The transcription factor forkhead box protein A2(FOXA2, also known as hepatocyte nuclear factor 3β or transcription factor 3β), has been found to play pivotal roles in multiple phases of mammalian life, from the early development to the organofaction, and subsequently in homeostasis and metabolism in the adult. In the embryonic development period, FOXA2 is require d for the formation of the primitive node and notochord, and its absence results in embryonic lethality. Moreover, FOXA2 plays an important role not only in lung development, but also in T helper type 2(Th2)-mediated pulmonary inflammation and goblet cell hyperplasia. In this article, the role of FOXA2 in lung development and Th2-mediated pulmonary inflammation, as well as in goblet cell hyperplasia, is reviewed. FOXA2 deletion in airway epithelium results into Th2-mediated pulmonary inflammation and goblet cell hyperplasia in developing lung. Leukotriene pathway and signal transducers and activators of transcription 6 pathway may mediate this inflammation through recruitment and activation of denditric cell during lung developments. FOXA2 is a potential treatment target for lung diseases with Th2 inflammation and goblet cell hyperplasia, such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

A scheme based on irregular V-shaped silicon nanoantennas is proposed to optimize transverse unidirectional scattering under plane wave irradiation. Traditional methods of designing regular shapes offer fewer parameters and higher search efficiency. However, due to the limitations of regular shapes, it is challenging to meet high-precision design requirements. Irregular shape design allows for a broader range of adjustments, but the complexity of shape parameters leads to lower search efficiency and a higher likelihood of converging to local optima.

Herein,a first-principles investigation was innovatively conducted to research the surface oxidation of ZnS-like sphalerite in the absence and presence of H_(2)O .The findings showed that single O_(2) was preferred to be dissociated adsorption on sphalerite surface by generating SAO and Zn AO bonds,and the S atom on the surface was the most energy-supported site for O_(2) adsorption,on which a≡Zn-O-S-O-Zn≡structure will be ***,dissociated adsorption of single H_(2)O will not *** was preferred to be adsorbed on the top Zn atom on sphalerite surface in molecular form through Zn-O ***,sphalerite oxidation can occur as if O_(2) was present regardless of the presence of H_(2)O ,and when H_(2)O and O_(2) coexisted,the formation of sulfur oxide(SO_(2) )needed a lower energy barrier and it was easier to form on sphalerite surface than that only O_(2) *** the absence of H_(2)O ,when SO_(2) was generated,further oxidation of which would form neutral zinc *** the presence of H_(2)O ,the formation of SO_(2) on sphalerite surface was easier and the rate of further oxidation to form sulfate was also ***,the occurrence of sphalerite oxidation was accelerated.

By combining experimental α-decay energies and half-lives, the α-particle preformation factor for nuclei around neutron magic numbers N of 126, 152, and 162 were extracted using the two-potential approach. The nuclei around the shell closure were more tightly bound than adjacent nuclei. Additionally, based on the WS4 mass model (Wang et al., Phys. Lett.B 734, 215 (2014)), we extended the two-potential approach to predict the α-decay half-lives of nuclei around N values of178 and 184 with Z of 119 and 120. We believe that our findings will serve as guidelines for future experimental studies.

Improving the surface atoms utilization efficiency of catalysts is extremely important for large-scale H2production by electrochemical water splitting,but it remains a great ***,we reported two kinds of Mo O3-polyoxometalate hybrid nanobelt superstructures (MoO3-POM HNSs,POM=PW12O40and Si W12O40) using a simple hydrothermal *** superstructure with highly uniform nanoparticles as building blocks can expose more surface atoms and emanate increased specific surface *** incorporated POMs generated abundant oxygen vacancies,improved the electronic mobility,and modulated the surface electronic structure of MoO3,allowing to optimize the H*adsorption/desorption and dehydrogenation kinetics of ***,the as-prepared MoO3-PW12O40HNSs electrodes not only displayed the low overpotentials of 108 mV at 10 mA/cm2current density in 0.5 mol/L H2SO4electrolyte but also displayed excellent long-term *** hydrogen evolution reaction （HER） performance of MoO3-POM superstructures is significantly better than that of corresponding bulk materials MoO3@PW12O40and Mo O3@Si W12O40,and the overpotentials are about 8.3 and 4.9 times lower than that of single Mo *** work opens an avenue for designing highly surface-exposed catalysts for electrocatalytic H2production and other electrochemical applications.

Self-supervised graph representation learning has recently shown considerable promise in a range of fields, including bioinformatics and social networks. A large number of graph contrastive learning approaches have shown promising performance for representation learning on graphs, which train models by maximizing agreement between original graphs and their augmented views(i.e., positive views). Unfortunately, these methods usually involve pre-defined augmentation strategies based on the knowledge of human experts. Moreover, these strategies may fail to generate challenging positive views to provide sufficient supervision signals. In this paper, we present a novel approach named graph pooling contrast(GPS) to address these *** by the fact that graph pooling can adaptively coarsen the graph with the removal of redundancy, we rethink graph pooling and leverage it to automatically generate multi-scale positive views with varying emphasis on providing challenging positives and preserving semantics, i.e., strongly-augmented view and weakly-augmented view. Then, we incorporate both views into a joint contrastive learning framework with similarity learning and consistency learning, where our pooling module is adversarially trained with respect to the encoder for adversarial robustness. Experiments on twelve datasets on both graph classification and transfer learning tasks verify the superiority of the proposed method over its counterparts.
