Using bidirectional links to improve peer-to-peer lookup performance

Efficient lookup is essential for peer-to-peer networks and Chord is a representative peer-to-peer lookup scheme based on distributed hash table (DHT). In peer-to-peer networks, each node maintains several unidirectional application layer links to other nodes and forwards lookup messages through such links. This paper proposes use of bidirectional links to improve the lookup performance in Chord. Every original unidirectional link is replaced by a bidirectional link, and accordingly every node becomes an anti-finger of all its finger nodes. Both theoretical analyses and experimental results indicate that these anti-fingers can help improve the lookup performance greatly with very low overhead.

Hydrolysis reactions are capable of directing the non-equilibrium assembly of biomolecular scaffolds to realize sophisticated structures and functions in natural ***,utilizing the proper hydrolysis reactions to construct controlled assemblies with complex topologies is still an arduous challenge in artificial systems and needs to be ***,we report a nitric oxide(NO)-triggered slow hydrolysis strategy for the controlled construction of biomimetic supramolecular toroids(STs),thus realizing their visualization of intermediate structures and regulation of geometry *** presented protocol harnesses hydrolysis reactions to control of non-equilibrium self-assembly processes for the construction of self-assemblies with complex topologies successfully,which sheds light on how the hydrolysis reaction rate can modulate the kinetic pathway of assembly,thus realizing the artificial establishment of bio-inspired hierarchical structures.

A micro sensor chip of High-field Asymmetric Waveform Ion Mobility Spectrometry(FAIMS) was designed and fabricated by inductively coupled plasma(ICP) etching on the both sides of silicon and double silicon-glass bonding,with dimensions of 18.8 mm×12.4 mm×*** sample ions were created at ambient pressure by VUV lamp ion source,which was equipped with a 10.6 eV photo discharge lamp(λ=116.5 nm).The 2-pentanone was adopted to illustrate the influences of high-field rectangular asymmetric waveform voltage amplitude,frequency and carrier gas flow rate on the performance of FAIMS sensor *** experiment results showed that with the frequency or carrier gas flow rate increasing,or voltage amplitude decreasing,the FAIMS sensitivity increases,and that the resolution decreases with the increasing of the frequency or flow *** FAIMS simulation results based on the SIMION software was in agreement with the experimental *** FAIMS detection sensitivity experiment showed that the FAIMS sensor chip can detect positive and negative ions simultaneously,and has detection sensitivity as low as 0.1 ppm for acetic acid.

绞股蓝多糖提高小鼠腹腔巨噬细胞免疫功能

研究不同浓度(12.5、25.0、50.0、100.0、200.0μg/mL)绞股蓝[Gynostemma pentaphyllum(Thunb.)Makino]多糖(GPP)对小鼠腹腔巨噬细胞的影响,探讨GPP对机体免疫功能的调节作用及其可能的作用机制。采用中性红法、Griess法、CCK8法、ELISA法和荧光定量PCR法检测小鼠腹腔巨噬细胞的吞噬能力、增殖、细胞因子(NO、LDH、TNF-α、IL-1β)的分泌量、CaM和GSα基因的表达水平。结果表明,GPP激活小鼠腹腔巨噬细胞,随着GPP浓度的增加小鼠腹腔巨噬细胞增殖能力增强,当GPP浓度为50.0、100.0、200.0μg/mL时,吸光度与空白对照处理相比差异显著;GPP刺激小鼠腹腔巨噬细胞后,吞噬能力强于空白对照处理,GPP浓度为200.0μg/mL时,小鼠腹腔巨噬细胞的吞噬能力最强;GPP促进小鼠腹腔巨噬细胞NO、LDH、TNF-α和IL-1β的分泌;GPP上调CaM和GSα基因的表达,GPP浓度为100.0、25.0μg/mL时CaM、GSα基因表达量分别达到最高。

To solve the key escrow problem of the identity-based cryptosystem, Girault introduced the notion of a self-certified public key, which not only eliminates the need to authenticate a public key but also solves the key escrow problem. This paper proposes a Self-Certified Signature (SCS) scheme with message recovery and two variants without using bilinear pairings: one is the authenticated encryption scheme in which only the designated receiver can verify the signature, and the other is the authenticated encryption scheme with message linkage that deals with large messages. These three SCS schemes are provably secure in the random oracle model and are more efficient than previous schemes.

Large animal models are essential to pre-clinical trials of pulmonary transplantation and bronchial anastomosis poses a great technical challenge to the *** here is a simplified continuous two-stitch suture technique into bronchial anastomosis during the course of left single lung transplantation in *** were divided into three groups with each group having 6 *** single lung transplantation in canine was performed to assess the feasibility of using this technique for bronchial *** the control groups,all anastomoses were done by using traditional *** functions and hemodynamic parameters were monitored during a 3-h reperfusion *** of bronchial healing and airway complications were assessed by bronchoscopic surveillance after *** successfully completed left lung transplantation in 18 dogs,and all the dogs survived the *** new technique substantially simplified the procedures for bronchial anastomosis and greatly reduced the time for bronchial anastomosis(P<<0.01)and the ischemic time of the grafts(P<0.05)compared to the control *** continuous two-stitch suture attenuated the tissue injury to allografts and led to better blood gas exchange function as compared to the control group(P<0.05).Good bronchial healing(Grade I)was observed in all the groups.A canine left single lung transplantation model is feasible by using the novel suture technique,and the new technique is as safe as the traditional *** technique is easy to learn,particularly for less experienced *** and time-saving,the technique has great potential to be widely employed in clinical lung transplantation.

为探究燃气罐车泄漏射流火的火灾特性,本文通过缩尺寸实验台开展实验,研究了横风风速、泄漏流量以及泄漏孔径对射流火行为及罐体表面温度变化特征的影响.研究表明:横风风速越大,火焰高度越低,最大降幅超过0.4 m.此外,横风会加剧罐体表面受到的火焰热反馈效果,进而引发罐体表面最大温度的进一步升高;最后,从火羽流热浮力以及环境风诱导惯性力的耦合角度出发,分析了横风对射流火火焰几何特征的影响机制;并根据火焰及烟气对罐体表面的辐射、对流传热作用,建立了横风作用下气罐车泄漏射流火的最大温度模型.

针对传统可证明数据持有(Provable Data Possession,PDP)方案中要求客户端是诚实的这一问题,基于区块链技术提出了公平的可证明数据持有方案.在传统PDP方案中,总是假定服务器是半诚实而客户端是可信的,这对服务器而言是不公平的.在基于区块链的公平PDP方案中,用于检验的元数据不再由客户端生成,而是由区块链节点生成并对其达成共识.因此,借助区块链的分布式信任性质可以实现PDP方案的互信机制,保证客户端和云服务器之间的公平性.同时,利用哈希函数、Pedersen承诺实现高效的公平PDP方案.分析所提方案的安全性、计算开销、通信开销以及冗余率.分析结果表明,在保障安全性的基础上,所提方案比同类方案具有更优的计算开销、通信开销及冗余率.
