本研究的目标在于探讨翻转教学方法及自主调控翻转教学方法对英语作为外语学习者搭配知识产生的影响。在本研究中,共计30名英语作为外语的学习者被随机分配至两个等规模的实验组:翻转课堂组与自主调控翻转组。为期六周的实验过程中,两组学生在课余时间自学相应学习内容,课堂时间则主要用于开展互动活动。然而,自主调控翻转组运用自我调节策略(包括目标设定和自我评估),以便于他们能够妥善规划课外时间,有效地在课前掌握内容,并在课堂活动中与同学及教师展开协同互动。该项研究通过Whats App向多个小组分发了三段关于搭配的教学视频。研究所使用的测试包括形容词+名词和动词+名词搭配,由研究员制定,用于前测和后测。此外,通过“学习日志”记录了参与者观看搭配视频所耗用的时间。混合设计方差分析结果显示,将自主调控融入翻转教学策略有助于提升学生搭配知识水平;同时,他们的规划技巧及学习时间管理亦有所优化。此项研究对英语作为外语教学领域的教师和教材开发者具有显著启示意义。

Study of the effects of natural toothbrush (<i>Salva-dora persica</i>) in prevention of dental caries and plaque index

Background: Nowadays, though more attention is being paid to oral and dental hygiene all over the world, dental caries and periodontal diseases are increasing daily. We decided to study the effectiveness of natural toothbrush in prevention of dental caries and plaque formation. Methods: This analytic, semi-experimental clinical trial included 390 individuals. Subjects were divided into 3 groups: using natural toothbrush, using artificial toothbrush and using both natural and artificial toothbrush. The plaque index and DMFT was assessed at the beginning of the study until 1 year. ANOVA, Kruskal Wallis, LSD, Paired t-test, chi square, Fisher exact and Mc-Nemar tests were used for data analysis. Results: The plaque index in all three groups showed a mean reduction of 0.71. The mean DMFT in the samples before intervention was 8.38 ± 4.14 and increased to 9.1 ± 4.56. At the end of the study, the lowest plaque index was observed in the group using both the natural and artificial methods. During one year follow-up, the plaque index decreased 1.16, 0.83, and 0.21 degrees in the first, second and third groups. Conclusion: The increase in DMFT in the group that used artificial toothbrush was more than other groups. Thus, use of natural toothbrush leads to a decrease in growth rate of DMFT. Therefore natural toothbrush can be used for the cleaning of teeth and prevention of dental caries.

Background:Reviewing historical evidence in the various schools of traditional medicine shows that numerous methods have been used to maintain human good health and treatment of *** medicine(PM)scholars have been employed different methods to prescribe medications,which can be classified into two main groups:internal uses,including oral,parenteral,and anal,and also external uses such as topical,transdermal,and applying *** this study,we aim to introduce some of the therapeutic ***:We reviewed the most famous PM textbooks and current evidence in relevant databases such as PubMed,Science Direct,Scopus,Google scholar and SID related to the ***:In this study,about 100 traditional therapeutic substances were found and finally,thirty-two of them were *** were often stones,and some of them were other materials such as metals,gums,and *** to the PM,the utilization of pendants,in addition to cosmetic purposes,has been considered to maintain the health and treatment of some *** pendants can be considered as a kind of external medication use in which therapeutic materials are hung on the body *** external use of pendants could have curative effects with their close contact to the body ***:Pendant therapy may probably be considered as a non-invasive and easy-to-use treatment with unnoticeable side effects that can be utilized along with other therapies.

Some of the experimental and clinical aspects of the effects of the maternal diabetes on developing hippocampus

One of the major complications of pregnancy, preeclampsia makes pregnancy term ination inevitable in most cases. Similarities exist between the mechanisms that maintain normal pregnancy, allograft transplants, and, it is postulated, periph eral self-tolerance. In addition, the critical role of the cytotoxic T-lymphoc yte antigen-4 (CTLA-4) molecule in maintaining self-tolerance has been establ ished. Therefore, the frequency of CTLA-4 A49G polymorphism was investigated in severe preeclampsia. Genomic DNA extracted from mononuclear cells of the periph eral blood of 36 pregnant women with severe preeclampsia and 151 healthy women w as analyzed. A49G polymorphism in position 49 of exon-1 of the CTLA-4 gene was studied by the polymerase chain reaction-single-strand conformation polymorph ism (PCR-SSCP) method. The frequency of the GG genotype was 2 (5.6%) in patien ts and 19 (12.6%) in controls, while the frequency of the AA genotype was 4 (11 .1%) and 60 (39.7%). Interestingly, the frequency of the AG genotype was signi ficantly higher in preeclamptic than in healthy women from the general populatio n (83.3%vs. 47.7%; P=0.0005). These data suggest that heterozygosity in the CT LA-4 A49G allele might be a predisposing factor for severe preeclampsia. Whethe r the observed association results from linkage imbalance with other loci on chr omosome 2 or other polymorphisms of the CTLA-4 gene or even from a preferential transfer and/or expression of one allele from a heterozygous mother to the fetu s will be the subject of future investigations.
