With the popularity of e-learning,personalization and ubiquity have become important aspects of online *** make learning more personalized and ubiquitous,we propose a learner model for a query-based personalized learning recommendation *** contextual attributes characterize a learner,but considering all of them is costly for a ubiquitous learning *** this paper,a set of optimal intrinsic and extrinsic contexts of a learner are identified for learner modeling.A total of 208 students are ***(Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory)technique is used to establish the validity and importance of the identified contexts and find the interdependency among *** acquiring methods of these contexts are also *** the basis of these contexts,the learner model is designed.A layered architecture is presented for interfacing the learner model with a query-based personalized learning recommendation *** a ubiquitous learning scenario,the necessary adaptive decisions are identified to make a personalized recommendation to a learner.

Identifying and Modeling Non-Functional Concerns Relationships

Requirements elicitation step is of paramount importance in the requirements engineering process. In the distributed environment of so-called inter-company cooperative information system, this step is a thorny issue. To elicit require-ments for an inter-company cooperative information system, we early proposed a methodology called MAMIE (from MAcro to MIcro level requirements Elicitation) with an accompanied tool. In MAMIE methodology, requirements are the result of composing functional and non-functional concerns. Before non-functional concerns composition, it’s primary to identify relationships between them. According to the most existing approaches, a non-functional concern may have a negative, positive or null contribution on the other non-functional concerns. In this paper, we argue that using only these three contributions types is not sufficient to express relationships which may exist between non-functional concerns. Thus, we propose a process which aims to identify non-functional concerns’ relationships and model them using a fuzzy cognitive map. The resulting model is composed of non-functional concerns, relationships between them and the weight of these relationships expressed with linguistics fuzzy values. Using fuzzy cognitive maps to model non-functional concerns relationships allows moving from the conventional modelling toward developing a computer based model. An example from the textile industry is used to illustrate the applicability of our process.

Physico-chemical and Microbiological Analysis of Algerian Raw Camel＇s Milk and Identification of Predominating Thermophilic Lactic Acid Bacteria

The dromedary camel （Camelus dromedarius） is a significant socioeconomic importance in several arid and semi-arid regions of North Africa and Middle East, and its milk constitutes an important component of human diets in these regions. The camel milk plays a vital role in the food of the Algerian nomads in the Sahara. During February and September, 20 samples of the raw camel＇s milk were taken starting from different livestock of camels from three different Sahariennes regions （Bechar, EI-Bayadh and Naama）. These 20 collected samples were analyzed by physico-chemical and microbiological methods. The results of physicochemical analyze obtained from two hot and cold seasons are respectively the following： T ~C （35.83 and 33.95）, pH （6.36 and 6.49）, density （1.031 and 1.032）, dornic acidity （18.6 and 18.3 ~D）, dry matter （93.4 and 144.8 g/L）, fat contents （30 and 52.1 g/L）, total protein （26.3 and 33.1 g/L） and ashes （7.46 and 8.66 g/L）. The protein profile obtained by electrophoretic analysis （SDS-PAGE） showed that camel milk contains several types of proteins and some have a molecular weight identical to major proteins of the cow＇s milk. The final results showed that camel milk has generally a comparable composition to that of bovine milk. The microbiological analysis, of these samples, detected a significant number of the total microflora, Staphylococcus aureus and total coliforms. The absence of Clostridium and fecal coliforms was observed. Several species of lactic acid bacteria were detected such as Lactococcus lactis subsp, lactis, Lactococcus lactis subsp, lactis biovar, diacetylactis, Weissella cibaria and Enteroccocusfeacalis.

Multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) is a systemic, dysfunctional inflammatory response that requires long intensive care unit (ICU) stay. It is characterized with high mortality rate depending on the number of organs involved. It has been recognized that organ failure does not occur as an all-or-none rule, but rather a range of organ dysfunction exists resulting in clinical organ failure. In the absence of a gold standard scoring or tool for early diagnosis or prediction of MODS, a novel bio-clinical scoring is mandatory. Moreover, understanding the pathophysiology of MODS in medical, surgical and trauma, ICUs should take a priority to achieve a favorable outcome. Herein we reviewed the literatures published in English language through the research engines (MEDLINE, Scopus, and EBASE) from 1982 to 2011 using key words: “multiorgan dysfunction”, “organ failure”, “intensive care units” to highlight the definition, mechanism, diagnosis and prediction of MODS particularly at its earliest stages. Bring up new bio-clinical scoring to a stage where it is ready for field trials will pave the way for implementing new risk-stratification strategy in the intensive care to reduce the morbidity and mortality and save resources. Prospective studies are needed to answer our question and to shift MODS from an inevitable to a preventable disorder.
