Objective:To confirm the efficacy and safety of Ganyushu Granule(GYSG)in treating premenstrual syndrome(PMS)in patients with Gan(Liver)depression and qi stagnation syndrome(GDQSS)and determine its effective ***:From June 2018 to March 2021,a total of 240 PMS women with GDQSS were included and randomly divided into 3 groups in a 1:1:1 ratio using central block randomization:high-dose GYSG group(n=78,GYSG 2 packs/time),low-dose GYSG group(n=82,GYSG and its simulant 1 pack/time),and placebo group(n=80,GYSG simulant 2 packs/time).Treatment with GYSG or placebo was given thrice daily and for up to 3 menstrual *** outcomes were PMS diary(PMSD)score and premenstrual tension syndrome self-rating scale(PMTS).Secondary outcomes were Chinese medicine(CM)syndrome ***,PMTS,and efficacy of CM were evaluated with menstrual cycles during the treatment *** indicators were analyzed after each menstrual *** analyses were performed using an intention-to-treat method,and clinical safety was ***:Of the 216 patients included in the effectiveness analysis,70,75,and 71 patients were in the high-,low-dose GYSG,and placebo groups,*** the 2nd treatment cycle,the change in PMSD scores in the high-and low-dose groups was lower than that in the placebo group(P<0.05).PMTS scores in the high-dose GYSG group after the 1st treatment cycle was lower than that in the placebo group(P<0.05),while after the 3rd treatment cycle,that in the low-dose group was lower than that in the placebo group(P<0.05).After the 2nd treatment cycle,the high-dose GYSG group had the best CM syndrome efficacy(P<0.05).No serious adverse reactions were ***:GYSG was safe and well-tolerated at both doses for treating PMS patients with ***-dose GYSG might be the optimal dose for a phaseⅢtrial.

The scarcity,high cost and susceptibility to CO of Platinum severely restrict its application in alkaline hydrogen oxidation reaction(HOR).Hybridizing Pt with other transition metals provides an effective strategy to modulate its catalytic HOR performance,but at the cost of mass activity due to the coverage of modifiers on Pt ***,we constructed dual junctions'Pt/nitrogen-doped carbon(Pt/NC)andδ-MoC/NC to modify electronic structure of Pt via interfacial electron transfer to acquire Pt-MoC@NC catalyst with electron-deficient Pt nanoparticles,simultaneously endowing it with high mass activity and durability of alkaline ***,the unique structure of Pt-MoC@NC endows Pt with a high COtolerance at 1,000 ppm CO/H_(2),a quality that commercial Pt-C catalyst *** theoretical calculations not only confirm the diffusion of electrons from Pt/NC to Mo C/NC could occur,but also demonstrate the negative shift of Pt d-band center for the optimized binding energies of*H,*OH and CO.

Objective To identify whether Banxia Xiexin Decoction(BXD)alleviates cerebral glucose metabolism disorder by intestinal microbiota regulation in APP/PS1 *** Forty-five 3-month-old male APP/PS1 mice were divided into 3 groups using a random number table(n=15 per group),including a model group(MG),a liraglutide group(LG)and a BXD group(BG).Fifteen 3-month-old male C57BL/6J wild-type mice were used as the control group(CG).Mice in the BG were administered BXD granules by gavage at a dose of 6 g/(kg·d)for 3 months,while mice in the LG were injected intraperitoneally once daily with Liraglutide Injection(25 nmol/kg)for 3 ***,liquid chromatography with tandem-mass spectrometry was used to analyze the active components of BXD granules and the medicated serum of ***,the cognitive deficits,Aβpathological change and synaptic plasticity markers,including synaptophysin(SYP)and postsynaptic density protein 95(PSD95),were measured in APP/PS1 *** glucose uptake was detected by micropositron emission *** microbial constituents were detected by 16S rRNA *** levels of intestinal glucagon-like peptide 1(GLP-1)and cerebral GLP-1 receptor(GLP-1R),as well as the phosphoinositide-3-kinase/protein kinase B/glycogen synthase kinase-3β(PI3K/Akt/GSK3β)insulin signaling pathway were determined by immunohistochemical(IHC)staining and Western blot analysis,*** BXD ameliorated cognitive deficits and Aβpathological features(P<0.01).The expressions of SYP and PSD95 in the BG were higher than those in the MG(P<0.01).Brain glucose uptake in the BG was higher than that in the MG(P<0.01).The intestinal microbial composition in the BG was partially *** levels of intestinal GLP-1 in the BG were higher than those in the MG(P<0.01).Compared with the MG,the expression levels of hippocampal GLP-1R,Akt,PI3K and p-PI3K in the BG were significantly increased(P<0.01),while the levels of GSK3βwere reduced(P<0.01).Conclusion BXD

AIM:To compare relative peripheral refraction(RPR)in Chinese school children with different refractive errors using multispectral refraction topography(MRT).METHODS:A total of 713 eyes of primary school children[172 emmetropia(E),429 low myopia(LM),80 moderate myopia(MM),and 32 low hypermetropia(LH)]aged 10 to 13y were *** were measured using MRT without *** results showed RPR at 0-15°(RPR 0-15),15°-30°(RPR 15-30),and 30°-45°(RPR 30-45)annular in the inferior(RPR-I),superior(RPR-S),nasal(RPR-N),and temporal(RPR-T)*** equivalent(SE)was detected and calculated using an ***:There were significant differences of RPR 15-30 between groups MM[0.02(-0.12;0.18)]and LH[-0.13(-0.36;0.12)](P<0.05),MM and E[-0.06(-0.20;0.10)](P<0.05),and LM[-0.02(-0.15;0.15)]and E(P<0.05).There were also significant differences of RPR 30-45 between groups MM[0.45(0.18;0.74)]and E[0.29(-0.09;0.67)](P<0.05),and LM[0.44(0.14;0.76)]and E(P<0.001).RPR values increased from the hyperopic to medium myopic group in each *** were significant differences of RPR-S between groups MM[-0.02(-0.60;0.30)]and E[-0.44(-0.89;-0.04)](P<0.001),and LM[-0.28(-0.71;0.12)]and E(P<0.05).There were also significant differences of RPR-T between groups MM[0.37(0.21;0.78)]and LH[0.14(-0.52;0.50)](P<0.05),LM[0.41(0.06;0.84)]and LH(P<0.05),and LM and E[0.29(-0.10;0.68),P<0.05].A Spearman’s correlation analysis showed a negative correlation between RPR and SE in the 15°-30°(P=0.005),30°-45°(P<0.05)annular(P=0.002),superior(P<0.001),and temporal(P=0.001)***:Without pupil dilation,values for RPR 15-30,30-45,RPR-S,and T shows significant differences between myopic eyes and emmetropia,and the differences are negatively correlated with SE.

BACKGROUND Pulmonary fibrosis is one of the main reasons for the high mortality rate among acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)*** stromal cell-derived microvesicles(MSC-MVs)have been shown to exert antifibrotic effects in lung *** To investigate the effects and mechanisms of MSC-MVs on pulmonary fibrosis in ARDS mouse *** MSC-MVs with low hepatocyte growth factor(HGF)expression(siHGF-MSC-MVs)were obtained via lentivirus transfection and used to establish the ARDS pulmonary fibrosis mouse *** intubation,respiratory mechanics-related indicators were measured via an experimental small animal lung function *** of MSC-MVs in lung tissues was investigated by near-infrared live ***,western blotting,ELISA and other methods were used to detect expression of pulmonary fibrosis-related proteins and to compare effects on pulmonary fibrosis and fibrosis-related *** The MSC-MVs gradually migrated and homed to damaged lung tissues in the ARDS model *** with MSC-MVs significantly reduced lung injury and pulmonary fibrosis ***,low expression of HGF(siHGF-MSC-MVs)significantly inhibited the effects of MSC-MVs(P<0.05).Compared with the ARDS pulmonary fibrosis group,the MSC-MVs group exhibited suppressed expression of type I collagen antigen,type III collagen antigen,and the proteins transforming growth factor-βandα-smooth muscle actin,whereas the siHGF-MVs group exhibited significantly increased expression of these *** addition,pulmonary compliance and the pressure of oxygen/oxygen inhalation ratio were significantly lower in the MSC-MVs group,and the effects of the MSC-MVs were significantly inhibited by low HGF expression(all P<0.05).CONCLUSION MSC-MVs improved lung ventilation functions and inhibited pulmonary fibrosis in ARDS mice partly via HGF mRNA transfer.
