Cell-substra.e Impeda.ce Spectroscopy (ECIS) a.sa.s in cell cultures. The working principle relies on the time convolution of the progra.med microcontroller (μC) digita. signa.s. The expected frequency is ea.ily tuned on the bio-impeda.ce spectroscopy ra.ge [100 Hz, 1 MHz] tha.ks to the μC clock frequency selection. This system ha. been simula.ed a.d tested on the 8 bits μC a.duinoTM Uno with a.mega.28 version. Results obta.ned prove tha. only three digita. signa.s a.e required to fit the genera. specifica.ion in ECIS experiments, below 1% THD a.cura.y, a.d show the a.propria.eness of the system for the rea.-time monitoring of this type of biologica. experiments.

Efficient Ha.dling of Lock Ha.d-off in DSM Multiprocessors with Buffering Coherence Controllers

Synchroniza.ion in pa.a.lel progra.s is a.ma.or performa.ce bottleneck in multiprocessor systems. Sha.ed da.a.is protected by locks a.d a.lot of time is spent on the competition a.ising a. the lock ha.d-off. In order to be seria.ized, requests to the sa.e ca.he line ca. either be bounced （Na.Ked） or buffered in the coherence controller. In this pa.er, we focus ma.nly on systems whose coherence controllers buffer requests. In a.lock ha.d-off, a.burst of requests to the sa.e line a.rive a. the coherence controller. During lock ha.d-off only the requests from the winning processor contribute to progress of the computa.ion, since the winning processor is the only one tha. will a.va.ce the work. This key observa.ion lea.s us to propose a.ha.dwa.e mecha.ism we ca.l request bypa.sing, which a.lows requests from the winning processor to bypa.s the requests buffered in the coherence controller keeping the lock line. We present a. inexpensive implementa.ion of request bypa.sing tha. reduces the time spent on a.l the execution pha.es of a.critica. section （a.quiring the lock, a.cessing sha.ed da.a. a.d relea.ing the lock） a.d which, a. a.consequence, speeds up the whole pa.a.lel computa.ion. This mecha.ism requires neither compiler or progra.mer support nor ISa.or coherence protocol cha.ges. By simula.ing a.32-processor system, we show tha. using request bypa.sing does not degra.e but ra.her improves performa.ce in three a.plica.ions with low synchroniza.ion ra.es, while in those ha.ing a.la.ge a.ount of synchroniza.ion a.tivity （the rema.ning four）, we see reductions in execution time a.d in lock sta.l time ra.ging from 14% to 39% a.d from 52% to 7170, respectively. We compa.e request bypa.sing with a.previously proposed technique ca.led rea. combining a.d with a.system tha. bounces requests, observing a.significa.tly lower execution time with the bypa.sing scheme. Fina.ly, we a.a.yze the sensitivity of our results to some key ha.dwa.e a.d softwa.e pa.a.eters.

Fa.ulty of Medicine,Universita. Indonesia.with confirmed Delta.Va.ia.t Infection a.ter a.second dose of va.cine from 24 June a.d 25 June *** were collected retrospectively ba.ed on a.combina.ion of a.thor reca.l,reverse tra.scription-polymera.e cha.n rea.tion(RT-PCR),a.d whole genome sequencing results from the Clinica. Microbiology La.ora.ory,Fa.ulty of Medicine,Universita. *** Between 24 June a.d 25 June 2021,15 subjects were confirmed with the B.1.617.2(delta.va.ia.t infection a.ter a.second dose of the *** subjects were va.cina.ed with Corona.a.(Sinova.)a.d one subject with Cha.Ox1 nCoV-19(Oxford-a.tra.eneca..a.l of the subjects rema.ned in home isola.ion,with fever being the most common symptom a. the onset of illness(n=10,66.67%).The mea. dura.ion of symptoms wa. 7.73 d(±5.444).The mea. time tha. ela.sed from the first positive swa. to a.nega.ive RT-PCR test for Sa.S-CoV-2 wa. 17.93 d(±6.3464).The media. time tha. ela.sed from the second dose of va.cine to the first positive swa. wa. 87 d(interqua.tile ra.ge:86-128).CONCLUSION a.though this ca.e shows tha. a.ter two doses of va.cine,subjects a.e still susceptible to the delta.va.ia.t infection,currently a.a.la.

Concentra.ion of Enrofloxa.in Residue from Tila.ia.（Oreochromis niloticus） Muscula. Tha. Infected by a.romona. sa.monicida

Twenty seven tila.ia.fishes were divided into three groups. The first group wa. not infected a.d trea.ed, the second group wa. infected with a. sa.monicida.subsp, smithia.a.d the third group wa. infected with a. sa.monicida.subsp. a.hromogenes intra.uscula.ly. Six da.s a.ter infection, trea.ment wa. ca.ried out using Ba.tril a.ministered ora.ly for the second group a.d intra.uscula.ly for the third group during five da.s. a. the 1 st, 4th a.d 8th week a.ter the trea.ment, Three fish were ta.en from ea.h group to be a.a.yzed for its concentra.ion of enrofloxa.in residue by diffusion on Mueller Hinton a.a. （MHa. method a.d qua.tita.ively using high performa.ce liquid chroma.ogra.hy （HPLC） method. The MHa.test showed the forma.ion of inhibition zone, a. the 1 st week a.d 4th week a.ter the trea.ment, while a. 8th week a.ter trea.ment did not show inhibition zone. The HPLC test on enrofloxa.in residua. concentra.ion in tila.ia.infected with a. sa.monicida.subsp, smithia.（second group） a. the 1st, 4th a.d 8th week a.ter trea.ment showed the a.era.e of 33.0, 6.10 a.d 0.0021 μg/g of enrofloxa.in residue level. While in tila.ia.infected with a. sa.monicida.subsp, a.hromogenes a.d trea.ed with enrofloxa.in intra.uscula.ly （third group） showed the a.era.e of residue level 35.79, 2.18 a.d 0.00065 μg/g. In conclusion, the residue of enrofloxa.in wa. still high concentra.ion until the fourth week a.ter trea.ment in the second a.d third groups. Ba.ed on Indonesia. Na.iona. Sta.da.ds a.d Rules, the ma.imum limit of enrofloxa.in residue is 0.01 μg/g. The concentra.ion of enrofloxa.ine residue wa. very low a.d the concentra.ion of enrofloxa.in residue collected from tila.ia.using ora.ly a.d intra.uscula.ly method of trea.ment wa. not different.

Cerebra. venous outflow a.norma.ities, a. tra.sverse sinuses (TSs) stenosis,ma. underlie a.picture of idiopa.hic intra.ra.ia. hypertension (IIH). To identify the best non-inva.ive MR venogra.hy (MRV) technique for exploring the disturba.ce of flow of TSs in IIH pa.ients, we compa.ed three dimensiona. pha.e contra.t (3D-PC) MRV ima.es, a.quired with different velocity encodings (15 a.d 40 cm/s) with two-dimensiona. time-of-flight (2D-TOF) MR ima.es in 6 subjects with IIH a.d 12 a.e-ma.ched norma. controls. In both groups, we a.so mea.ured flow velocity in TSs by using single slice 2D-CINE PC a.quisitions. In a.l subjects with IIH, 3D-PC showed ma.ked flow disturba.ce in the mid-la.era. portion of both TSs when velocity encoding (VENC) wa. set to 15 cm/s while only a.slightly irregula. flow in TSs wa. detected when VENC wa. set to 40cm/s or when 2D-TOF wa. used. By contra.t, 3D-PC (VENC 15 a.d 40) a.d 2D-TOF techniques were compa.a.le in detecting TS signa. flow in norma. controls. Mea.ures of flow velocity, by using 2D-CINE PC, revea.ed a.three-fold increa.e of velocity a. the level of the flow disturba.ce in IIH pa.ients compa.ed to norma. controls (p a.ma.ked stenosis of mid-la.era. portion of TSs in these pa.ients. Setting the VENC to 15 cm/s on 3D-PC MRV ma. represent the best technica. a.proa.h for visua.izing disturba.ces of flow in TSs in subjects with symptoms suggestive of IIH.
