High-performance omnidirectional self-powered photodetector constructed by CsSnBr_(3)/ITO heterostructure film

Omnidirectional photodetectors attract enormous attention due to their prominent roles in optical tracking systems and omnidirectional cameras.However,it is still a challenge for the construction of high-performance omnidirectional photodetectors where the incident light can be effectively absorbed in multiple directions and the photo-generated carriers can be effectively collected.Here,a high-performance omnidirectional self-powered photodetector based on the CsSnBr_(3)/indium tin oxide(ITO)heterostructure film was designed and demonstrated.The as-fabricated photodetector exhibited an excellent self-powered photodetection performance,showing responsivity and detectivity up to 35.1 mA/W and 1.82×10^(10) Jones,respectively,along with the smart rise/decay response time of 4 ms/9 ms.Benefitting from the excellent photoelectric properties of the CsSnBr_(3) film as well as the ability of the CsSnBr_(3)/ITO heterostructure to efficiently separate and collect photo-generated carriers,the as-fabricated photodetector also exhibited an excellent omnidirectional self-powered photodetection performance.All the results have certified that this work finds an efficient way to realize high-performance omnidirectional self-powered photodetectors.

Biodiversity assessments can often be time- and resource-consuming. Several alternative approaches have been proposed to reduce sampling efforts, including indicator taxa and surrogates. In this study, we examine the reliability of higher taxon surrogates to predict species richness in two experimental rice fields of Fujian Province, southeastern China during 2005 and 2009. Spider samples in transgenic and nontransgenie plots were collected using a suction sampler. Both the genus and family surrogates had significant and positive linear relationships with species richness in the transgenic and nontransgenic rice fields. The rice varieties did not significantly influence the linear relationships. Our findings suggest that higher-taxon surrogacy could be a useful alternative to complete species inventory for risk assessments of transgenic rice.

Background:There is currently no standard adjuvant treatment proven to prevent hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)recurrence.Recent studies suggest that postoperative adjuvant transarterial chemoembolization(PA-TACE)is beneficial for patients at high risk of tumor recurrence.However,it is difficult to select the patients.The present study aimed to develop an easy-to-use score to identify these patients.Methods:A total of 4530 patients undergoing liver resection were recruited.Independent risk factors were identified by Cox regression model in the training cohort and the Primary liver cancer big data transarterial chemoembolization(PDTE)scoring system was established.Results:The scoring system was composed of ten risk factors including alpha-fetoprotein(AFP),albuminbilirubin(ALBI)grade,operative bleeding loss,resection margin,tumor capsular,satellite nodules,tumor size and number,and microvascular and macrovascular invasion.Using 5 points as risk stratification,the patients with PA-TACE had higher recurrence-free survival(RFS)compared with non-TACE in>5 points group(P5 points may benefit from PA-TACE.

Organic luminescent materials play an integral role in the optoelectronic applications of displays and solid-state lighting.Nevertheless, high-performance organic luminescent materials require the efficient combination of two or more kinds of materials, which is extremely difficult owing to the completely different self-assembly behaviors of multicomponent molecules.Herein, based on a broad scale from the molecular, micro-/nano-scale, and macroscopic levels, we successfully demonstrate the multiscale construction of organic luminescent microwires of cocrystals, solid solutions, and core-shell microstructures. Through the wide selection of electron donor/acceptor pairs, a series of color-tunable charge-transfer(CT) cocrystals are formed via the intermolecular cooperative self-assembly process. On this basis, the high structural compatibility and perfect lattice mismatching(~1.1%) of cocrystals are critical factors that facilitate the combination of dissimilar materials to form solid solutions and core/shell microwires. Significantly, because of the full-spectrum light transport from 400 to 800 nm, the nano-micro-scaled solid solution microwires act as microscale white-light sources [CIE(0.32, 0.36)]. Meanwhile, the macroscopic-scale core/shell organic-microwires demonstrate tunable white-light emission with a high color-rendering index(CRI) of 83, whose CIE coordinates span from(0.37, 0.39) to(0.40, 0.31). Therefore, our work provides a feasible approach to the multiscale synthesis of novel luminescent organic semiconductor materials, which could lay a solid foundation for organic optoelectronics.

Major elements such as Fe,Ti,Mg,Al,Ca and Si play very important roles in understanding the origin and evolution of the Moon.Previous maps of these major elements derived from orbital data are based on mosaic images or low-resolution gamma-ray data.The hue variations and gaps among orbital boundaries in the mosaic images are not conducive to geological studies.This paper aims to produce seamless and homogenous distribution maps of major elements using the single-exposure image of the whole lunar disk obtained by China’s high-resolution geostationary satellite,Gaofen-4,with a spatial resolution of500 m.The elemental contents of soil samples returned by Apollo and Luna missions are regarded as ground truth,and are correlated with the reflectance of the sampling sites extracted from Gaofen-4 data.The final distribution maps of these major oxides are generated with the statistical regression model.With these products,the average contents and proportions of the major elements for maria and highlands were estimated and compared.The results showed that Si O2 and Ti O2 have the highest and lowest fractions in mare and highland areas,respectively.Moreover,the relative concentrations of these elements could serve as indicators of geologic processes,e.g.,the obviously asymmetric distributions of Al2 O3,Ca O and Si O2 around Tycho crater may suggest that Tycho crater was formed by an oblique impact from the southwest direction.

Purpose:The incidence of heatstroke(HS)is not particularly high;however,once it occurs,the consequences are serious.It is reported that calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP)is protective against brain injury in HS rats,but detailed molecular mechanisms need to be further investigated.In this study,we further explored whether CGRP inhibited neuronal apoptosis in HS rats via protein kinase A(PKA)/p-cAMP response element-binding protein(p-CREB)pathway.Methods:We established a HS rat model in a pre-warmed artificial climate chamber with a temperature of(35.5±0.5)℃and a relative humidity of 60%±5%.Heatstress was stopped once core body temperature reaches above 41℃.A total of 25 rats were randomly divided into 5 groups with 5 animals each:control group,HS group,HS+CGRP group,HS+CGRP antagonist(CGRP8-37)group,and HS+CGRP+PKA/p-CREB pathway blocker(H89)group.A bolus injection of CGRP was administered to each rat in HS+CGRP group,CGRP8-37(antagonist of CGRP)in HS+CGRP8-37 group,and CGRP with H89 in HS+CGRP+H89 group.Electroencephalograms were recorded and the serum concentration of S100B,neuron-specific enolase(NSE),neuron apoptosis,activated caspase-3 and CGRP expression,as well as pathological morphology of brain tissue were detected at 2 h,6 h,and 24 h after HSin vivo.The expression of PKA,p-CREB,and Bcl-2 in rat neurons were also detected at 2 h after HSin vitro.Exogenous CGRP,CGRP8-37,or H89 were used to determine whether CGRP plays a protective role in brain injury via PKA/p-CREB pathway.The unpairedt-test was used between the 2 samples,and the mean±SD was used for multiple samples.Double-tailedp<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:Electroencephalogram showed significant alteration ofθ(54.50±11.51vs.31.30±8.71,F=6.790,p=0.005)andαwave(16.60±3.21vs.35.40±11.28,F=4.549,p=0.020)in HS group compared to the control group 2 h after HS.The results of triphosphate gap terminal labeling(TUNEL)showed that the neuronal apoptosis of HS rats was increased in the cortex(9.67±3.16vs.1.80±1.10,F=11.002,p=0.001)and

A photonic crystal nanobeam cavity(M-PCNC)with a structure incorporating a mixture of diamond-shaped and circular air holes is pro-posed.The performance of the cavity is simulated and studied theoretically.Using theﬁnite-difference time-domain method,the parameters of the M-PCNC,including cavity thickness and width,lattice constant,and radii and numbers of holes,are optimized,with the quality factor Q and mode volume Vm as performance indicators.Mutual modulation of the lattice constant and hole radius enable the proposed M-PCNC to realize outstanding performance.The optimized cavity possesses a high quality factor Q 1.45105 and an ultra-small mode=×volume Vm 0.01(λ/n)[Zeng et al.,Opt Lett 2023:48;3981–3984]in the telecommunications wavelength range.Light can be progres-=sively squeezed in both the propagation direction and the perpendicular in-plane direction by a series of interlocked anti-slots and slots in the diamond-shaped hole structure.Thereby,the energy can be conﬁned within a small mode volume to achieve an ultra-high Q/Vm ratio.

Guaico Culex virus(GCXV)is a newly identified segmented jingmenvirus from Culex spp.mosquitoes in Central and South America.The genome of GCXV is composed of four or five single-stranded positive RNA segments.However,the infection kinetics and transmission capability of GCXV in mosquitoes remain unknown.In this study,we used reverse genetics to rescue two GCXVs(4S and 5S)that contained four and five RNA segments,respectively,in C6/36 cells.Further in vitro characterization revealed that the two GCXVs exhibited comparable replication kinetics,protein expression and viral titers.Importantly,GCXV RNAs were detected in the bodies,salivary glands,midguts and ovaries of Culex quinquefasciatus at 4–10 days after oral infection.In addition,two GCXVs can colonize Cx.quinquefasciatus eggs,resulting in positive rates of 15%–35%for the second gonotrophic cycle.In conclusion,our results demonstrated that GCXVs with four or five RNA segments can be detected in Cx.quinquefasciatus eggs during the first and second gonotrophic cycles after oral infection.

Inland waters are important sources of greenhouse gases(GHGs)to the atmosphere that may partially offset the terrestrial carbon sink.However,GHG emissions from high altitude saline lakes on the Tibetan Plateau are currently poorly constrained.In this study,we measured methane(CH_(4))and carbon dioxide(CO_(2))concentrations and their carbon stable isotope(δ13C),and calculated diffusive water-to-air fluxes from two saline high-altitude lakes,Qinghai Lake and Hala Lake,located in northeast Tibetan Plateau in October 2020.The two lakes were mostly supersaturated in CH_(4)(89.8%-4623.9%sat)and acted as sources of CH_(4) to the atmosphere.Conversely,more than 96%investigated area of Qinghai Lake and all investigated area of Hala Lake was a sink of CO_(2).The average diffusive fluxes of CH_(4) and CO_(2) in the surface waters of Qinghai Lake were 34.51μmol m−2 d−1 and−1.29 mmol m−2 d−1,while diffusive fluxes of CH_(4) and CO_(2) in Hala Lake averaged 5.48μmol m−2 d−1 and−5.24 mmol m−2 d−1,respectively.Salinity(Sal),fluorescent dissolved organic matter(fDOM),temperature(Temp)and dissolved oxygen(DO)are key factors for diffusive CH_(4) and CO_(2) flux in Qinghai Lake and Hala Lake.CH_(4) diffusive fluxes across water-air interface from Qinghai Lake and Hala Lake were found to be significantly lower than other freshwater lakes,likely due to their saline nature.A simple isotope mixing model(Miller-Tans plots)revealed a distinctly different isotopic source values of CO_(2) and CH_(4) in Qinghai Lake and Hala Lake.The CH_(4) production pathway of Qinghai Lake was mainly by the acetate fermentation,while that of Hala Lake was mainly by the CO_(2) reduction.The results show that the continuous measurement can help capture the spatial variability of GHGs fluxes in saline lakes.
