Radical-mediated sp^(3)C—H functionalization has found broad applications in synthesis and late-stage derivatization of complex molecules.The site-selectivity of a given reaction is mainly dictated by the bond strength,polarity and steric accessibility of diverse C—H bonds as well as the characters of hydrogen atom acceptors.Unactivated sp^(3)C—H bonds usually follow the relative reactivity sequence of tertiary>secondary>primary,which is even recognized as the innate preferences of certain substrates.The development of innovative methods capable of overriding the“inherent”site-selectivity is exceedingly attractive.Although it has been demonstrated that secondary C—H bonds could be selectively converted in the presence of weaker tertiary C—H bonds by tuning the steric and electronic properties of hydrogen atom acceptors,the selective activation of primary C—H bonds remains a daunting challenge.Herein,we highlight the recently emerging attempts towards this goal by interrogating the steric effect of hydrogen atom acceptors.

抗战时期,中共中央在陕甘宁边区实施的回族情况的社会调查,弄清了回族群众生产、生活状况,为制定切实的民族政策提供了决策依据。它丰富了党的民族工作方法,实现了党的民族工作创新,为解放战争期间解放回族同胞、开展回族群众工作提供了参考。边区回族情况的社会调查统计推动了党的民族理论发展和成熟,对党的民族政策形成、发展具有促进作用,尤其是回民自治乡的建立为后来的民族区域自治提供了蓝本,在党的民族政策的历史中具有重要地位。

Cellular metabolism is an intricate network satisfying bioenergetic and biosynthesis requirements of cells.Relevant studies have been constantly making inroads in our understanding of pathophysiology,and inspiring development of therapeutics.As a crucial component of epigenetics at post-transcription level,RNA modification significantly determines RNA fates,further affecting various biological processes and cellular phenotypes.To be noted,immunometabolism defines the metabolic alterations occur on immune cells in different stages and immunological contexts.In this review,we characterize the distribution features,modifying mechanisms and biological functions of 8 RNA modifications,including N6-methyladenosine(m6A),N6,2'-O-dimethyladenosine(m6Am),N1-methyladenosine(m1A),5-methylcytosine(m5C),N4-acetylcytosine(ac4C),N7-methylguanosine(m7G),Pseudouridine(V),adenosine-to-inosine(A-to-l)editing,which are relatively the most studied types.Then regulatory roles of these RNA modification on metabolism in diverse health and disease contexts are comprehensively described,categorized as glucose,lipid,amino acid,and mitochondrial metabolism.And we highlight the regulation of RNA modifications on immunometabolism,further influencing immune responses.Above all,we provide a thorough discussion about clinical implications of RNA modification in metabolism-targeted therapy and immunotherapy,progression of RNA modification-targeted agents,and its potential in RNAtargeted therapeutics.Eventually,we give legitimate perspectives for future researches in this field from methodological requirements,mechanistic insights,to therapeutic applications.

[目的]从区域资源综合利用与水土资源管理角度探讨干旱地区土壤盐碱地治理问题,旨在寻求旱区盐碱地治理与开发利用新模式,以创新旱区盐碱地治理观念与技术,为旱区农业可持续发展、生态保护和环境治理提供支撑。[方法]根据在陕西、宁夏和新疆等省区的野外调查和研究经验,结合有关水土资源高效利用研究成果,通过综合分析目前国内外盐碱地治理方法中存在的主要问题,提出了一种旱区盐碱地水土资源高效利用的管理新模式。[结果]旱区盐碱地水土资源管理新模式是通过高效水调控促进土盐—水盐分离(简称:旱区盐碱地双分离治理模式),可以综合概括为"减少区域水损失,低耗水充分洗盐,集约化水盐分离,水土资源高效利用"。其中"减少区域水损失"是旱区水资源管理与生态保障的前提,"低耗水充分洗盐"是节省洗盐的时间成本和水资源成本的基础,"集约化水盐分离"是实现水盐分离和水盐分别再利用的核心技术,"水土资源高效利用"是旱区农业发展用水的核心经济原则。[结论]旱区盐碱地双分离治理模式通过集约化水土资源管理,可以提高水盐分离效率,提升土地和水资源利用效率,其资源、环境和生态风险小,治理效益持续时间长,有助于维持和提升盐碱地治理的区域经济功能和生态系统服务价值。

Fabrication of nickel oxide functionalized zeolite USY composite as a promising adsorbent for CO_(2) capture

Adsorption process is considered to be the most promising alternative for the CO_(2) capture to the traditional energy-intensive amine absorption process,and the development of feasible and efficient CO_(2) adsorbents is still a challenge.In this work,the NiO@USY(ultrastable Y)composites with different NiO loadings were prepared for the CO_(2) adsorption using Ni(NO_(3))_(2) as the precursor.The composites were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,nitrogen adsorption–desorption test,scanning electron microscopy analysis,and thermogravimetric analysis,and were evaluated for the CO_(2) adsorption capacity,CO_(2)/N2 adsorption selectivity and CO_(2) cycle adsorption capacity.The characterization results show that after the activation at 423 K,the Ni(NO_(3))_(2) species were well dispersed into the surface of zeolite USY,and after the further activation at 823 K,Ni(NO_(3))_(2) could be converted into highly dispersed NiO.The adsorption results show that the presence of the active component NiO plays an important role in improving the CO_(2) adsorption performance,and the NiO@USY composite with a NiO loading of 1.5 mmol·g^(-1) USY support displays a high adsorption capacity and adsorption selectivity for CO_(2),and shows a good cycle stability.In addition,the Clausius–Clapeyron equation was used to evaluate the isosteric heat of adsorption of CO_(2) on the NiO(1.5)@USY composite,and the heat of adsorption was 17.39–38.34 kJ·mol^(-1).

Appropriate management of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)is very important because such exacerbation negatively impacts patients’health status,disease progression,and mortality.Exacerbation episodes are mainly triggered by viral and bacterial infections,and one study showed that 55%of hospitalized patients with AECOPD had a bacterial infection.[1]Some analyses have suggested that antibiotic therapy can reduce the risk of short-term mortality and improve the prognosis.However,not all patients with AECOPD benefit from antibiotic therapy.The blood eosinophil count has been used as a biomarker for eosinophil-associated airway inflammation and sepsis.However,the association between the peripheral blood eosinophil count and bacterial pathogens has not been reported.Our aim was to analyze the associations among the eosinophil count,bacterial pathogens,clinical treatments,and prognosis of patients and provide useful and comprehensive references for AECOPD management.

Aiming at the problems of low accuracy and slow convergence speed of current intrusion detection models,SpiralConvolution is combined with Long Short-Term Memory Network to construct a new intrusion detection model.The dataset is first preprocessed using solo thermal encoding and normalization functions.Then the spiral convolution-Long Short-Term Memory Network model is constructed,which consists of spiral convolution,a two-layer long short-term memory network,and a classifier.It is shown through experiments that the model is characterized by high accuracy,small model computation,and fast convergence speed relative to previous deep learning models.The model uses a new neural network to achieve fast and accurate network traffic intrusion detection.The model in this paper achieves 0.9706 and 0.8432 accuracy rates on the NSL-KDD dataset and the UNSWNB-15 dataset under five classifications and ten classes,respectively.

Empirical evidence for estimation of subsurface settlement caused by tunneling in sand

Tunneling is vital for augmenting urban infrastructure systems in big cities.However,the ground movement or settlement induced by tunneling can cause significant damage to the surrounding buildings,bridges,roadways,pipelines,and so on.Several theoretical and empirical methods have been proposed to estimate the settlement trough at the ground surface caused by tunneling.Subsurface settlement caused by tunneling in clay has been investigated extensively to evaluate the safety of pipelines and foundations above tunnels based on the assumption of a constant volume of the settlement trough along the depth.However,subsurface settlement induced by tunneling in sand has not been understood well due to the change of volume of settlement trough along the depth.Even though an empirical method was developed by the author based on lab-scale model test results,it has not been validated using observational data from case histories.In this study,three case histories from the literature were used to verify the effectiveness of the aforementioned empirical method for estimating the subsurface settlement caused by tunneling in sand.The comparison of the calculated results and measurements from the case histories demonstrates that the empirical method is effective to predict the subsurface settlement caused by tunneling in sand.

Sonodynamic therapy has attracted widespread attention for cancer treatment because of its noninvasiveness and high tissuepenetration ability.Generally,ultrasound irradiation of sonosensitizers produces separated electrons(e−)and holes(h+),which inhibits cancer by producing reactive oxygen species(ROS).However,the separated electrons(e−)and holes(h+)could easily recombine,lowering the yield of ROS and hindering the application of sonodynamic therapy(SDT).Herein,we present a highly efficient sonosensitizer system for enhanced sonodynamic therapy built on reduced graphene oxide(rGO)nanosheets,bridged ZnO and Au nanoparticles,coated with polyvinyl pyrrolidone(PVP).The ultrasound irradiation activates ZnO nanoparticles to generate separated electron–hole(e−–h+)pairs,and the rGO nanosheets facilitate electron transfer from ZnO to Au nanoparticles because of the narrow band gap of rGO,which could efficiently restrain the recombination of the e−–h+pairs,thereby significantly augmenting the production of ROS to kill cancer cells,such as U373MG,HeLa,and CT26 cells.Moreover,rGO nanosheets integrated with Au nanoparticles could catalyze the endogenous decomposition of H_(2)O_(2) into O_(2),which can alleviate hypoxic tumor microenvironment(TME).Therefore,the rational design of Au-rGO-ZnO@PVP nanomaterials can not only improve the efficiency of sonodynamic therapy,but also mitigate the hypoxic tumor microenvironment,which would provide a new perspective in the development of efficient sonosensitizers.
