The development of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)remote sensing has been increasingly applied in forestry for high-throughput and rapid acquisition of tree phenomics traits for various research ***,the detection of individual trees and the extraction of their spectral data remain a challenge,often requiring manual *** several software-based solutions have been developed,they are far from being widely *** paper presents ExtspecR,an open-source tool for spectral extraction of a single tree in forestry with an easy-to-use interactive web *** reduces the time required for single tree detection and annotation and simplifies the entire process of spectral and spatial feature extraction from UAV-based *** addition,ExtspecR provides several functionalities with interactive dashboards that allow users to maximize the quality of information extracted from UAV *** can promote the practical use of UAV remote sensing data among forest ecology and tree breeding researchers and help them to further understand the relationships between tree growth and its physiological traits.

With the advent of the patient-centered health care concept, thoracic surgeons of the modern era are called to minimize at most the overall invasiveness of their performances, while increasing safety and effectiveness as much as possible. This need has driven an outstanding development of minimallyinvasive surgical approaches, which are now the standard to perform a broad spectrum of thoracic operations. A recent and fascinating evolution in this field is represented by the increasing interest toward the use of so-called ＂nonintubated＂ anesthesia protocol, which are expected to provide a further improvement in postsurgical outcomes （1-8）.

Digital Twin(DT)is a pivotal application under the industrial digital transformation envisaged by the fourth industrial revolution(Industry 4.0).DT defines intelligent and real-time faithful reflections of physical entities such as industrial robots,thus allowing their remote *** on the latest advances in Information and Communication Technologies(ICT),namely Network Function Virtualization(NFV)and Edge-computing,DT can be deployed as an on-demand service in the factories close proximity and offered leveraging radio access ***,with the purpose of achieving the well-known scalability,flexibility,availability and performance guarantees benefits foreseen by the latest ICT,it is steadily required to experimentally profile and assess DT as a service(DTaas)***,the dependencies between the resources claimed by the service and the relative demand and work loads require to be *** this work,an Edge-based Digital Twin solution for remote control of robotic arms is deployed in an experimental testbed where,in compliance with the NFV paradigm,the service has been segmented in virtual network *** research has primarily the objective to evaluate the entanglement among overall service performance and VNFs resource requirements,and the number of robots consuming the service *** profiles show the most critical DT features to be the inverse kinematics and trajectory ***,the same analysis has been carried out as a function of the industrial processes,namely based on the commands imposed on the robots,and particularly of their ion-level,resulting in a novel trade-off between computing and time resources requirements and trajectory *** derived results provide crucial insights for the design of network service scaling and resource orchestration fra-meworks dealing with DTaas ***,we empirically prove LTE shortage to accommodate the minimum DT latency requirements.

T cell-mediated immune therapies have emerged as a promising treatment modality in different malignancies including colorectal cancer(CRC).However,only a fraction of patients currently respond to *** the lack of responses and finding biomarkers with predictive value is of great *** is evidence that CRC is a heterogeneous disease and several classification systems have been proposed that are based on genomic instability,immune cell infiltration,stromal content and molecular subtypes of gene *** leukocyte antigen class Ⅰ(HLA-Ⅰ)plays a pivotal role in presenting processed antigens to T lymphocytes,including tumour *** molecules are frequently lost in different types of cancers,including CRC resulting in tumour immune escape from cytotoxic T lymphocytes during the natural history of cancer *** aim of this review is to(i)summarize the prevalence and molecular mechanisms behind HLA-Ⅰ loss in CRC,(ii)discuss HLA-Ⅰ expression/loss in the context of the newly identified CRC molecular subtypes,(iii)analyze the HLA-Ⅰ phenotypes of CRC metastases disseminated via blood or the lymphatic system,(iv)discuss strategies to recover/circumvent HLA-I expression/loss and finally(v)review the role of HLA class Ⅱ(HLA-Ⅱ)in CRC prognosis.

Although hepatocellular carcinoma is considered a highly lethal malignancy,recent therapeutic advances have been achieved during the last 10 *** scenario resulted in an unprecedented improvement in survival for patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma,almost reaching 20-26 mo of overall survival after first-second line sequential *** advent of the combination of atezolizumab with bevacizumab showed,for the first time,superiority over sorafenib with improvement in overall ***,first and second-line trials were correctly based on the premise that a strict selection of patients enhances the power to capture the positive effect of treatment by excluding competing risks for mortality such as liver failure,decompensated cirrhosis or other underlying medical *** a result,the inclusion criteria used in clinical trials do not support the use of novel therapies in several real-world scenarios involving underrepresented subgroups,such as patients with unpreserved liver function,other comorbid conditions,a history of solid-organ transplantation,autoimmune disorders and those with a high risk of *** present text aims at discussing treatment strategies in these subgroups.

Prevalence of overweightedness in patients with gastro-esophageal reflux

AIM: To evaluate whether the prevalence of overweight and obese conditions is increased in gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD) patients (with 24-h pathological pH recordings) in comparison to general population. METHODs: A total of 196 consecutive patients (103 females, age range 18-83 years) with symptoms of gastro-esophageal reflux (GER) and 24-h pathological esophageal pH-metry. Body mass index (BMI) of the patients was calculated and its distribution (%) was compared with that of the Italian general population as assessed by National Bureau of Census (IsTAT). To evaluate the association of GERD with weight categories, the binomial test was employed. P s considered statistically significant. REsULTs: In males, overweightedness (BMI 25-25.9) was present in 43% of GERD patients vs 41.8% of Italian population (IP) (ns), obesity (BMI ≥ 30) in 10.9% vs 9.1% (ns). In females overweight was present in 34.9% of GERD patients vs 25.7% of IP (P sity in 13.6% of GERD patients vs 9.1% of IP (P statistically significant differences were noted in different age classes. CONCLUsION: In comparison to the Italian general population, the prevalence of overweightedness and obesity is increased in female but not in male patients with ascertained gastro-esophageal reflux disease.

Consumer attitudes towards the mountain product label: Implications for mountain development

To protect and promote the originality and authenticity of mountain foodstuffs, the European Union set Regulation No 1151/2012 to create the optional quality term "mountain product". Our research aimed at exploring the attractiveness of the mountain product label for consumers, considering both attitude towards the label itself and purchase intentions. We propose a model to investigate relationships between four latent constructs-mountain attractiveness, mountain food attractiveness, attitude towards the mountain product label, and purchase intention-which have been tested, thus confirming the statistical relevance of the relationships. All 47 items selected for describing the latent constructs are suitable for this purpose. Ridge and LAssO results also show that 17 items of the first three constructs are relevant in explaining purchase intentions. some contextual variables, such as age, income, geographical origin of consumers, and knowledge of mountain products and mountains for tourism purposes, can positively influence consumers’ behavior. These findings could support the design of mountain development strategies, in particular marketing actions for both the product and the territory.

Unusual Case of Unilateral Neonatal Eyeball Luxation: A Case Report

The newborn infant presented with severe proptosis. Data on clinical history, presentation, photos, radiological imaging, and laboratory results were presented. A literature review was conducted for the case and relevant treatment modalities. The surgical technique and the outcome were also discussed. The mass was present since birth in a full term neonate, causing complete globe dislocation of the left eye. Imaging showed a large cystic retro-bulbar mass completely occupying the orbital cavity and causing anterior dislocation of the left globe. surgical excision of the tumor was carried out with globe preservation and Histopathology examination confirmed the diagnosis of optic nerve glioma. This was an atypical presentation of an optic nerve glioma causing globe dislocation in a neonate. The resection of such a large orbital tumor made globe preservation possible and resulted in an excellent cosmetic outcome. .
