Starting from.2-im.no-N-phenyl-2H-chrom.ne-3-carbox-am.de, (1) a series of functionalized chrom.nes were achieved;such as, 2-ethoxy-2,3-dihydro-3-phenylchrom.no[2,3-d]pyrim.din-4-one (2), and 2-hydrazinyl-2,3-dihydro-3-phenylchrom.no-[2,3-d]pyrim.din-4-one (3). Furtherm.re, reactions of (3) with som. of laboratory available com.ounds gave pyrazoles (4-9, 12, 13a, 13b), tetrazoles (11), 2-(2-benzylidenehydrazinyl)-3-phenyl-3H-chrom.no[2,3-d]pyrim.din4(10H)-oneisoxazoles (14), 5-chloro-1-(4-oxo-3-phenyl-4,10-dihydro-3H-chrom.no[2,3-d]pyrim.din-2-yl)-3-phenyl-2, 3-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-4-carbonitrile (17), pyrim.dines (28a, b), pyridines (29a-29e, 30, 33a, 33b), benzo[b][1, 4]oxazepin-2- am.nes (32a, b), 3-chloro-4-(2-im.no-2H-chrom.n-3-yl)-1-phenyl-4-(phenylam.no) azetidin-2-one (34a-34e) and 2-(2- im.no-2H-chrom.n-3-yl)-3-phenyl-2-(phenyl am.no)thiazolidin-4-onee (35a-35e). The structures of these com.ounds were established by elem.ntal analysis, IR, m. and Nm. spectral analysis.

m.ringa oleifera is well known as a highly nutritious plant and a water purifier in fish *** fish has m.ny im.ressive qualities m.king them.very suitable for ***,this study aim.d to evaluate the effect of supplem.ntation of m.ringa oleifera aqueous extract(m.AE)at varying concentrations(0,100,200,and 400 m./kg diet for 90 days)on growth perform.nce,hem.tological,and som. biochem.cal param.ters of Nile ***,histological changes and im.unohistochem.cal expression of caspase 3 in gills and livers were *** enhancem.nts(Pells,hem.globin,packed cell volum.,white blood cells,and total serum.protein were observed in fish fed 200 m. m.AE/kg diet com.ared with other ***,a significant reduction(Pm. m.AE/kg diet revealed disturbance in the corresponding *** histological degenerative changes were detected in the gills and liver of fish fed 400 m. m.AE/kg *** com.arison,fish fed 200 m. m.AE/kg diet showed the best histo-architectures of these organs com.ared with other *** im.une expressions of caspase 3 were determ.ned where gills and liver of fish fed 400 m. m.AE/kg diet revealed extensive num.er of positive caspase 3 cells indicating severe apoptotic ***,a dietary m.AE at 200 m./kg diet is recom.ended to im.rove the growth perform.nce,hem.tological param.ters,liver and kidney functions in Nile ***,caution m.st be considered when using m.AE at a concentration over 200 m./kg diet.

Nanocrystalline zirconia powder with high surface area and high tetragonal phase percentage is prepared by the precipitation m.thod using am.onium.hydroxide as a precipitating agent. The pH of precipitation, preparation tem.erature and calcinations＇ tem.erature are *** size, specific surface area, tetragonal phase percentage and the therm.l stability of the prepared sam.les are identified by diferent characterization tools such as X-ray difraction（XRD）, therm. gravim.tric analysis（TGA）, diferential scanning calorim.try（DSC）, BET surface area, scanning electron m.croscopy（SEm. and transm.ssion electron m.croscopy（TEm.. The optim.m.preparation param.ters for obtaining nanocrystalline zirconia with high percentage of tetragonal phase and high surface area are pH 9, preparation tem.erature of 80℃ and calcinations＇ tem.erature of 400℃. The sam.le prepared under optim.zed conditions showed a high specific surface area of 179.2 m./g, high tetragonal phase percentage of 81% and high catalytic activity（60%） for synthesis of butyl acetate ester.

Highly active m.soporous TiO_2 of about 6 nm.crystal size and 280.7 m.2/g specific surface areas has been successfully synthesized via controlled hydrolysis of titanium.butoxide at acidic m.dium. It was characterized by m.ans of XRD（X-ray diffraction）, SEm.scanning electron m.croscopy）, TEm.transm.ssion electron m.croscopy）, FT-IR（Fourier transform.infrared spectroscopy）, TGA（therm.gravim.tric analysis）, DSC（differential scanning calorim.try） and BET（Brunauer–Em.ett–Teller） surface area. The degradation of dichlorophenol-indophenol（DCPIP） under ultraviolet（UV） light was studied to evaluate the photocatalytic activity of sam.les. The effects of different param.ters and kinetics were investigated. Accordingly, a com.lete degradation of DCPIP dye was achieved by applying the optim.l operational conditions of 1 g/L of catalyst, 10 m./L of DCPIP, pH of 3 and the tem.erature at 25 ± 3°C after 3 m.n under UV irradiation. m.anwhile, the Langm.ir–Hinshelwood kinetic m.del described the variations in pure photocatalytic branch in consistent with a first order power law *** results proved that the prepared TiO_2 nanoparticle has a photocatalytic activity significantly better than Degussa P-25.

Al-Baha region, located in Saudi Arabia, is one of the m.in tourism.and leisure areas. The authority at Al-Baha Governorate plans to use clean and renewable energy in its tourism.facilities. The im.ortance of this study is to assess the possibility of building a wind farm.in Al-Baha and to select the best site for this purpose. This paper presents an analysis of long-term.wind data for the annual and m.nthly variability in Al-Baha region of southwestern Saudi Arabia. Al-Baha region has an area of 9921 square kilom.ters and is divided into seven regions (groups) based on their sim.lar m.asurem.nts and wind speed values. The analysis used 40 years of annual and m.nthly wind speed data between 1981 and 2020. The analysis showed that Group III has the highest m.an wind speed values in the northeastern part of the Al-Baha region, ranging from.5.4 m.s to 5.9 m.s at 50 m.above the surface. Group VI (5.1 - 5.6 m.s) east of the Al-Baha area recorded the second-highest m.an wind speed, while group V southwest of the Al-Baha area recorded lower values. The m.xim.m.wind speeds observed in Group III in January, February, m.rch, and July were 6 m.s or higher. A frequency analysis ensures that 79% of the year’s wind speeds exceed 4 m.s at 50 m.above the surface of the Group III site. Wind power was considered for 17 wind turbines of different sizes. The Soyut Wind 500 m.chine was found to produce m.xim.m.energy of 1420 m.h/year. The highest perform.nce values for the Soyut Wind 500 m.chine occurred in winter and sum.er, while the calculated capacity factor values at a hub height of 50 m.were 41% and 32%, respectively. The assessm.nt concluded that generating electricity from.wind at G III in the northeast of the Al-Baha region is a good decision.

This paper aim.d to study the effects of natural polysaccharide (gum.arabic, GA) on the form.tion of vaterite calcium.carbonate and its stability in aqueous solution. Gum.arabic is a m.crom.lecule that has a high m.lecular weight and is am.hoteric in character. A 0, 2.5, 5 or 10 m. of GA solution (30%) was added to the calcium.chloride solution with various initial concentrations to prepare the vaterite calcium.carbonate. The calcium.carbonate particles were characterized using FTIR, XRD, SEm. TEm.and DSC-TG as well as calculation of phase contents. The results of XRD and FTIR analysis were showing that the presence of GA during the precipitation changes the behavior of calcium.carbonate to form.vaterite until at lower dose used. In addition, the m.lar content of vaterite increased at the expense of content of calcite with increasing the GA dose. There are slightly im.rovem.nts in the vaterite content by increasing the initial concentration. The form.d vaterite calcium.carbonates com.osed of aggregates as broccoli-like or spherical shape and with particle size 1.6 - 2.5 μm.in diam.ter. TEm.im.ges showed that these aggregates com.osed of the sub spherical unit with diam.ter 15 - 30 nm. The therm.l behavior of prepared vaterite was conform.d the m.neral com.osition of these phases. The prepared calcium.carbonate, which is form.d in the presence of different doses of gum. has a stability in the aqueous solutions at different tem.eratures, as the analyzes indicated that a very sm.ll percentage of the vaterite were converted to calcite. The gum.arabic prevented or depressed the transform.tion of vaterite to calcite through capped the surface of particles, i.e. it is m.re effective in stabilizing the vaterite phase with increasing in initial concentration and tim..

m.gnetic alum.na nano com.osite (m.NC) was prepared for com.ination of the adsorption features of nano activated alum.na with the m.gnetic properties of iron oxides to produce a nano m.gnetic adsorbent, which can be separated from.the m.dium.by a sim.le m.gnetic process after adsorption. m.NC was characterized using XRD, SEm. TEm. EDX and surface area (BET). Quantum.design SQUID m.gnetom.ter was used to study the m.gnetic m.asurem.nt. The present study was conducted to evaluate the feasibility of m.NC for the rem.val of cadm.um.ions from.aqueous solutions through batch adsorption technique. The effects of pH, adsorbent dose, tem.erature, contact tim. and initial Cd2+ concentration on cadm.um.ions adsorption were studied. Equilibrium.data were fitted to Langm.ir, Freundlich and Tem.in isotherm.. The equilibrium.data were best represented by the Langm.ir isotherm. The kinetic data were fitted to pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order, elovich and intraparticle diffusion m.dels, and it was found to follow closely the pseudo-second-order m.del. Therm.dynam.c param.ters were calculated for the Cd2+ ion-m.NC system.and the positive value of ΔH° showed that the adsorption was endotherm.c in nature. Furtherm.re, a single-stage batch adsorber was designed for the rem.val of Cd2+ ions by m.NC based on the equilibrium.data obtained.

Diabetes m.llitus (Dm. is a health problem.affecting m.llions of individuals worldwide. Diabetic nephropathy (DN), as a significant com.lication of Dm. has becom. the m.st com.on cause of endstage renal failure. Oxidative stress constitutes the key and com.on events in the pathogenesis of DN and antioxidants m.y play a beneficial role in its prevention. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of Zinc Chloride on streptozotocin-induced diabetic nephropathy in rats com.ared to Gliclazide, a reference antidiabetic agent. Results showed that Zinc Chloride was able to control STZ-induced DN in rats as it norm.lized the elevated blood pressure, the increased insulin release, and the decreased blood glucose level. Zinc Chloride also im.roved kidney function as determ.ned by the restoration of blood urea and creatinine level. Finally, Zinc Chloride was able to boost the antioxidant defenses of the kidney by increasing the reduced glutathione content and decreasing lipid peroxides content in addition to significantly decreasing kidney nitric oxide content com.ared to diabetic control rats. These results suggest that exposure to Zinc Chloride can protect from.diabetic nephropathy and can be used as an adjuvant approach to treatm.nt and prevention of renal dam.ge.

Yield and Quality Response of Ryegrass, Egyptian Clover and Their m.xtures to Different Sources of Fertilizers

Two field experim.nts were conducted during two successive winter seasons of 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 to investigate the potentialities of m.xing Egyptian clover with ryegrass under bio, organic and m.neral fertilization treatm.nts and their com.ination to increase forage yield and quality grown under sandy soil conditions. The experim.nt included the com.ination of five m.xing ratios (Egyptian clover alone, ryegrass alone, 75% Egyptian clover: 25% ryegrass, 50% Egyptian clover: 50% ryegrass and 25% Egyptian clover: 75% ryegrass) and eight fertilizer sources, which include control, organic fertilization, bio fertilization, chem.cal fertilizer, organic + bio fertilizer, organic + chem.cal fertilizer, bio + chem.cal fertilizer and com.ination of organic and chem.cal and bio fertilizers. The obtained results indicate the superiority of 75% E. clover: 25% ryegrass m.xture fertilizedby Bio + O + N in fresh and dry forage production. On the other hand, it reported the lowest dry weight of weeds g/m.. Chem.cal analysis of forage plants showed that the m.xture of ?75% E. clover: 25% ryegrass surpassed that of other treatm.nts yield for crude protein, ether extract and ash. The results also revealed that the highest record of DCP, crude fiber and TDNY was obtained by forage m.xture of 75% E. clover: 25% ryegrass fertilized with Bio + O + N. Such higher yield of these characters hassecured a balanced ratio which is really needed for rum.nants ration.

卡通图像中,线条是最主要的构成其感知信息的元素,仅凭借线条,卡通图像即可表达自身的绝大部分信息。卡通图像中的线条的提取是计算机理解卡通图像的关键步骤。首先探讨了卡通图像中线条的分类,随后基于装饰线与边缘的剖面对高斯一阶导数及二阶导数的响应差异,提出了基于一阶方向导数过零点与二阶导数极值点共同提取装饰线的方法;稍后将提取到的装饰线与边缘融合最终生成卡通图像的线条。
