Faba bean(Vicia faba L.)has been identified as a rich source of L-DOPA,which is used in treating Parkinson's *** and accumulation of active substances such as L-DOPA in plant tissues may interact with growing conditions and processing *** trends of L-DOPA in various faba bean organs and the effect of drought stress and N fertilization on L-DOPA content were studied in a field and two greenhouse *** influence of various processing methods on L-DOPA content of faba bean tissues was *** highest L-DOPA content was detected in fresh leaves(22.4 mg g^(-1))followed by flowers,young pods,mature seeds,and *** of processing method,L-DOPA concentration in faba bean tissues was significantly reduced when tissues were boiled or *** various methods of processing,freezing had the lowest detrimental effect,reducing L-DOPA concentrations by 24.1%and 21.1%in leaves and seeds,*** stress elevated L-DOPA concentration,and maximum L-DOPA(23.3 mg g^(-1)of biomass)was extracted from plants grown under severe drought ***,L-DOPA yield(L-DOPA concentration×biomass)was compromised,owing to the adverse influence of drought stress on dry matter *** significant difference in L-DOPA concentration was detected among various N application rates.

Faba bean(Vicia faba L.) is a cool season grain legume crop with the potential to be grown as multi-purpose crop in areas with short growing season. Faba bean is grown in many regions in the world due to its high nutritional value, medicinal effect, and effective biological nitrogen fixation. Diverse ecosystem benefits are expected from integrating faba bean in cropping systems. This paper specifically reviews the published work covering agronomic practices, nutritional values, medicinal benefits, and faba bean’s capacity for nitrogen fixation.

In this paper,we design a total infrared(IR)absorber based on a dispersive band structure of two-dimensional(2D)multiwall carbon nanotube(MWCNTs)square array working from near IR(NIR)to mid IR(MIR)*** absorption characteristics have been investigated by the 2D finite-difference time domain(FDTD)method in square lattice photonic crystal(PC)of the multipole Drude-Lorentz model inserted to the dispersive dielectric function of *** photonic band structure and scattering parameters for the wide range of lattice constants from 15 nm to 3500 nm with various filling ratios have been *** results show that for large lattice constant(>2000 nm),the Bragg gap moves to the IR regime and leads to MWCNTs arrays acting as a total *** a structure with lattice constant of 3500 nm and filling factor of 12%,an enhanced absorption coefficient up to 99%is achieved in the range of 0.35 eV(λ=3.5μm)nominated in the MIR ***,the absorption spectrum peak can be tuned in the range of 0.27—0.38 eV(λ=4.59—3.26μm)with a changing filling *** results and methodology can be used to design new MWCNTs based photonic devices for applications like night-vision,thermal detector,and total IR absorbers.

Microstructures and corrosion of TiNbTaZrMo(Ti_(20)Nb_(20)Ta_(20)Zr_(20)Mo_(20))High-Entropy Alloy(HEA)were investigated in the Simu-lated Body Fluid(SBF).Microstructure of this alloy was investigated by X-Ray Difiraction(XRD)and Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM)*** observations confirmed the presence of two bcc phases as the major matrix as well as another minor phase in themicrostructure of the *** of some elements,such as tantalum,niobium,and molybdenum in the dendritic branches and thepresence of zirconium and titanium in the inter-dendritic branches were clearly evidenced by Energy Dispersive X-ray(EDX)*** importance of corrosion of implant alloys in the human's body,elctrochemical impedance and cyclic polarization tests werepcerformed on the alloy in *** the corrosion tests,corrosion potential,current,and resistance were obtained as E_(corr)=-0.42 V,i_(corr)=0.34μA·cm^(-2),and R_(p)=27.44 k ohm·cm^(2),*** results revealed that the rate of corrosion in TiNbTaZrMo HEA is about 26 times better than that of Ti_(6)Al_(4)V ***,both alloys had no pitting corrosion in the SBF solution.

The simulation results on viscoelastic fluid flows in sudden expansion geometry with different expansion ratios are presented. Oldroyd-B, linear Phan-Thien-Tanner （L-PTT） and Finitely Extensible Nonlinear Elastic （FENE-P） based constitutive equations were applied in two-dimensional Cartesian coordinates. The governing equations in transient and fully developed regions were solved using open source software called OpenFOAM. The flow patterns, including velocity profiles, shear stresses and first normal stress differences in some horizontal and vertical sections are illustrated. In addition, effects of the fluid type, flow dynamics and expansion ratio on the flow and vortex patterns in transient and fully developed regions are presented and discussed. The presented results show that existences of vortices cause the inverse velocity and negative stresses in expansion regions of the channel which increase with increment of expansion ratio and Weissenberg number （We）. Furthermore, some dead spaces can be observed at channel expansion regions close to the wall which are also increased. The results also show that at low We numbers all fluids show close behavior while at high We numbers the FENE-P fluid behavior shows high divergence from that of the two other fluids.

Substance abuse by women of child-bearing age and fetal in utero drug exposure has increased in the number of infants born with health *** exposure to psychoactive substances can lead to neurological and neurodevelopmental deficits later in *** data concerning the effects of psychoactive drugs on fetal neurodevelopmental status are *** the neurodevelopmental consequences of prenatally drug-exposed children has become a pressing global *** aim of this review is to gather current evidence and information on neurodevelopmental outcomes of in utero drug exposure.A literature search was performed on the PubMed,Scopus,and Google Scholar databases using the terms“psychotropic drugs”,“neurodevelopmental consequences”,“prenatal drug exposure”,and“pregnancy”.Available studies on in utero drug exposure were reviewed and found to support the idea that some degree of health issues are present in fetuses and *** psychoactive substances have profound neurodevelopmental consequences,such as structural brain changes,poor attention span,Down syndrome,attention deficit hyperactivity disorder,autism spectrum disorder,imbalances in neurotransmitter levels,and many structural *** pervasive use of psychoactive drugs in women of child-bearing age is an important health *** scientific efforts are needed to investigate the effect of prenatal exposure to psychoactive drugs on children.

Objective:To determine epidemiological,molecular characterization,and potential risk factors of human ***:This descriptive study was carried out in the clinical setting in Iran between 2017 and 2018.A total of 297 participants enrolled in the *** sample size was calculated based on the occurrence rate of brucellosis in different *** were assessed using serological tests and conventional culture *** and multiplex PCR methods typed all of Brucella *** risk factors of disease were ***:A total of 141 of 297(47.5%)Brucella strains were isolated and all of them were detected as Brucella melitensis biovar *** on serologic titers,high culture positivity was recorded at 1/640 titer(P<0.006).The risk factors for brucellosis were patients older than 40 years(OR=2.23,95%CI:1.4-3.55,P=0.001),animal keeper(OR=7,95%CI:1.51-32.41,P=0.005),housewife(OR=8.76,95%CI:1.85-41.37,P=0.002),farmer(OR=6.42,95%CI:1.21-33.97,P=0.019),and contact with animal(OR=1.31,95%CI:0.60-2.85,P=0.005).Conclusions:To the best of our knowledge,this is the first comprehensive report from Iran presenting the detection of Brucella species by the multiplex *** melitensis biovar 1 is still the dominant causative agent in *** consumption of unpasteurized dairy products,living in rural areas,and animal contact were risk factors of brucellosis.

Objective:To investigate the effect of acupoint catgut-embedding therapy on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods:Twenty-three participants were subjected to acupoint catgut-embedding therapy for 3 *** second session was performed one month after the first session and the third session two months after the second *** months after the third session of catgut-embedding therapy,the patients were subjected to fibroscan analysis.A total of 20 acupoints were selected in three *** acupoints were selected for all the patients at the same session but different points were selected at different ***:Of the 23 participants,5 cases showed significant improvement and 8 cases showed moderate improvement as the steatosis stage was reduced by 1 or 2 *** whole group showed significant improvements in terms of patient score,fat percentage,NAFLD steatosis stage,weight loss and abdominal circumference reduction after acupoint catgut-embedding therapy(all P<0.05).Conclusion:The acupoint catgut-embedding therapy can significantly improve the important factors in patients with NAFLD.

In this paper, definition and properties of logistic map along with orbit and bifurcation diagrams, Lyapunov exponent, and its histogram are considered. In order to expand chaotic region of Logistic map and make it suitable for cryptography, two modified versions of Logistic map are proposed. In the First Modification of Logistic map (FML), vertical symmetry and transformation to the right are used. In the Second Modification of Logistic (SML) map, vertical and horizontal symmetry and transformation to the right are used. Sensitivity of FML to initial condition is less and sensitivity of SML map to initial condition is more than the others. The total chaotic range of SML is more than others. Histograms of Logistic map and SML map are identical. Chaotic range of SML map is fivefold of chaotic range of Logistic map. This property gave more key space for cryptographic purposes.
