BACKGROUND According to the latest report,colorectal cancer is still one of the most prevalent cancers,with the third highest incidence and mortality *** of advanced rectal cancer with distant metastases is usually unsatisfactory,especially for mismatch repair proficient(pMMR)rectal cancer,which leads to poor prognosis and *** SUMMARY We report a case of a pMMR rectal adenocarcinoma with metastases of multiple lymph nodes,including the left supraclavicular lymph node,before treatment in a 70-year-old *** received full courses of chemoradiotherapy(CRT)followed by 4 cycles of programmed death 1 inhibitor Tislelizumab,and a pathologic complete response(pCR)was achieved,and the lesion of the left supraclavicular lymph node also *** pMMR advanced rectal cancer with preserved intact distant metastatic lymph nodes may benefit from full-course CRT combined with immunotherapy.

Small bowel volvulus,which is torsion of the small bowel and its mesentery,is a medical emergency,and is categorized as primary or secondary type. Primary type often occurs without any apparent intrinsic anatomical anomalies,while the secondary type is common clinically and could be caused by numerous factors including postoperative adhesions,intestinal diverticulum,and/or tumors. Here,we report a rare case of a 60-year-old man diagnosed with small bowel volvulus using multidetector computed tomography(MDCT) angiography. Further discovery by laparotomy showed one jejunal diverticulum,longer corresponding mesentery with a narrower insertion,and a lack of mesenteric fat. This case report includes several etiological factors of small bowel volvulus,and we discuss the possible cause of small bowel volvulus in this patient. We also highlight the importance of MDCT angiography in the diagnosis of volvulus and share our experience in treating this disease.

Two new quaternary Cr_(x)Ti_(0.75)Mo_(0.75)V_(1.5−x)AlC_(2)(x=1.25 and 1)MAXs and Cr_(0.75)Ti_(0.75)Mo_(0.75)V_(0.75)AlC_(2) are synthesized via hot *** unprecedented transition in M-site atomic occupancy from out-of-plane order to solid solution is observed along with composition variation,which also increases the configurational entropy from medium-to *** experimental observations and theoretical calculations,the influence of the atomic distribution on the material properties is ***,an approximately 40%increase in the Vickers hardness compared with that of Cr_(2)TiAlC_(2) and a low thermal conductivity are detected for the three MAXs,which can be attributed to the solid solution strengthening effects and the enhanced scattering of both electrons and phonons from the high-entropy structure.

[目的]对植物根系数字化并进行三维实体可视化模拟,对于了解植物根系形态和为水保工程制图提供植物实物图库都具有重要的理论与实践意义。[方法]逐层挖掘黄土区酸枣、沙棘、狼牙刺3种护坡植物根系,使用3D数字化仪FasTrak获取根系三维点阵坐标后利用SketchUp软件对根系进行三维建模并提取根系构型参数。为了建立完整的植物地上地下三维实体图库,同时使用FreeScan UE激光扫描仪得到相应地上部点云数据,经Soildworks软件渲染后建立植物地上部三维模型。[结果](1)建立了3种植物的地上地下三维实体模型图;(2)3种植物的根幅/根深均大于1(1.10~3.41),根系在水平方向上占有优势,狼牙刺最小为1.10;(3)3种植物冠幅/根幅分别为酸枣(0.25)、沙棘(0.69)、狼牙刺(0.73),均小于1,植物根系较地上部在水平方向上占优;(4)3种植物Fitter拓扑指数均接近于1,分别为酸枣(0.915)、沙棘(0.802)、狼牙刺(0.771),接近于鱼尾型分支;(5)植物根系总根长、总表面积、总体积在上坡方向占比大于50%,均在上坡方向更有优势。[结论]所建立的植物三维模型图对植物还原度高,为整株植物三维可视化模拟提供了一种方法。

Determination of the gas compositions for direct coal liquefaction by gas chromatography

Via multi-dimensional gas chromatography, configured with parallel dual-channel, double detectors, valves switching and back flushing, rapid analysis of the gas compositions consisting of C1-C5 hydrocarbons and permanent gases, such as CO2, H2S, H2, and CO, for direct coal liquefaction has been realized. With four packed chromatographic columns, which are Hayesep-Q pre-column, Hayesep-Q column, molecular sieve 5A column and one PLOT A1203 S capillary column, the gas compositions for direct coal liquefaction are analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively by the external standard method. The determination method has such advantages as excellent separation, simple operation, rapid analysis and accurate results.

In this paper, we investigate a discrete semi-ratio dependent predator-prey system with Holling IV type functional response. For general nonautonomous case, sufficient conditions which ensure the permanence and the global stability of the system are obtained. Meanwhile, we discuss the existence of the positive periodic solution and global stability of the system.

This phenomenon of fetal origins of adult disease is strongly associated with fetal insults to epigenetic modifications of genes. A potential role of epigenetic modifications in congenital disorders, transient neonatal diabetes mellitus （TNDM）, intrauterine growth retardation （IUGR）, and persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn （PPHN） have been *** Acknowledgment of the role of these epigenetic modifications in neonatal diseases would be conducive to better understanding the pathogenesis of these diseases, and provide new insight for improved treatment and prevention of later adult diseases.

The chronic use of morphine and other opioids is associated with opioid-induced hypersensitivity(OIH)and analgesic *** the different forms of OIH and tolerance,the opioid receptors and cell types mediating opioid-induced mechanical allodynia and anti-allodynic tolerance remain *** we demonstrated that the loss of peripheralμ-opioid receptors(MORs)or MOR-expressing neurons attenuated thermal tolerance,but did not affect the expression and maintenance of morphine-induced mechanical allodynia and anti-allodynic *** confirm this result,we made dorsal root ganglia-dorsal roots-sagittal spinal cord slice preparations and recorded low-threshold Aβ-fiber stimulation-evoked inputs and outputs in superficial dorsal horn *** with the behavioral results,peripheral MOR loss did not prevent the opening of Aβmechanical allodynia pathways in the spinal dorsal ***,the peripheral MOR signaling pathway may not be an optimal target for preventing mechanical OIH and analgesic *** studies should focus more on central mechanisms.
