The structure and properties of mixed monolayer or LB film of 5,10,15,20-tetra-4-oxy(2-stearic acid)phenyl porphyrin/C60 were studied. A isotherms and small angle X-ray diffraction (SAXD) results show that C60 molecules were incorporated into the cavities of por-phyrin molecules in mixed monolayer and LB film . UV-vis spectra of mixed LB films show that the absorption intensity of porphyrin varied compared with pure porphyrin film, probably arising from the interactions between C60 and porphyrin ring. C60 molecules in mixed systems are well-dispersed. The TPP(CO2H)/C60 mixed LB film is a kind of two-dimensional host-guest system.

International non-governmental organizations were among the first international actors that responded to the emer- gence of AIDS crisis in China. Since 1994, the number of international non-governmental organizations and charitable foundations working in AIDS related issue areas in China has grown steadily and substantially. Despite their organiza- tional differences, most of these non-governmental actors present the characteristics of independent mission, localized practice and diverse working focus. Even though they are constrained by financial and other factors compared with multilateral and bilateral official assistance agencies, they have still played a unique role in fighting against AIDS in China as technical experts, public educators, and civil society supporters.

The RNG k εturbulence model is adopted to investigate a turbulent round jet issuing into crossflow, with the Reynolds number at jet exit of Re=6000 and jet to crossflow velocity ratio of r=8. With the CFD code, FLUENT, the relations of dimensional analysis are successfully reproduced and the calculated coefficients agree well with the experimental measurements of Wong (1991) and Chu (1996). The investigations are then taken on the velocity, stream function and vorticity at the far field of the jet. It shows that at least within the covered range herein, the jet at the far field is self similar.

In recent years, population growth models with spatial diffusion have beenextensively studied by many authors (for example, see [1-5]). In this paper, a populationgrowth model is considered with a discrete age-dependence and spatial diffusion, and isinvestigated in a semigroup framework. The spectral properties of the population oper-ator are given. On the basis of such spectral consideration, the asymptotic behaviourof the semigroup generated by the population operator is obtained. Finally, a nonlinearpopulation growth model is considered and its stability is analyzed.

AIM:To examine the possible role of agents elevating cAMP to release NO from aortic en-dothelial cells. METHODS:NG-nitro-L-arg inine methylester (L-NAME) , an inhibitor of NO synthase, partially inhibited endothelium-dependent relaxation evoked in phenylephrine-precontracted rings by isoproterenol and abolished relaxation mediated by forskolin 0. 2 umol ***: In rings without en-dothelium, isoproterenol and forskolin were less effective relaxants and L-NAME had no effect on the responses. In methylene blue-treated rings isoproterenol- and forskolin-induced relaxation were prevented in both en-dothelium-intact and -denuded rings, but the inhibitory effects of methylene blue were significantly more in rings with endothelium than in those without. On the other hand, relaxation induced by sodium nitroprusside was not inhibited by L-NAME, but was inhibited by methylene blue in both the endothelium-intact and -denuded rings. AIM To investigate the efficacy and safety of stellate ganglion block for the treatment of patients with chronic ulcerative *** A total of 120 randomly selected patients with chronic ulcerative colitis treated in Cangzhou Central Hospital from January 2014 to January 2016 were included in this study. These patients were divided into two groups: control group(n = 30), patients received oral sulfasalazine treatment; experimental group(n = 90), patients received stellate ganglion block treatment. Clinical symptoms and disease activity in these two groups were compared before and after treatment using endoscopy. Blood was collected from patients on day 0, 10, 20 and 30 after treatment. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was performed to determine interleukin-8(IL-8) level. The changes in IL-8 level post-treatment in the two groups were compared using repeated measures analysis of *** After treatment, clinical symptoms and disease activity were shown to be alleviated by endoscopy in both the control and experimental groups. However, patients in the control group did not have obvious abdominal pain relief. In addition, the degree of pain relief in the experimental group was statistically better than that in the control group(P < 0.05). Ten days after treatment, IL-8 level was found to be significantly lower in the experimental group than in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). In addition, adverse events were significantly higher in the control group than in the experimental group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ~2 = 33.215, P = 0.000).CONCLUSION The application of stellate ganglion block effectively improves treatment efficacy in chronic ulcerative colitis, relieves clinical symptoms in patients, and reduces the level of inflammatory factors. Furthermore, this approach also had a positive impact on the disease to a certain extent.

BACKGROUND Breast cancer is among the most common malignancies *** progress in treatment methods and levels,the overall survival period has been prolonged,and the demand for quality care has *** To investigate the effect of individualized and continuous care intervention in patients with breast *** Two hundred patients with breast cancer who received systemic therapy at The First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North university(January 2021 to July 2023)were retrospectively selected as research *** them,134 received routine care intervention(routing group)and 66 received personalized and continuous care(intervention group).Self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS),and Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast(FACT-B)scores,including limb shoulder joint activity,complication rate,and care satisfaction,were compared between both groups after *** SAS and SDS scores were lower in the intervention group than in the routing group at one and three months after *** total FACT-B scores and five dimensions in the intervention group were higher than those in the routing group at three months of *** range of motion of shoulder anteflexion,posterior extension,abduction,internal rotation,and external rotation in the intervention group was higher than that in the routing group one month after *** incidence of postoperative complications was 18.18%lower in the intervention group than in the routing group(34.33%;P<0.05).Satisfaction with care was 90.91% higher in the intervention group than in the routing group(78.36%;P<0.05).CONCLUSION Personalized and continuous care can alleviate negative emotions in patients with breast cancer,quicken rehabilitation of limb function,decrease the incidence of complications,and improve living quality and care satisfaction.
