X-ray photon correlation spectroscopy(XPCS)has emerged as a powerful tool for probing the nanoscale dynamics of soft condensed matter and strongly correlated materials owing to its high spatial resolution and penetration *** technique requires high brilliance and beam coherence,which are not directly available at modern synchrotron beamlines in *** facilitate future XPCS experiments,we modified the optical setup of the newly commissioned BL10U1 USAXS beamline at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility(SSRF).Subsequently,we performed XPCS measurements on silica suspensions in glycerol,which were opaque owing to their high *** were collected using a high frame rate area detector.A comprehensive analysis was performed,yielding correlation functions and several key dynamic *** the results were consistent with the theory of Brownian motion and demonstrated the feasibility of XPCS at ***,by carefully optimizing the setup and analyzing the algorithms,we achieved a time resolution of 2 ms,which enabled the characterization of millisecond dynamics in opaque systems.

Let G={Gi:i∈[n]} be a collection of not necessarily distinct n-vertex graphs with the same vertex set V,where G can be seen as an edge-colored(multi)graph and each Gi is the set of edges with color i.A graph F on V is called rainbow if any two edges of F come from different Gis’.We say that G is rainbow pancyclic if there is a rainbow cycle Cℓof lengthℓin G for each integerℓ2[3,n].In 2020,Joos and Kim proved a rainbow version of Dirac’s theorem:Ifδ(Gi)≥2/n for each i∈[n],then there is a rainbow Hamiltonian cycle in *** this paper,under the same condition,we show that G is rainbow pancyclic except that n is even and G consists of n copies of Kn/2,n/*** result supports the famous meta-conjecture posed by Bondy.

In this paper,a novel ternary eutectic salt Na_(2)CO_(3)-li_(2)CO_(3)-liF was designed and investigated for concentrated solar power(CSP).The FactSage software was used to predict the composition and eutectic point of Na_(2)CO_(3)-li_(2)CO_(3)-*** microstructure,thermophysical properties,and thermal stability of eutectic salts were experimentally measured using various analytical *** a mass ratio of 57%:32%:11%,the eutectic salt exhibited excellent thermal storage properties with a fusion enthalpy of 413 J/g and a melting point of 426.8℃.The excellent thermal stability of the eutectic salt was reflected by a weight loss of only 0.8% at 600℃.

In this paper,we propose a numerical method for turning point problems in one dimension based on Petrov-Galerkin finite element method(PGFEM).We first give a priori estimate for the turning point problem with a single boundary turning *** we use PGFEM to solve it,where test functions are the solutions to piecewise approximate dual *** prove that our method has a first-order convergence rate in both L∞h norm and a discrete energy norm when we select the exact solutions to dual problems as test *** results show that our scheme is efficient for turning point problems with different types of singularities,and the convergency coincides with our theoretical results.

The heterointerface engineering involving different components or phases represents a desirable strategy for enhancing the sluggish kinetics of hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).However,constructing desired heterointerfaces and elucidating the reaction mechanisms on the interface remains a considerable *** this work,we propose a straightforward electrochemical synthesis strategy to prepare the nickel sulfide-based heterointerfaces for *** mechanism of electrochemical synthesis is revealed,wherein metal-thiourea species can be formed at the cathode potential and subsequently oxidized to nickel sulfides at the anode *** this mechanism,a range of nickel sulfides,including NiS,Ni_(3)S_(2)/NiS,Ni/Ni_(3)S_(2)and Ni_(3)S_(2),have been successfully synthesized by tuning the potential range of cyclic *** these,the obtained Ni_(3)S_(2)/NiS@CC(CC:carbon cloth)exhibits the smallest overpotential of84 mV at 10 mA·cm^(-2)and high *** calculations further reveal that the combination of NiS and Ni_(3)S_(2)induces electron redistribution at the interface,and thus the Volmer process is effectively promoted with faster water dissociation and OH desorption ***,the simplicity method coupled with a clear synthesis mechanism and outstanding HER performance highlights its promising potential for practical applications.

Guaico Culex virus(GCXV)is a newly identified segmented Jingmenvirus from Culex *** in Central and South *** genome of GCXV is composed of four or five single-stranded positive RNA ***,the infection kinetics and transmission capability of GCXV in mosquitoes remain *** this study,we used reverse genetics to rescue two GCXVs(4S and 5S)that contained four and five RNA segments,respectively,in C6/36 *** in vitro characterization revealed that the two GCXVs exhibited comparable replication kinetics,protein expression and viral ***,GCXV RNAs were detected in the bodies,salivary glands,midguts and ovaries of Culex quinquefasciatus at 4–10 days after oral *** addition,two GCXVs can colonize *** eggs,resulting in positive rates of 15%–35%for the second gonotrophic *** conclusion,our results demonstrated that GCXVs with four or five RNA segments can be detected in *** eggs during the first and second gonotrophic cycles after oral infection.

The distribution and fractionation of persistent organic pollutants(POPs)in different matrices refer to how these pollutants are dispersed and separated within various environmental *** is a significant study area as it helps us understand the transport efficiencies and long-range transport potentials of POPs to enter remote areas,particularly polar *** study provides a comprehensive review of the progress in understanding the distribution and fractionation of *** focus on the contributions of four intermedia processes(dry and wet depositions for gaseous and particulate POPs)and determine their transfer between air and *** processes are controlled by their partitioning between gaseous and particulate phases in the *** distribution patterns and fractionations can be categorized into primary and secondary *** are developed to quantificationally study the primary and secondary distributions and fractionations of *** analysis results suggest that the transfer of low molecular weight(LMW)POPs from air to soil is mainly through gas diffusion and particle deposition,whereas high molecular weight(HMW)POPs are mainly via particle ***-POPs tend to be trapped near the source,whereas LMW-POPs are more prone to undergo long-range atmospheric *** crucial distinction elucidates the primary reason behind their temperatureindependent primary ***,the secondary distribution and fractionation can only be observed along a temperature gradient,such as latitudinal or altitudinal *** animation is produced by a one-dimensional transport model to simulate conceptively the transport of CB-28 and CB-180,revealing the similarities and differences between the primary and secondary distributions and *** suggest that the decreasing temperature trend along latitudes is not the major reason for POPs to be fractionated into the polar ecosystems,but drives the longer-term accumu

Microcavity photon dynamics in curved space is an emerging interesting area at the crossing point of nanophotonics,chaotic science,and non-Euclidean *** report the sharp difference between the regular and chaotic motions of cavity photons subjected to the varying space *** the island modes of regular motion rise in the phase diagram in the curved space,the chaotic modes show special mechanisms to adapt to the space curvature,including the fast diffusion of ray dynamics,and the localization and hybridization of the Husimi wavepackets among different periodic *** observations are unique effects enabled by the combination of the chaotic trajectory,the wave nature of light,and the non-Euclidean orbital motion,and therefore make the system a versatile optical simulator for chaotic science under quantum mechanics in curved space-time.
