Adapted european seabass(Dicentrarchus labrax L.)larvae at 25 days post-hatching(dph)with a primary weight and length of 23 mg and 9.92 mm,start the weaning up to 46 dph using the weaning micro-diet(54%crude protein from fish meal,powder milk,and poultry egg)concurrently with Artemia enriched with fortification emulsions(0.6 g/L)of DHA selco®as a control group(DHAS)or Fish oil+20%Vitamin C(FOVC),or Fish oil+20%Vitamin e(FOVe),or Fish oil+10%Vit.C+10%Vit.e(FOCe),or Fish oil only(FO).At 46 dph,groups of larvae fed enriched Artemia with DHAS and FOVe exhibited the highest final body weight,weight gain,average daily gain,specific growth rate,feed intake,protein efficiency ratio,and survival%as well as the lowest feed conversion ***,larvae in FOVC displayed the lowest final body weight,total length,weight gain,average daily gain,specific growth rate,feed intake,protein efficiency ratio,and survival%as well as the highest feed conversion *** histological assessment exhibited no pathological alteration as well as an improvement in the structure with DHAS,FOVe,FOVC,and FOCe co-additives compared to *** peroxidase enzyme(GPx)recorded the highest rates(Ped Artemia supplemented with DHAS and FOVe followed by FOCe and *** the lowest record for GPx activity was noted in the FO *** conclusion,Using augmented Artemia nauplii with fish oil+vitamin e in single or in companion with vitamin C as cheap antioxidants support *** larval growth,survival,and antioxidant efficacy during the critical weaning period.

Biodiesel production from waste cooking oil using calcium oxide derived from scallop shell waste

Biodiesel is one of the alternative forms of diesel fuel and can be obtained using the transesterification process of waste cooking oil with a catalyst to accelerate the *** heterogeneous catalyst from waste scallop shells is used due to its potential for being reused in the subsequent transesterification *** catalysts can also be recycled,contributing to their environmentally friendly *** study aims to identify the performance of recycling a calcium oxide(CaO)catalyst from scallop shell waste on synthesis *** method used is the transesterification method with the basic ingredients of waste cooking oil using a CaO ***,after the transesterification process is complete,the catalyst is separated from the biodiesel and recycled to be reused in the transesterification process up to five *** biodiesel samples obtained are identified for yield value,physico-chemical properties,thermal properties and performance.X-ray diffraction characterization results for the CaO catalyst show that it has a crystal size of 67.83 *** electron microscope characterization shows that it has spherical particle *** transform infrared characterization shows the presence of Ca-O *** highest biodiesel yield value of 74.23%is obtained in biodiesel Cycle *** flash point value of biodiesel samples ranges from 141.2℃ to 149℃.Further,all of the biodiesel samples exhibit a cetane number of *** highest lower heating value of 38.22 mJ/kg is obtained in biodiesel Cycle 1 and the viscosity of the biodiesel samples ranges from 5.65 to 5.88 *** density of the biodiesel samples ranges from 881.23 to 882.92 kg/***,ester functional groups(C=O)and methyl functional groups have been successfully formed in all samples,with the methyl oleate compound observed as dominating the biodiesel *** cloud point value of the biodiesel samples ranges from 12℃ to 13℃,and their pour point value ranges from 10℃ to

Artificial intelligence(AI)has recently been used in nanomedical applications,in which implanted intelligent nanosystems inside the human body were used to diagnose and treat a variety of ailments with the help of the Internet of biological Nano Things(IoBNT).Biological circuit engineering or nanomaterial-based architectures can be used to approach the *** nanomedical applications,the blood vascular medium serves as a communication channel,demonstrating a molecular communication system based on flow and *** paper presents a performance study of the channel capacity for flow-based-diffusive molecular communication nanosystems that takes into account the ligand-receptor binding *** earlier studies,we take into account the effects of biological physical characteristics such as blood pressure,blood viscosity,and vascular diameter on channel ***,in terms of drug transmission error probability,the inter-symbol interference(ISI)phenomenon is applied to the proposed *** numerical results show that the proposed AI nanosystems-based IoBNT technology can be successfully implemented in future nanomedicine.

An Improved Convolutional Neural Network model for DNA Classification

Recently,deep learning(DL)became one of the essential tools in bioinformatics.A modified convolutional neural network(CNN)is employed in this paper for building an integratedmodel for deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA)*** any CNN model,convolutional layers are used to extract features followed by max-pooling layers to reduce the dimensionality of features.A novel method based on downsampling and CNNs is introduced for feature *** downsampling is an improved form of the existing pooling layer to obtain better classification *** two-dimensional discrete transform(2D DT)and two-dimensional random projection(2D RP)methods are applied for *** convert the high-dimensional data to low-dimensional data and transform the data to the most significant feature ***,there are parameters which directly affect how a CNN model is *** this paper,some issues concerned with the training of CNNs have been *** CNNs are examined by changing some hyperparameters such as the learning rate,size of minibatch,and the number of *** and assessment of the performance of CNNs are carried out on 16S rRNA bacterial *** results indicate that the utilization of a CNN based on wavelet subsampling yields the best trade-off between processing time and accuracy with a learning rate equal to 0.0001,a size of minibatch equal to 64,and a number of epochs equal to 20.

Smart prediction of liquefaction-induced lateral spreading

The prediction of liquefaction-induced lateral spreading/displacement(Dh)is a challenging task for civil/geotechnical *** this study,a new approach is proposed to predict Dh using gene expression programming(GeP).Based on statistical reasoning,individual models were developed for two topographies:free-face and gently sloping *** with a comparison with conventional approaches for predicting the Dh,four additional regression-based soft computing models,*** process regression(GPR),relevance vector machine(RVm),sequential minimal optimization regression(SmOR),and m5-tree,were developed and compared with the GeP *** results indicate that the GeP models predict Dh with less bias,as evidenced by the root mean square error(RmSe)and mean absolute error(mAe)for training(i.e.1.092 and 0.815;and 0.643 and 0.526)and for testing(i.e.0.89 and 0.705;and 0.773 and 0.573)in free-face and gently sloping ground topographies,*** overall performance for the free-face topology was ranked as follows:GeP>RVm>m5-tree>GPR>SmOR,with a total score of 40,32,24,15,and 10,*** the gently sloping condition,the performance was ranked as follows:GeP>RVm>GPR>m5-tree>SmOR with a total score of 40,32,21,19,and 8,***,the results of the sensitivity analysis showed that for both free-face and gently sloping ground,the liquefiable layer thickness(T_(15))was the major parameter with percentage deterioration(%D)value of 99.15 and 90.72,respectively.

Fair subcarrier-power allocation scheme for multiuser multicarrier systems

The main objective of multiuser orthogonal frequency division multiple access(mU-OFDm) is to maximize the total system capacity in wireless communication systems. Thus, the problem in mU-OFDm system is the adaptive allocation of the resources(subcarriers, bits and power) to different users subject to several restrictions to maximize the total system capacity. In this work, a proposed subcarrier allocation algorithm was presented to assign the subcarriers with highest channel gain to the users. After the subcarrier allocation, subcarrier gain-based power allocation(SGPA) was employed for power and bit loading. The simulation results show that the proposed subcarrier-power allocation scheme can achieve high total system capacity and good fairness in allocating the resources to the users with slightly high computational complexity compared to the existing subcarrier allocation algorithms.

Crassostrea(magallana)saidii has been commercially ranched in malaysia and consumed for more than 160 years,but it was only recently identified as a new species to *** study was conducted to evaluate the reproductive phenology of C.(m.)*** of 30 individual oysters were taken monthly for 15 months from the sole population at Sungai muar estuary in Johor,*** sex ratio was 1:1.64(male:female)for all examined specimens,with female numbers significantly *** was detected in 1.56%of all *** peaks in April(2019)and November(2018 and 2019),and were positively associated with the increased rainfall *** occurred throughout the research period with temporal *** highest values of maturity index(mI)were recorded in march,August and October 2019,when most oysters were in matured and maturing *** index(CI)ranged from 31.90±1.25(April 2019)to 70.03±3.23(October 2019),exhibiting two peaks(march and October 2019)and subsequently reduced in CI indicating spawning consistency with histological *** stressors such as heavy sedimentation and inland development are threatening the survival of this *** understanding of their reproductive biology is essential to ensure the survival and sustainability of C.(m.)saidii fishery.

Influence of anodization conditions on deposition of Hydroxyapatite on α/β Ti alloys for Osseointegration: Atomic Force microscopy Analysis

Integrating titanium-based implants with the surrounding bone tissue remains challenging. This study aims to explore the impact of different anodization voltages （20-80V） on the surface topography of two-phase （α/β） Ti alloys and to produce TiO2films with enhanced bone formation abilities. Scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy dispersive spectroscopy （Sem-eDS） and atomic force microscopy （AFm） were applied to investigate the morphological， chemical， and surface topography of the prepared alloys and to confirm the growth of hydroxyapatite （HA） on their surfaces. Results disclosed that the surface roughness of TiO2films formed on Ti-6Al-7Nb alloys was superior to that of Ti–6Al–4V alloys. Ti-6Al-7Nb alloy anodized at 80 V had the highest yields of HA after immersion in SBF with enhanced HA surface coverage. The developed HA layer had a mean thickness of 128.38 ± 18.13 μm， suggesting its potential use as an orthopedic implantable material due to its promising bone integration and， hence， remarkable stability inside the human body.

Authentication of the digital image has much attention for the digital *** image authentication can be verified with image watermarking and image encryption *** schemes are widely used to protect images against forgery attacks,and they are useful for protecting copyright and rightful *** on the desirable applications,several image encryption and watermarking schemes have been proposed to moderate this *** framework presents a new scheme that combines a Walsh Hadamard Transform(WHT)-based image watermarking scheme with an image encryption scheme based on Double Random Phase encoding(DRPe).First,on the sender side,the secret medical image is encrypted using *** the encrypted image is watermarking based on *** combination between watermarking and encryption increases the security and robustness of transmitting an *** performance evaluation of the proposed scheme is obtained by testing Structural Similarity Index(SSIm),Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio(PSNR),Normalized cross-correlation(NC),and Feature Similarity Index(FSIm).
