multiple Phase Change materials for Performance Enhancement of a Solar Dryer with Double Pass Collector

The fluctuation in drying temperature influences the food products’quality and drying time significantly during the drying process using an indirect solar *** of the effective methods to reduce these variations in the temperature is based on thermal storage materials to control the drying *** experimental investigation is presented in this study to evaluate the performance of an indirect solar dryer with air double pass using multiple phase change materials(PCm)as thermal storage *** PCms with different melting points are used to store the available heat energy during peak sunshine periods and reduce the drying temperature *** tests on a food product sample are conducted in three cases,the first was without PCms using natural *** second and third cases are based on forced convection with and without using multiple PCms under Baghdad city *** results showed that;approximately a steady temperature of hot drying air was obtained during relatively low ambient temperatures when the dryer was incorporated with multiple *** drying time of the product sample for the natural,forced convection without PCms and forced with PCms was 87,72 and 47 h,*** higher performance of the dryer was for the forced convection with *** reduction percentage in drying time was about 17.2%and 46%for the forced convection without and with PCms respectively compared with natural *** average drying rate for the natural,forced without PCms and forced convection with PCms was 0.0093,0.0135 and 0.0172 kg/h,*** enhancement in thermal efficiency of the solar collector and drying chamber with multiple PCms was 43%and 25.5%,respectively,compared with a typical solar dryer.

The objective of this investigation is to assess the effect of obstacles on numerical heat transfer and fluid flow momentum in a rectangular microchannel(mC).Two distinct configurations were studied:one without obstacles and the other with alternating obstacles placed on the upper and lower *** research utilized the thermal lattice Boltzmann method(LBm),which solves the energy and momentum equations of fluids with the BGK approximation,implemented in a Python coding *** jump and slip velocity conditions were utilized in the simulation for the mC and extended to all obstacle *** study aims to analyze the rarefaction effect,with Knudsen numbers(Kn)of 0.012,0.02,and *** outcomes indicate that rarefaction has a significant impact on the velocity and temperature *** presence of nine obstacles led to slower fluid movement inside the microchannel mC,resulting in faster cooling at the *** mCs with obstacles,the rarefaction effect plays a crucial role in decreasing the Nusselt number(Nu)and skin friction coefficient(Cf).Furthermore,the study demonstrated that the obstacles played a crucial role in boosting fluid flow and heat transfer in the *** findings suggest that the examined configurations could have potential applications as cooling technologies in micro-electro-mechanical systems and microdevice applications.

Current image steganography methods are working by assigning an image as a cover file then embed the payload within it by modifying its pixels,creating the stego ***,the left traces that are caused by these modifications will make steganalysis algorithms easily detect the hidden payload.A coverless data hiding concept is proposed to solve this *** does not mean that cover is not required,or the payload can be transmitted without a ***,the payload is embedded by cover generation or a secret message mapping between the cover file and the *** this paper,a new coverless image steganography method has been proposed based on the jigsaw puzzle image generation driven by a secret ***,the image is divided into equal rows then further divided into equal columns,creating blocks(i.e.,sub-images).Then,according to secret message bits and a proposed mapping function,each block will have tabs/blanks to get the shape of a puzzle piece creating a fully shaped jigsaw puzzle *** that,the generated jigsaw puzzle image is sent to the *** results and analysis show a good performance in the hiding capacity,security,and robustness compared with existing coverless image steganography methods.

Serotonin is one of the significant signaling molecules used by several neural systems in the gut and brain. This study aimed to develop a novel and potent tracer for targeting, detecting, and imaging serotonin receptors(5-HTRs), which is a promising tool in the determination of the receptor’s function and relationship with the diseases related to serotonin and its receptor dysfunction. Serotonin was effectively labeled via a direct electrophilic substitutional reaction using an oxidizing agent such as iodogen with 125I in a neutral medium, and 125I-serotonin was achieved with a maximum labeling yield of 91 ± 0.63% with in vitro stability up to 24 h. molecular modeling was conducted to signify 125I-serotonin structure and confirm that the radiolabeling process did not affect serotonin binding ability to its receptors. Biodistribution studies show that the maximum gastro intestinal tract uptake of 125I-serotonin was 17.8 ± 0.93% ID/organ after 30 min postinjection and the tracer’s ability to pass the blood–brain barrier. Thus, 125I-serotonin is a promising single photon emission computed tomography tracer in the detection of 5 HTRs.

This report describes in vitro micropropagation of Boscia senegalensis,so-called famine foods,that helped the people in Darfur and Kordofan,Sudan survive during the 1984-1985 *** types of explants prepared from green mature zygotic embryos were cultured on murashige and Skoog (mS) medium augmented with 1-5 mg/L 6-benzyladenine (BA).The highest number of shoots per explant (14.3±0.9) was achieved on mS medium supplemented with 3 mg/L BA,while the highest shoot length [(3.5±0.4) cm] was obtained with 1 mg/L *** shoot cluster,when subcultured to its same medium,significantly increased the rate of shoot multiplication by the end of the third *** maximum mean number of shoots per explant (86.5±3.6) was produced after three multiplication cycles on 3 mg/L BA-supplemented *** vitro induced shoots were excised and rooted on half strength mS medium fortified with 0.25 mg/L indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) to obtain complete ***-regenerated plantlets obtained in vitro for the first time,were hardened and 95% survived under greenhouse conditions.

Physicochemical and Analytical Studies of Some monomer and Polymer Complexes Derived from Selected Aroyl Hydrazone

New solid complexes derived from the reaction of aroyl hydrazones, 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde benzene sulphonyl hydrazone (HNB), and 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde p-toluene sulphonyl hydrazone (HNT), with Co2+, Ni2+, and Cu2+ salts have been isolated and characterized using elemental analyses, spectral (UV-vis., IR), molar conductivity and magnetic measurements. The modes of bonding as well as the stereochemistry of the isolated solid complexes were discussed. The results suggested that both HNB and HNT coordinated with the metal ions in a bidentate manner forming a polymeric chain in the case of HNB while monocular complexes were formed in the case of HNT. The amounts of solvent in the solid complexes were determined by TGA measurements. Also, spectral studies of HNT with Co2+ and Fe3+ ions in solution were carried and the ratio of complexes was determined by continuous variation, molar ratio, and slope ratio methods. moreover, the results suggest the formation of 1:1 (m:L) for Co2+ ions while three species with ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 2:1 (m:L) have been observed in the case of Ni2+ and Cu2+. Finally, conductance titration of HNB and HNT with Co2+ ion elucidates the formation of two species with ratios 1:1 and 1:2 (m:L) in the case of the Co2+-HNB while 1:1 (m:L) belongs to the Co2+-HNT system.

Fibre-Reinforced Generalized Thermoelastic medium Subjected to Gravity Field

The present paper is aimed at studying the effects of thermal relaxation time and gravity of a two-dimensional problem with anisotropic semi-infinite solid media with the deformation of fiber-reinforced generalized thermoplastic. The harmonic function techniques are used. The thermal stresses, temperature and displacement have been obtained. These expressions are calculated numerically for two values of elastic constants for mediums m1 and m2 respectively. The results obtained are displayed by graphs to clear the phenomena physical meaning. The results indicate that the effect of gravity, relaxation times and parameters of fibre-reinforced of the material medium are very pronounced.
