In this work,We are looking at the characteristics of micropolar flow in a porous channel that’s being driven by suction or *** working of the fluid is described in the *** can reduce the governing nonlinear partial differential equations(PDEs)to a model of coupled systems of nonlinear ordinary differential equations using similarity variables(ODEs).In order to obtain the results of a coupled system of nonlinear ODEs,we discuss a method which is known as the differential transform method(DtM).the concern transform is an excellent mathematical tool to obtain the analytical series solution to the nonlinear *** observe beast agreement between analytical method and numerical method,we compare our result with the Rung-Kutta method of order four(RK4).We also provide simulation plots to the obtained result by using *** plots,we discuss the effect of different parameters which arise during the calculation of the flow model equations.

Cotton growth and development is influenced by various uncontrollable environmental conditions. temperature variations in the field can be created by planting at different dates. the objective of the present study was to evaluate the effect of planting dates and thermal temperatures（growing degree days） on yield of 4 cotton genotypes, viz., CIM-598, CIM-599, CIM-602 and Ali Akbar-703. Plants were subjected to 6 planting dates during 2013 and 2014 in a trial conducted in randomized complete block design with four replications. For boll number, boll weight and seed cotton yield, cotton genotypes exhibited significant differences, CIM-599 produced the highest seed cotton yield of 2 062 kg ha^（–1） on account of maximum boll number and boll weight. the highest seed cotton yield was recorded in planting dates from 15 th April to 1st May whereas early and delayed planting reduced the yield due to less accumulation of heat units. Regression analysis revealed that increase of one unit（15 days） from early to optimum date（15th March to 15 th April） increased yield by 93.58 kg ha^–1. Delay in planting also decreased the seed cotton yield with the same ratio. thus it is concluded that cotton must be sown from 15 th April to 1st May to have good productivity in this kind of environment.

Extraction Properties of Calix[4]arenes towards Sulphonated Dyes

Extraction of sulphonated dyes through supramolecular interaction with calix[4]arene derivatives is being presented here. the selectivity of calixarene derivatives namely piperidine derivative of calix[4]arene (calix-1), 1-methyl piperazine derivative of calix[4]arene (calix-2), and di-methyl amine derivative of calix[4]arene (calix-3) were evaluated initially against reactive red 2 (RR-2), acid black (AB), reactive blue 19 (B-19) and synthetic dye (D-2) by liquid-liquid extraction experiment. the results showed that the above three calixarenes possess excellent complexation abilities toward the selected dyes. the stoichiometric ratio for the calixarene derivatives and dyes was estimated through Job’s plot, whereas Hildebrand-Benesi equation was used to calculate formation constant (Ks) and molar absorptivity (Δε) of complexes. the binding association (Ka) and dissociation (Kd) constants were calculated by Scatchard plot additionally to further support the complexation data obtained from Hildebrand-Benesi equation. Conversely association constants from, both Hildebrand-Benesi equation and Scatchard plot i.e. Ks and Ka favor strong binding interaction between calix-1: D-2, calix-2: B-19, and calix-3: AB complexes. thus present study adeptly supports the complexation of calixarene derivatives for sulfonated dyes.

Accidental Diagnosis of Infections among Blood Donors

ntroduction: Due to widespread incidence and prevalence, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B (HBV) and C (HCV), syphilis and malaria are the most common viral infections transmitted via blood transfusions. Yet there is insufficient information available about the exact prevalence of these infections among blood donors in Pakistan. the objectives of current study are to highlight the importance of blood screening among blood donors by finding the prevalence of high-risk transmissible diseases such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV, syphilis and malaria in the population of Nawabshah (Sindh) and to compare it with other provinces. Methods: A descriptive type of cross-sectional study was conducted on 37,845 blood donor volunteers at the blood bank of a tertiary care hospital, Peoples University of Medical and Health Sciences Hospital, in Nawabshah Sindh from 1st January 2018 to 31st December 2018. the data was taken from the well-maintained yearly record of the hospital blood bank. Analysis of all the data regarding blood donors was done using Statistical Program of Special Sciences (SPSS) version 20. Results: the most common age group was between 18 - 40 years. Donors were predominantly male (90%). HBV is the most prevalent disease amongst the blood donors of Peoples Medical College with a prevalence of 6.52% while HIV, HCV and malaria were 6.33%, 5.83% and 1.24% respectively whereas Syphilis is the least prevalent disease with a prevalence of 1.11%. Comparing with other provinces, the highest prevalence of hepatitis B was seen in Peoples Medical College, Nawabshah, Sindh whereas for hepatitis C it was the highest in Isra University Hospital, Hyderabad, Sindh. Moreover, Hayatabad Medical Complex in Peshawar was the least burdened with Hepatitis B (1.46%) and C (1.34%). Conclusion: Accidental diagnosis of blood-borne infections including Hepatitis B, C, HIV, Syphilis and malaria highlights importance of blood screening among the blood donors. there is a need

A new metabolite,named seimatoric acid（1）,representing a new oxobutanoic acid derivative has been isolated from Seimatosporium sp., in addition to four known compounds viz.,2-hydroxymethyl-4β,5α,6β-trihydroxycyclohex-2-enone（2）,（-）-phyllostine（3）,（＋）-epiepoxydon（4） and（＋）-epoxydon monoacetate（5）.Similarly one new benzoic acid derivative,named colletonoic acid（6） was isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of Colletotrichum *** structures of the new compounds were elucidated by detailed ^1 H NMR,^13C NMR,COSY,*** spectroscopic analysis,and *** acid（1）was also isolated from another taxonomical unidentified fungal strain 4295 in *** structures of the known compounds were elucidated by their spectral data comparison to literature *** studies showed that colletonoic acid（6） showed good antibacterial,antifungal,and antialgal activities.

Xanthomonas oryzae ***(Xoo),the causal agent of bacterial leaf blight in rice,delivers transcription activator-like effector(tALE)proteins into host cells to activate susceptibility or resistance(R)genes that promote disease or immunity,*** plants serve as potential reservoirs of R genes;consequently,nonhost R genes may trap tALEs to trigger an immune *** this study,we screened 17 Xoo tALEs for their ability to induce a hypersensitive response(HR)in the nonhost plant Nicotiana benthamiana(Nb);only AvrXa10 elicited an HR when transiently expressed in *** HR generated by AvrXa10 required both the central repeat region and the activation domain,suggesting a specific interaction between AvrXa10 and a potential R-like gene in nonhost *** blue staining and ion leakage measurements confirmed that the AvrXa10-triggered HR was a form of cell death,and the transient expression of AvrXa10 in Nb induced immune *** targeted by AvrXa10 in the Nb genome were identified by transcriptome profiling and prediction of effector binding *** several approaches(in vivo reporter assays,electrophoretic mobility-shift assays,targeted designer tALEs,and on-spot gene silencing),we confirmed that AvrXa10 targets NbZnFP1,a C2H2-type zinc finger protein that resides in the *** analysis indicated that overexpression of NbZnFP1 and its rice orthologs triggered cell death in rice *** NbZnFP1 ortholog was also identified in tomato and was specifically activated by *** results demonstrate that NbZnFP1 is a nonhost R gene that traps AvrXa10 to promote plant immunity in Nb.
