Control charts(CCs)are one of the main tools in Statistical Process Control that have been widely adopted in manufacturing sectors as an effective strategy for malfunction detection throughout the previous *** errors(M.E’s)are involved in the quality characteristic of interest,which can effect the CC’s *** authors explored the impact of a linearmodel with additive covariate M.E on the multivariate cumulative sum(CUSUM)CC for a specific kind of data known as compositional data(CoDa).The average run length(ARL)is used to assess the performance of the proposed *** results indicate that M.E’s significantly affects themultivariate *** authors haveused theMarkov chainmethod to study the impact of different involved parameters using six different cases for the variance-covariance matrix(VCM)(i.e.,uncorrelated with equal variances,uncorrelated with unequal variances,positively correlated with equal variances,positively correlated with unequal variances,negatively correlatedwith equal variances and negatively correlated with unequal variances).The authors concluded that the error VCM has a negative impact on the performance of themultivariate CUSUM-CoDa CC,as the ARL increases with an increase in the value of the error *** subgroup size m and powering operator b positively impact the proposed CC,as the ARL decreases with an increase in m or *** number of variables p also has a negative impact on the performance of the proposed CC,as the values of ARL increase with an increase in *** the implementation of the proposal,two illustrated examples have been reported formultivariate CUSUM-CoDaCCs inthe presence ofM.E’*** themanufacturingprocessof uncoated aspirin tablets,and the other is based on monitoring the machines involved in the muesli manufacturing process.

Experimental investigation and comparative study of interturn short-circuits and unbalanced voltage supply in induction machines

A transient model for an induction machine with stator winding turn faults on a single phase is derived using reference frame transformation theory. The negative sequence component and the 3rd harmonic are often considered as accurate indicators. However, small unbalance in the supply voltage and/or in the machine structure that exists in any real system engenders the same harmonics components. In this case, it is too difficult to distinguish between the current harmonics due to the supply voltage and those originated by inter-turn short- circuit faults. For that, to have the correct diagnosis and to increase the sensitivity and the reliability of the diagnostic system, it is crucial to provide the relationship between the inter-turn short-circuits in the stator winding and the supply voltage imbalance through an accurate mathematical model and via a series of experimental essays.

Changing trends in prevalence of different Plasmodium species with dominance of Plasmodium falciparum malaria infection in Aligarh(India)

Objective:To determine the prevalence of malaria in Aligarh and analyze species dominance in different years over a ***:Diagnosis of malaria was done using microscopy as gold standard,rapid antigen detection assays and quantitative buffy coat(QBC) *** stained blood smear examination was done,thick and thin films were examined for presence of different Plasmodium *** antigen detection assays employing detection of HRP-2 and parasite lactate dehydrogenase antigen(pLDH) by immunochromatography was done in patients whose blood smear found to be negative by conventional Giemsa slide *** was done in cases where there is strong clinical suspicion of malaria with blood smear negative,in patients with chronic malaria,splenomegaly,or in those patients who had inadequate treatment and for post-treatment follow ***:Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium falciparum were only species detected in our *** prevalence of malaria in Aligarh was found to be 8.8%.The maximum prevalence of 20.1%was observed in year 2008 and lowest 2.3%in 2002. Conclusions:High prevalence of malaria is observed in this part of country with dominance of both species particularly Plasmodium falciparum should be monitored and factors accounting for occurrence should be studied to employ effective control measures.

Optimized Identification with Severity Factors of Gastric Cancer for Internet of Medical Things

The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) emerges with the visionof the Wireless Body Sensor Network (WBSN) to improve the health monitoringsystems and has an enormous impact on the healthcare system forrecognizing the levels of risk/severity factors (premature diagnosis, treatment,and supervision of chronic disease i.e., cancer) via wearable/electronic healthsensor i.e., wireless endoscopic capsule. However, AI-assisted endoscopy playsa very significant role in the detection of gastric cancer. Convolutional NeuralNetwork (CNN) has been widely used to diagnose gastric cancer based onvarious feature extraction models, consequently, limiting the identificationand categorization performance in terms of cancerous stages and gradesassociated with each type of gastric cancer. This paper proposed an optimizedAI-based approach to diagnose and assess the risk factor of gastric cancerbased on its type, stage, and grade in the endoscopic images for smarthealthcare applications. The proposed method is categorized into five phasessuch as image pre-processing, Four-Dimensional (4D) image conversion,image segmentation, K-Nearest Neighbour (K-NN) classification, and multigradingand staging of image intensities. Moreover, the performance of theproposed method has experimented on two different datasets consisting ofcolor and black and white endoscopic images. The simulation results verifiedthat the proposed approach is capable of perceiving gastric cancer with 88.09%sensitivity, 95.77% specificity, and 96.55% overall accuracy respectively.

In this study, solution processed composite films of nickel phthalocyanine（NiPc） and cobalt phthalocyanine（CoPc）are deposited by drop casting and under centrifugal force. The films are deposited on surface-type inter-digitated silver electrodes on ceramic alumina substrates. The effects of illumination on the impedance and capacitance of the NiPc–CoPc composite samples are investigated. The samples deposited under centrifugal force show better conductivity than the samples deposited by drop casting technique. In terms of impedance and capacitance sensitivities the samples fabricated under centrifugal force are more sensitive than the drop casting samples. The values of impedance sensitivity（Sz）are equal to（-1.83） MΩ·cm^2/mW and（-5.365） MΩ·cm^2/mW for the samples fabricated using drop casting and under centrifugal force, respectively. Similarly, the values of capacitance sensitivity（Sc） are equal to 0.083 pF·cm^2/mW and 0.185 pF·cm～2/mW for the samples fabricated by drop casting and under centrifugal force. The films deposited using the different procedures could potentially be viable for different operational modes（i.e., conductive or capacitive） of the optical sensors. Both experimental and simulated results are discussed.

Detection of natural structures and classification of HCI-HPR data using robust forward search algorithm

Purpose-The purpose of this paper is to proposes a forward search algorithm for detecting and identifying natural structures arising in human-computer interaction(HCI)and human physiological response(HPR)***/methodology/approach-The paper portrays aspects that are essential to modelling and precision in *** methods involves developed algorithm for detecting outliers in data to recognise natural patterns in incessant data such as HCI-HPR *** detected categorical data are simultaneously labelled based on the data reliance on parametric rules to predictive models used in classification *** were also simulated based on multivariate normal distribution method and used to compare and validate the original ***-Results shows that the forward search method provides robust features that are capable of repelling over-fitting in physiological and eye movement *** limitations/implications-One of the limitations of the robust forward search algorithm is that when the number of digits for residuals value is more than the expected size for stack flow,it normally yields an error caution;to counter this,the data sets are normally standardized by taking the logarithmic function of the model before running the *** implications-The authors conducted some of the experiments at individual residence which may affect environmental ***/value-The novel approach to this method is the detection of outliers for data sets based on the Mahalanobis distances on HCI and *** can also involve a large size of data with p possible *** improvement made to the algorithm is application of more graphical display and rendering of the residual plot.

A hydrochemical study of the Hammam Righa geothermal waters in north-central Algeria

This study focuses on the hydrochemical characteristics of 47 water samples collected from thermal and cold springs that emerge from the Hammam Righa geothermal field, located in north-central Algeria. The aquifer that feeds these springs is mainly situated in the deeply fractured Jurassic limestone and dolomite of the Zaccar Mount. Measured discharge temperatures of the cold waters range from 16.0 to 26.5 ℃ and the hot waters from 32.1 to 68.2 ℃. All waters exhibited a near-neutral pH of 6.0-7.6. The thermal waters had a high total dis- solved solids （TDS） content of up to 2527 mg/l, while the TDS for cold waters was 659.0-852.0 mg/l. Chemical analyses suggest that two main types of water exist： hot waters in the upflow area of the Ca-Na-SO4 type （Ham- mam Righa） and cold waters in the recharge zone of the Ca-Na-HCO3 type （Zaccar Mount）. Reservoir tempera- tures were estimated using silica geothermometers and fluid/mineral equilibria at 78, 92, and 95℃ for HR4, HR2, and HRI, respectively. Stable isotopic analyses of the δ18O and δD composition of the waters suggest that the thermal waters of Hammam Righa are of meteoric origin. We conclude that meteoric recharge infiltrates through the fractured dolomitic limestones of the Zaccar Mount and is conductively heated at a depth of 2.1-2.2 km. The hotwaters then interact at depth with Triassic evaporites located in the hydrothermal conduit （fault）, giving rise to the Ca-Na-SO4 water type. As they ascend to the surface, the thermal waters mix with shallower Mg-rich ground- water, resulting in waters that plot in the immature water field in the Na-K-Mg diagram. The mixing trend between cold groundwaters from the recharge zone area （Zaccar Mount） and hot waters in the upflow area （Hammam Righa） is apparent via a chloride-enthalpy diagram that shows a mixing ratio of 22.6 〈 R 〈 29.2 %. We summa- rize these results with a geothermal conceptual model of the Hammam Righa geothermal field.

Reduction of chromium ore by recycled silicon cutting sludge waste with carbon addition

A basic study on the feasibility of producing ferrochrome (silicon) alloys using Si sludge waste collected from the silicon ingot cutting process was carried out, and the effects of the addition of carbon components, reaction time, and reaction temperature on the silicothermic reduction of chromium ore by Si sludge were studied. The cordierite (Mg2Al4Si5O18) phase was generated in the slag, and the Fe-Cr(-Si)-C alloy was formed by the silicothermic reduction. Moreover, the addition of carbon powder lowered the reduction initiating temperature, and the reduction ratio based on the oxygen content was evaluated at around 68-88% at 1573 K, which increased with an increase in carbon. However, it was difficult to find a significant difference in the reduction behavior in response to increasing the holding time. The reduced fer-rochrome (Fe-Cr) metal alloy droplets coalesced more intensively with an increase in reduction temperature, and for manufacturing the Fe-Cr alloy, it is estimated that a temperature of 1773 K or higher is required for good separation of the slag and the metal. Furthermore, the metallization ratio was defined, and higher values are evaluated for Fe than for Cr.
