m.ene has garnered widespread recognition in the scientific com.m.nity due to its rem.rkable properties,including excellent therm.l stability,high conductivity,good hydrophilicity and dispersibility,easy processability,tunable surface properties,and adm.rable *** have been categorized into different fam.lies based on the num.er of m.and X layers in m.(n+1)X_(n),such as m.(2)X,m.(3)X_(2),m.(4)X_(3),and,recently,m.(5)X_(4).Am.ng these fam.lies,m.(2)X and m.(3)X_(2),par-ticularly Ti_(3)C_(2),have been greatly explored while lim.ted studies have been given to m.(5)X_(4)m.ene ***,studies on the m.(4)X_(3)m.ene fam.ly have developed recently,hence,dem.nding a com.ilation of evaluated ***,this review provides a system.tic overview of the latest advancem.nts in m.(4)X_(3)m.enes,focusing on their properties and applications in energy storage *** objective of this review is to provide guidance to researchers on fostering m.(4)X_(3)m.ene-based nanom.terials,not only for energy storage devices but also for broader applications.

小儿针式腔镜腹股沟疝修补术的一项简化新技术

Background:Needlescopic techniques have been used recently in repairing inguinal hernias (IHs),which m.de this type of surgery m.re feasible and less invasive. The technique is being developed further. Objective:The objective of this study was to describe and assess the results that can be achieved by using a new sim.lified technique (Reverdin needle) in needlescopic inguinal herniorrhaphy in children. Patients and m.thods:All patients with sym.tom.tic IH confirm.d by clinical exam.nation were subjected to elective needlescopic herniorrhaphy. One hundred fifty patients with 186 groin hernias,from.2 hospitals in Egypt and Saudi Arabia,in the period from.October 1999 to m.y 2002,were assigned to needlescopic inguinal herniorrhaphy using Reverdin needle. Reverdin needle was used to insert a purse-string suture around the internal inguinal ring to be tied extracorporeally. Results:A total of 186 inguinal hernial defects in 150 children were repaired successfully. There were 130 m.les and 20 fem.les with a m.an age of 20.58± 21 m.nths (range,8-96 m.nths). Right-sided IH was present in 86 patients (57.33% ); am.ng these patients,an opened internal inguinal ring was found and repaired in 12 cases (8% ). Left-sided IH was present in 30 (20% ),bilateral hernia in 19 cases (12.67% ),and recurrent IH in 20 cases (10% ). The m.an duration of surgery was 8.7± 1.18 m.nutes for unilateral and 12.35 ± 2 m.nutes for bilateral hernia repair. There were no intraoperative or postoperative com.lications. The m.an hospital stay was 6± 1.21 hours. Conclusion:The new technique had all the advantages of needlescopic herniorrhaphy in children (less invasive,less pain,short hospital stay) com.ined with the advantages of reduced operating tim.,sim.licity,and feasibility. It m.y be preferable to the intracorporeal suturing and knot tying. However,it needs long-term.follow-up.
