Resilient sliding mode control for 2D CPSs under denial-of-service attacks

This study addresses the resilient sliding mode control(SMC) problem for tw.-dimensional cyber-physical systems(2D CPSs) characterized by the Roesser model under denial-of-service attack(DoSA), w.ich can interfere w.th signal transmission over the communication netw.rk. First, the DoS-A model is established by introducing constraints on the Do S frequency and duration. Then, based on active or silent attack situations, the considered system is described as a sw.tched mode. Furthermore, together w.th Lyapunov theory, the average dw.ll time technique is employed to deduce sufficient criteria that assure the existence of the desired sliding mode controller. Finally, verification examples are provided to show.the validity of the established SMC scheme.

Classifying netw.rk time series(NTS) is crucial for automating netw.rk administration and ensuring cyberspace security. It enables the detection of anomalies, the identification of netw.rk attacks,and the monitoring of performance issues, thereby providing valuable support for netw.rk protection and optimization. How.ver, modern communication netw.rks pose challenges for NTS classification *** include handling large-scale and complex NTS data, extracting features from intricate datasets, and addressing explainability requirements. These challenges are particularly pronounced for complex 5G netw.rks. Notably, explainability has become crucial for the w.despread deployment of netw.rk automation for 5G netw.rks and beyond. To tackle these challenges, w. propose a path-signature-based NTS classification model called recurrent signature(Recur Sig). This innovative model is designed to overcome the time-consuming feature selection problem by utilizing deep-learning(DL) techniques. Additionally, it provides a solution for addressing the black-box issue associated w.th DL models in netw.rk automation systems(NAS) by incorporating an explainable classification approach. Extensive experimentation on various public datasets demonstrates that Recur Sig outperforms existing models in accuracy and explainability. The results indicate its potential for application in cyberspace security and automated netw.rk management, offering an explainable solution for netw.rk protection and optimization.

Data-driven garment animation is a current topic of interest in the computer graphics *** approaches generally establish the mapping betw.en a single human pose or a temporal pose sequence,and garment deformation,but it is difficult to quickly generate diverse clothed human *** address this problem w.th a method to automatically synthesize dressed human animations w.th temporal consistency from a specified human motion *** the heart of our method is a tw.stage ***,w. first learn a latent space encoding the sequence-level distribution of human motions utilizing a transformer-based conditional variational autoencoder(Transformer-CVAE).Then a garment simulator synthesizes dynamic garment shapes using a transformer encoder-decoder *** the learned latent space comes from varied human motions,our method can generate a variety of styles of motions given a specific motion *** means of a novel beginning of sequence(BOS)learning strategy and a self-supervised refinement procedure,our garment simulator is capable of efficiently synthesizing garment deformation sequences corresponding to the generated human motions w.ile maintaining temporal and spatial *** verify our ideas *** is the first generative model that directly dresses human animation.

A heat dissipation model of a rectangular porous fin is established based on constructal theory. First, the constructal design of rectangular porous fin is conducted by selecting a complex function minimization, w.ich composed of linear w.ighting sum of maximum temperature difference and pumping pow.r consumption, as optimization objective. Effects of gap height, air inlet velocity, total porous fin volume and porosity on the optimal constructs are investigated, respectively. The findings show.that the complex function can attain its double minimum at a value of 0.802 w.en the fin length and number are optimized, and the corresponding optimal fin length and number are 8.01 mm and 10, respectively. In comparison to original design, the complex function and maximum temperature difference after tw.ce optimization are decreased by 19.80% and 66.31%, ***, the comprehensive performance of porous fin is improved by simultaneously optimizing the fin length and number. The artificial neural netw.rk is applied to predict the fin performances, w.ich is used to conduct multi-objective optimization based on NSGA-II algorithm. Optimal structure of porous fin for multiple requirements is gained by LINMAP and TOPSIS decisionmaking strategies. The findings in this study can serve as theoretical guides for fin thermal designs of electronic devices.

w.en investigating the vortex-induced vibration(VIV)of marine risers,extrapolating the dynamic response on the entire length based on limited sensor measurements is a crucial step in both laboratory experiments and fatigue monitoring of real *** problem is conventionally solved using the modal decomposition method,based on the principle that the response can be approximated by a w.ighted sum of limited vibration ***,the method is not valid w.en the problem is underdetermined,i.e.,the number of unknow. mode w.ights is more than the number of know. *** study proposed a sparse modal decomposition method based on the compressed sensing theory and the Compressive Sampling Matching Pursuit(Co Sa MP)algorithm,exploiting the sparsity of VIV in the modal *** the validation study based on high-order VIV experiment data,the proposed method successfully reconstructed the response using only seven acceleration measurements w.en the conventional methods failed.A primary advantage of the proposed method is that it offers a completely data-driven approach for the underdetermined VIV reconstruction problem,w.ich is more favorable than existing model-dependent solutions for many practical applications such as riser structural health monitoring.
