AIM:To evaluate the clinical use of Fourier analysis of videokeratography data in the diagnosis and follow-up of keratoconus(KC).METHODS:We conducted a chart review of consecutive patients presented to our cornea clinic.A team of two experienced cornea specialists divided the patients into three groups:normal cornea,forme fruste KC(FFKC),and clinical *** exclusion criteria were a history of previous ocular surgery,any accompanying corneal pathology other than KC,high myopia(>6.00 diopters),amblyopia,pregnancy,breastfeeding,or any current autoimmune *** data of Fourier series harmonic analysis were evaluated for their diagnostic capacity using the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve.A binary logistic regression analysis was also conducted to construct a diagnostic model.A total of 259 eyes showed progression in the clinical KC group and underwent a combination of accelerated corneal collagen cross-linking and topographyguided customized treatment with an excimer ***:The study included 1262 eyes(618 normal,530 KC,and 114 FFKC)of 1262 *** observed that maximum decentration(MaxDec)was almost as good as maximum keratometry(Kmax)in detecting progressive *** area under the curve(AUC)was 0.95 for KC[95%confidence interval(CI):0.93-0.96]and 0.84 for FFKC(95%CI:0.79-0.88).Higher predictive accuracy was obtained using a model combining the spherical component,MaxDec,irregularity,and regular astigmatism in the center of the cornea(AUC:0.97;sensitivity:89%,and specificity:96%).CONCLUSION:Decentration,Kmax,and posterior radii of curvatures from a 3.0-mm optical zone centered on the thinnest point of the cornea provide the highest accuracy with low reproducibility of Kmax.

The use of all samples in the optimization process does not produce robust results in datasets with label *** the gradients calculated according to the losses of the noisy samples cause the optimization process to go in the wrong *** this paper,we recommend using samples with loss less than a threshold determined during the optimization,instead of using all samples in the *** proposed method,Adaptive-k,aims to exclude label noise samples from the optimization process and make the process *** noisy datasets,we found that using a threshold-based approach,such as Adaptive-k,produces better results than using all samples or a fixed number of low-loss samples in the *** the basis of our theoretical analysis and experimental results,we show that the Adaptive-k method is closest to the performance of the Oracle,in which noisy samples are entirely removed from the ***-k is a simple but effective *** does not require prior knowledge of the noise ratio of the dataset,does not require additional model training,and does not increase training time *** the experiments,we also show that Adaptive-k is compatible with different optimizers such as SGD,SGDM,and *** code for Adaptive-k is available at GitHub.

目的:分析Duane眼球后退综合征(DRS)患者的临床特点及手术疗效。方法:评估94例DRS患者临床数据。记录完整的眼科数据,包括年龄、性别、侧位、DRS类型、偏角、异常头部姿势(AHP)、眼球后退、过冲及手术入路类型。结果:患者年龄为15.4±9.18岁,其中78例男性,16例女性。单侧和双侧受累分别为87%和13%。在单侧DRS患者中,左眼占65%。94例患者中,59.5%的患者为I型,29.7%的患者为II型,8.5%的患者为III型,2.1%的患者为IV型。大多数患者(36,38%)为嗜热性,43例(96%)患者术前AHP出现10°以上。有40例(43%)患者出现过度调校,通常为II型。对45例(48%)患者进行手术治疗。共32例(78%)行水平直肌手术后获得了较好疗效,24例(53%)患者AHP改善。结论:侧直肌的Y分裂和后榫固定在有明显过校的情况下都有令人满意的结果。垂直直肌转位增强术在限制外展方面取得了最佳效果。

The main idea of reinforcement learning is evaluating the chosen action depending on the current *** to this concept,many algorithms achieved proper performance on classic Atari 2600 *** main challenge is when the reward is sparse or *** environments are complex exploration environments likeMontezuma’s Revenge,Pitfall,and Private Eye *** built to deal with such challenges were very *** work introduced a different reward system that enables the simple classical algorithm to learn fast and achieve high performance in hard exploration ***,we added some simple enhancements to several hyperparameters,such as the number of actions and the sampling ratio that helped improve *** include the extra reward within the human *** that,we used Prioritized Double Deep Q-Networks(Prioritized DDQN)to learning from these *** approach enabled the Prioritized DDQNwith a short learning time to finish the first level of Montezuma’s Revenge game and to perform well in both Pitfall and Private *** used the same games to compare our results with several baselines,such as the Rainbow and Deep Q-learning from demonstrations(DQfD)*** results showed that the new rewards system enabled Prioritized DDQN to out-perform the baselines in the hard exploration games with short learning time.

The incorporation of gallium into bioactive materials has been reported to enhance osteogenesis,to influence blood clotting,and to induce anti-cancer and anti-bacterial ***-doped biomaterials prepared by various techniques include melt-derived and sol-gel-derived bioactive glasses,calcium phosphate bioceramics,metals and *** this review,we summarize the recently reported developments in antibacterial,anti-cancer,osteogenesis,and hemostasis properties of Ga-doped biomaterials and briefly outline the mechanisms leading to Ga biological *** key finding is that gallium addition to biomaterials has great potential for treating bone-related diseases since it can be efficiently transferred to the desired region at a controllable ***,it can be used as a potential substitute for antibiotics for the inhibition of infections during the initial and advanced phases of the wound healing *** is also used as an anticancer agent due to the increased concentration of gallium around excessive cell proliferation(tumor)***,we highlight the possibility to design different therapeutic approaches aimed at increasing the efficiency of the use of gallium containing bioactive materials for multifunctional applications.

Determining Crop and Pan Coefficients for Cauliflower and Red Cabbage Crops Under Cool Season Semiarid Climatic Conditions

The aim of this study was to estimate the evapotranspiration of cauliflower and red cabbage crops grown under cool season semiarid climatic conditions from Class A pan evaporation. Actual evapotranspiration （ETc） of cauliflower and red cabbage crops was calculated according to the water balance approach. Reference evapotranspiration （ETo） was calculated with FAO Penman-Monteith equation. Pan evaporation （Epan） was measured by using Class A pan. Seasonal ETc was determined as 475 mm for cauliflower and 556 nun for red cabbage. Seasonal pan coefficient （kp=ETo/Epan） was determined as 0.82, and the seasonal crop coefficient （kc=ETc/ETo） was determined as 0.84 for cauliflower and 0.83 for red cabbage. So the evapotranspiration of cauliflower and red cabbage crops was estimated as 70% Class A pan evaporation.
