First,we would like to congratulate Liu et *** their successful multicenter study including 1,032 patients undergoing robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy(RPD)and 1,154 open pancreaticoduodenectomy(OPD)in seven high volume centers in China over an 8 year period(1).To ensure the best possible outcomes of both techniques,RPD was performed by five surgeons from three centers after overcoming the individual learning curve that was defined as having performed>40 *** the other hand,OPD was performed by 9 surgeons from 6 centers after reaching the individual learning curve,defined as an experience of>60 OPD.

Within the project preparation phase, experienced professionals manually map design information onto process information with the aim to develop realistic and practical schedules. Unfortunately, the mapping itself is neither part of any underlying data model nor is it supported by current scheduling tools. As a consequence the process of setting up the data model for a schedule is still not supported formally. Huhnt and Enge described a modelling technique that addresses the missing linkage between design and process information[1]. The approach makes use of so called component types. These are template sub-processes that describe the fabrication procedure of typical building components. Decomposing the building into com-ponents and assigning a component type to each component allows for formal support while scheduling. Depending on the decomposition of the building into components and the complexity of the involved component types the specification effort differs. The question about optimal component types arises: Which layout of building components and component types results in minimal specification effort? This paper presents a branch and bound algorithm to determine optimal component types. For a given schedule, which has been modelled based on component types, all possible decompositions into sub-processes are determined. During the decomposition process the encountered configurations are compared. Those with minimal specifica-tion effort are registered. Theoretical and practical examples are examined and discussed.

Automation of production in the nurseries of flower producing companies using barcode scanners have been attempted but with little *** laser barcode scanners which have been used for automation have failed due to the close proximity between the barcode and the scanner,and factors such as speed,angle of inclination of the barcode,damage to the barcode and dirt on the ***,laser barcode scanners are still being used manually in the nurseries making work laborious and time consuming,which leading to reduced ***,an automated image-based barcode detection system to help solve the aforementioned problems was *** were conducted under different situations with clean and artificially soiled Code 128 barcodes in both the laboratory and under real production conditions in a flower producing *** images were analyzed with a specific algorithm developed with the software tool *** the results from the company showed that the image-based system has a future prospect for automation in the nursery.

The novel coronavirus pandemic,first reported in December 2019,was caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2).SARS-CoV-2 infection leads to a strong immune response and activation of antigen-presenting cells,which can elicit acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)characterized by the rapid onset of widespread inflammation,the so-called cytokine *** response to viral infections,monocytes are recruited into the lung and subsequently differentiate into dendritic cells(DCs).DCs are critical players in the development of acute lung inflammation that causes ***,we focus on the interaction of a specific SARS-CoV-2 open reading frame protein,ORF8,with *** show that ORF8 binds to DCs,causes pre-maturation of differentiating DCs,and induces the secretion of multiple proinflammatory cytokines by these *** addition,we identified DC-SIGN as a possible interaction partner of ORF8 on *** of ORF8 leads to reduced production of IL-1β,IL-6,IL-12p70,TNF-α,MCP-1(also named CCL2),and IL-10 by ***,a neutralizing antibody blocking the ORF8-mediated cytokine and chemokine response could be an improved therapeutic strategy against SARS-CoV-2.

Mass Valuation of Unimproved Land Value Case Study: Nairobi County

The purpose of this study is to investigate mass valuation of unimproved land value using machine learning techniques. The study was conducted in Nairobi County. It is one of the 47 Kenyan Counties under the 2010 constitution. A total of 1440 geocoded data points containing the market selling price of vacant land in Nairobi were web scraped from major property listing websites. These data points were adopted as dependent variables given as unit price of vacant land per square meter. The Covariates used in this study were categorized into Accessibility, Environmental, Physical and Socio-Economic Factors. Due to multi-collinearity problem present in the covariates, PLS and PCA methods were adopted to transform the observed features using a set of vectors. These methods resulted in an uncorrelated set of components that were used in training machine learning algorithms. The dependent variable and uncorrelated components derived feature reduction methods were used as training data for training different machine learning regression models namely;Random forest, support vector regression and extreme gradient boosting regression (XGboost regression). PLS performed better than PCA because the former maximizes the covariance between dependent and independent variables while the latter maximizes variance between the independent variables only and ignores the relationship between predictors and response. The first 9 components were identified as significant both by PLS and PCA methods. The spatial distribution of vacant land value within Nairobi County was consistent for all the three machine learning models. It was also noted that the land value pattern was higher in the central business district and the pattern spread northwards and westwards relative to the CBD. A relative low vacant land value pattern was observed on the eastern side of the county and also at the extreme periphery of Nairobi County boundary. Solid-state batteries(SSBs)are a promising next step in electrochemical energy storage but are plagued by a number of *** this study,we demonstrate the recurring issue of mechanical degradation because of volume changes in layered Ni-rich oxide cathode materials in thiophosphate-based ***,we explore superionic solid electrolytes(SEs)of different crystallinity,namely glassy 1.5Li_(2)S-0.5P_(2)S_(5)-LiI and argyrodite Li_(6)PS_(5)Cl,with emphasis on how they affect the cyclability of slurry-cast cathodes with NCM622(60%Ni)or NCM851005(85%Ni).The application of a combination of ex situ and in situ analytical techniques helped to reveal the benefits of using a SE with a low Young’s *** a synergistic interplay of(electro)chemical and(chemo)mechanical effects,the glassy SE employed in this work was able to achieve robust and stable interfaces,enabling intimate contact with the cathode material while at the same time mitigating volume *** results emphasize the importance of considering chemical,electrochemical,and mechanical properties to realize long-term cycling performance in high-loading SSBs.
