0),近视矫正屈光度-2D,裂隙灯检测和眼压测量结果在正常范围,眼底镜检查视神经、黄斑和周边视网膜均正常,其它外眼评估和神经学检测正常,先证者的姐妹和她父母的眼科检测也正常,3姐妹和父亲的IPPT试验错误得分为19～20/25,结果和红绿色盲中绿色觉异常者一致。染色体分析和卵巢周期均正常。结论:根据她家谱,她的色盲是伴X染色体的隐性外显率模式的遗传特征。

·AIM: To investigate the permeability of amniotic membrane in herpes virus cell culture to acyclovir with real time polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).·METHODS: Madin-Darby Bovine Kidney(MDBK) cell culture and Bovine Herpes Virus(BHV1) type 1 were used in the study. Cell cultures were grouped into two on the basis of herpes virus inoculation. Each group was sub-grouped into three. Amniotic membrane(V-HAM),acyclovir(V-A), and amniotic membrane and acyclovir(V-HAM-A) were applied to these subgroup cultures,respectively. After the application of the membrane and the drug, the cultures were evaluated at 24 and 48 h for cytopathic effect positive(CPE +) with a tissue culture microscope. In the CPE(+) samples, the DNA was extracted for viral DNA analysis by RT-PCR.·RESULTS: In control cultures without herpes virus CPE was not detected. Besides, amniotic membrane and acyclovir did not have cytotoxic effect on cell *** were detected in Bovine Herpesvirus type-1inoculated cell cultures after amniotic membrane and/or acyclovir application. DNA analysis with RT-PCR indicated that Cycle threshold(Ct) values were lower in the BHV1 and membrane applied group(amniotic membrane group < acyclovir group < membrane and acyclovir group). This showed that membrane did not have antiviral effect. The membrane and acyclovir cell culture groups with high Ct values indicated thatmembrane was permeable and had a low barrier effect to drug.·CONCLUSION: In our in-vitro study, we found that amniotic membrane, which can be used in the treatment of corneal diseases, did not have antiviral effect. Besides,we detected that amniotic membrane was permeable to acyclovir in BHV-1 inoculated MDBK cell ***, more studies are necessary to investigate the quantitative effects of amniotic membrane and acyclovir.

BACKGROUND Neurogenic tumors are rare but represent an important consideration in the differential diagnosis of abdominal mesenchymal *** on their incidence,pathological features and clinical characteristics are *** To advance the overall knowledge on the histologic,immunohistochemical,clinical and radiologic characteristics of neurogenic tumors through this case *** An established database of a nationwide tertiary referral center,covering a 15-year period(2005 and 2020),was retrospectively *** of neurogenic tumor cases were confirmed by two experts following review of the macroscopic,histological and immunohistochemical records along with findings from analysis of archived tissue sections for each included *** microarrays were constructed for cases lacking necessary immunohistochemical *** data and follow-up information were collected from the hospital records and the patients themselves,when *** The study included 19 cases of intraabdominal neurogenic tumors,representing 12 women and 7 men, between 18 and 86 years of age (median: 51 years). Finalconfirmed diagnoses were 12 schwannomas, 2 diffuse submucosal neurofibromatoses,2 ganglioneuromas, 2 malignant peripheral sheath nerve tumors,and 1 mucosal Schwann cell hamartoma. Sizes of the tumors were variable, with amedian diameter of 4 cm;the two largest (> 10 cm) were schwannomas. Themajority of cases were asymptomatic at presentation, but the most frequentsymptom was abdominal pain. Gastrointestinal tract lesions were detected withendoscopy and extra-luminal lesions were detected with cross-sectional *** cases were S100-positive and CD117-negative;most cases were negative fordesmin, epithelial membrane antigen, smooth muscle actin and CD34. Newly designed miktoarm star-shaped copolymers made of poly[(benzyl methacrylate(BMA)-co-(ε-caprolacton)(CL)] and poly[(BMA-b-MMA-b-BMA)-co-ε-caprolacton)(CL)] were synthesized by combining ring-opening polymerization (ROP) of ε-caprolactone (CL) and poly(BMA) five membered lacton fuctionalized prepared via atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of BMA, and ε-CL and P(BMA-b-MMA-b-BMA) dual functionalized diblock copolymer, in the presence of tin(II) bis(2-ethylhexanoate) (Sn(Oct)2). Although lactone ended poly(benzyl methacrylate) with ε-caprolactone monomer gave ring open polymerization by Sn(Oct)2, the macromonomer itself did not give any poly- merization The macromonomers, and the miktoarm star-shaped copolymers were analyzed by FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopies and GPC (gel permeation chromatograph), Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC-50) and termo- gravimetric analysis (TGA-50). These copolymers exhibited the expected structure. The crystallization of star-shaped copolymers was studied by DSC. The results show that when the content of the BMA block increased, the Tm of the star-shaped block copolymer increased.

Small bowel volvulus as a complication of von Recklinghausen's disease:A case report

We report the case of a 25-year-old male with Neurofibromatosis type I (NF-1), who presented at the time of admission with clinical findings of an acute abdomen caused by a mechanical obstruction. Computerized tomography showed a volvulus of the terminal ileum with mesenteric swirling as the cause of the patient’s symptoms. Consecutive exploratory laparotomy confirmed the diagnosis and 70 cm of the small intestine was resected due to an affection of the mesentery by multiple neurofibromas. The gastrointestinal tract is affected in approximately 10% of patients with NF-1, however the mesentery is almost always spared. Here we describe the unique case of a patient with a volvulus caused by mesenteric manifestation of von Recklinghausen’s disease, emphasizing the role of surgery in a team of multidisciplinary specialists to treat this multiorganic disease.

AIM:To investigate the healing process after severe corneal epithelial damage in rats treated with mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)cultured with or without keratinocyte growth factor(KGF-2)and autologous serum(AS)on amniotic membrane(AM).Many patients are blind and devastated by severe ocular surface diseases due to limbal stem cell *** marrow-derived MSCs are potential sources for cellbased tissue engineering to repair or replace the corneal tissue,having the potential to differentiate to epithelial ***:The study included 5 groups each including 10 female'Sprague Dawley'rats in addition to20 male rats used as bone marrow *** I rats received AM+MSCs,Group II rats AM+MSCs cultured with KGF-2,Group III rats AM+MSCs cultured with KGF-2+AS,Group IV rats only AM and Group V rats,*** was derived from blood drawn from male rats and bone marrow was obtained from the femur and tibia bones of the same *** effect was evaluated with clinical,histopathological and immunohistochemical *** engraftment was demonstrated via detection of donor genotype(Y+)in the recipient tissue(X)with polymerase chain ***:Corneal healing was significantly better in Groups I-III rats treated with MSC transplantation compared to Group IV and Group V rats with supportive treatment *** best results were obtained in Group III rats with 90%transparency,70%lack of neovascularization,and 100%epithelium damage limited to less than 1/4 of ***:We suggest that culture of MSCs with KGF-2 and AS on AM is effective in corneal repair in case of irreversible damage to limbal stem cells.

Gallbladder function and dynamics of bile flow in asymptomatic gallstone disease

AIM： To investigate the effects of gallbladder stones on motor functions of the gallbladder and the dynamics of bile flow in asymptomatic gallstone disease. METHODS： Quantitative hepatobiliary scintigraphy was performed to detect the parameters of gallbladder motor function [gallbladder ejection fraction （GBEF）, gallbladder visualization time （GBVT）, gallbladder time to peak activity （GBTmax）, gallbladder half emptying time （GBT1/2）, and transit time of bile to duodenum （TTBD）] in 24 patients with asymptomatic cholelithiasis who were diagnosed incidentally during routine abdominal ultrasonographic examination and 20 healthy subjects with normal gallbladder. RESULTS： Even though there was no significant difference in the clinical and laboratory parameters between the patient and control groups, all parameters of gallbladder function except TTBD were found to differ significantly between the two groups. GBEF in the patient group was decreased （P = 0.000） and GBVT, GBT GBT1/2 in the patient group were longer （P = 0.000, P = 0.015, P = 0.001, respectively）.there were not any clinical and laboratory findings, gallbladder filling and emptying could be impaired in patients with gallstone disease.
