In current study,the influence of magnetic field(mHD)on heat transfer of natural convection boundary layer flow in Casson ternary hybrid nanofluid past a stretching sheet is studied using numerical *** Newtonian heating boundary conditions that depend on the temperature and velocity terms are taken into this *** particular dimensional governing equations,for the studied problem,are converted to the system of partial differential equations utilizing adequate similarity ***,the system of equations is numerically solved using well-known Kellar box numerical *** obtained numerical results are in excellent approval with previous literature *** existence of types for composite ternary nanoparticles,which as alumina al2O3,copper oxide CuO,and silver Ag or copper Cu,as well as water H2O which is considered an essential fluid,are *** physical features,such as temperature,velocity,local skin friction coefficient,and local Nusselt number are explored with the variation of mHD Casson ternary hybrid nanofluids parameters and displayed graphically and tabularly in the present *** numerical outcomes exhibit that when the conjugate parameter values rise,the temperature and local Nusselt number increase,however they decrease as the Casson parameter is reduced.

A Participatory GIS Approach to Identify Critical Land Degradation Areas and Prioritize Soil Conservation for mountainous Olive Groves(Case Study)

Climate change scenarios predict an increase in the frequency of heavy rainfall events in some areas. This will increase runoff and soil erosion, and reduce agricultural productivity, particularly on vulnerable mountainous agricultural lands that is already exhibiting high rates of soil erosion. Haphazard implementation of soil and water conservation （SWC） interventions on scattered fields is inefficient in reducing soil erosion. The objective of this study was to identify areas at high risk of erosion to aid the design and implementation of sustainable SWC using GIS analysis and farmers＇ participation approach. A 25 m digital elevation model （DEm） was used to derive layers of flow accumulation, slope steepness and land curvature, which were used to derive an erosion-risk （priority） map for the whole watershed. Boundaries of farmers＇ fields were mapped and verified by the community and each field was classified into high, moderate or low erosion risk. Fields with low flow accumulation （top of hill） and/or steep slope and/or convex slope were assigned high erosion risk and therefore high implementation priority. The study showed that more than 54% of the fields were classified into high erosion risk areas. Accordingly, a community-watershed plan was established, revised and approved by the *** loans to implement SWC measures were distributed to 100 farmers based on the priorities of their fields. Judged by local farmers and using 16 randomly selected fields, 90% of the targeted areas were correctly identified using the erosion risk map. After two years, the conservation measures had led to marked improvement of soil conservation. The approach is simple and easy to comprehend by the community and provides scientific basis to prioritize the implementation of SWC and to target the most degraded areas, which amplify the impact of these in reducing the vulnerability to land degradation.

Wind tunnel test and numerical simulation of wind pressure on a high-rise building

We carried out a wind tunnel test to measure cladding loads for a high-rise building of 295 m in height, which would be located in the business center of Chongqing municipality, P. R. China. The rigid model was used to determine fluctuating local pressures on the exterior surfaces of the building. The wind tunnel test results show the cr/tical zone of wind pressures on building surfaces in both standalone and interference conditions. The computational fluid dynamics （CFD） was conducted by using the FLUENT Code to compare with the wind tunnel test results, and the steady three-dimensional turbulent flow with Realizable k-ε as a turbulence model was used. The CFD results are agree with the wind tunnel test results in regards to distributions of wind pressures over a high-rise building＇s surfaces.

The spatial distribution of surface and subsurface soil attributes is an important input to environmental *** attributes represent an important input to the Soil and Water Assessment Tool(SWAT),which influence the accuracy of the modeling *** ArcGIS-based tool was developed to predict soil attributes and provide inputs to *** essential inputs are digital elevation model and field *** soil data/maps can be used to derive observations when recent field surveys are not *** layers,such as satellite images and auxiliary data,improve the prediction *** model contains a series of steps(menus)to facilitate iterative *** steps are summarized in deriving many terrain attributes to characterize each pixel based on local attributes as well as the characteristics of the contributing *** model then subdivides the entire watershed into smaller facets(subdivisions of subwatersheds)and classifies these into groups.A linear regression model to predict soil attributes from terrain attributes and auxiliary data are established for each class and implemented to predict soil attributes for each pixel within the class and then merged for the entire watershed or study ***(Soil-Landscape Estimation and Evaluation Program)utilizes Pedo-transfer functions to provide the spatial distribution of the necessary unmapped soil data needed for SWAT *** application of the tool demonstrated acceptable accuracy and better spatial distribution of soil attributes compared with two spatial interpolation *** analysis indicated low sensitivity of SWAT prediction to the number of field observations when SLEEP is used to provide the soil *** demonstrates the potential of SLEEP to support SWAT modeling where soil data is scarce.

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is a complex and comprehensive software that integrates various enterprise’s functions and resources. ERP system cleanly encapsulates crosscutting concerns which cannot be encapsulated by other types of information systems like data synchronization and standardization, system complexity and system modularity. many studies are conducted to propose software quality models with their quality characteristics. However, there is currently no dedicated software quality model that can describe and involve new features of ERP systems. Thus, this study has proposed an ERP system quality model (ERPSQm). Analytic Hierarchy Process AHP has been employed to evaluate the quality of ERPSQm. Furthermore, this proposed model can be used to make a comparison of ERP systems to help companies implement better systems.

在4m×3m边界层风洞中对某高295m的超高层建筑分别进行了有、无周边建筑的刚性模型测力天平试验,得到建筑3个主轴方向基底力矩均值和均方根值随风向角的变化情况,通过比较表明周边超高层建筑对其具有较严重的干扰影响;分析了功率谱和相干函数所表现出的力矩频域特性,横-扭方向基底弯矩相关性明显较顺-横、顺-扭两向大;通过敲击试验得到基底弯矩的自由衰减信号,采用HHT变换方法,识别了模型-天平系统在两个主轴方向的一阶频率和阻尼比,并根据频率和阻尼比消除了基底弯矩信号中由于模型非绝对刚性引起的共振响应分量,由此修正得到较为精确的基底力谱和各角度均方根值,为计算风振响应提供了依据。

New Synchronization algorithm Based on Delta Synchronization for Compressed Files in the mobile Cloud Environment

The fast growing market of mobile device adoption and cloud computing has led to exploitation of mobile devices utilizing cloud services. One major chal-lenge facing the usage of mobile devices in the cloud environment is mobile synchronization to the cloud, e.g., synchronizing contacts, text messages, imag-es, and videos. Owing to the expected high volume of traffic and high time complexity required for synchronization, an appropriate synchronization algo-rithm needs to be developed. Delta synchronization is one method of synchro-nizing compressed files that requires uploading the whole file, even when no changes were made or if it was only partially changed. In the present study, we proposed an algorithm, based on Delta synchronization, to solve the problem of synchronizing compressed files under various forms of modification (e.g., not modified, partially modified, or completely modified). To measure the effi-ciency of our proposed algorithm, we compared it to the Dropbox application algorithm. The results demonstrated that our algorithm outperformed the regular Dropbox synchronization mechanism by reducing the synchronization time, cost, and traffic load between clients and the cloud service provider.

Fractional Yield, Extract Composition and Variability from Jordanian Oil Shales

Surface and subsurface oil shale (OS) rocks in Jordan have potential economic value for the country and still unutilized. This research paper focuses on central and southern OS deposits in Jordan. Brief characterization of four OS deposits is presented. Size distribution test and elemental analysis were performed. Shale oil was extracted via three solvation methods: Soxhlet extraction, extraction via mixing and stirring, and lastly super-critical fluid extraction. major shale oil fractions were obtained from extract fractionation on chromatographic column. The nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy technique was used to study qualitatively the fractional composition of OS extract. Results show that all studied OS deposits have quite similar trend in their particle size distribution and their elemental composition. These OS deposits are found to be varying in their solvation behavior, fractional yield, and shale oil composition. Highest yield is obtained from polar solvents. The OS extraction via solvation processes is promising under certain extraction conditions such as super-critical conditions. The solvation variability of Jordanian OS indicates that different extraction techniques suit different OS deposits. Such variability should be considered in any future extraction options.

Background:Adolescence is a critical,multifactorial developmental *** the current pandemic of COVID-19,excessive using of electronic devices is a public health *** aim of this study is to investigate the relation-ship between depression and the use of electronic devices among secondary school children in Jazan,Saudi Arabia during the COVID-19 *** and methods:The study is an observational,cross-sectional *** was collected using an anonymous online survey *** the Depression Anxiety Stress ***:A total of 427 participants were included in the *** prevalence of depression,anxiety,and stress in our study was 14.55%,12.01%,and 15.55%,*** the hours spent on electronic devices,13.6%of participants spent 1–4 h,43.6%spent 5–9 h,and 42.9%spent 10 h or more.86.7%reported an increase in their use of electronic devices during *** regression analysis revealed that the increase of Videogame Addiction Scale for Chil-dren is signiﬁcantly associated with an increase in Depression,Anxiety,and Stress scores(p-valueall).Conclusion:Electronic device use is a challenging issue among Saudi adolescents,and it has been associated with a negative impact on participants’mental *** study found a positive correlation between electronic device use and increased prevalence of mental health *** also found signiﬁcantly increased use of electronic device during the COVID-19 lockdown;hence,more mental issues were *** is obvious that electronic device use needs to be more controlled among *** can be achieved by involving those who are in this age group in other activities,like sports,which can reduce the time they spend on electronic device.

Analysis of Selected Oil Shale Samples from El-Lajjun, Central Jordan

The centralJordanpart is rich in bituminous rocks that are known locally as oil shale (OS). These rocks were formed during the maastrichtian-Palaeocene time. They belong to the muwaqqar Chalkmarlformation (mCm). El-Lajjun OS deposit is located in relatively thinly populated area. This study presents the results of mineralogical, petrographical and geochemical analyses that are performed on selected surface outcrop oil shale samples from El-Lajjun area in central Jordan. Results show that El-Lajjun OS deposit is considered as a good source of OS resources since its organic matter is quite significant. The bulk rock material is made of carbonate.
