We compared the dead wood （DW） conditions of Chesh- meh-sar forest and Sardab forest with different management history, including reserve forest and harvested forest. The First forest took 100% inventory from all the available DW. Also dead trees were compared in terms of species, shape, location and quality of fracture in both forests. Volumes of dead wood in Cheshmeh-sar and Sardab forests were 207.47 and 142.74 m3, respectively. Due to this significant difference, impact on the management level was determined. In Cheshmeh-sar forest, 42% of dead trees were standing and 58% were fallen type while in Sardab forest 38.6% were standing and 61.4% fallen. But the difference was not statis- tically significant l^etween them （p = 0.0587）. In terms of quality, dead trees of hard, soft and hollow had the highest frequency, respectively. However, 71.5% of DW was seen as hard dead in Cheshmeh-sar forest while hard dead trees in Sardab forests were 54.2%. Soft quality degree of dead trees which formed in Cheshmeh-sar and Sardab forest were calcu- lated as 26.6% and 43.4% respectively. Also 30% of the dead trees of Sardab forest were eradicated while in Cheshmeh-sar this amount was reduced to 12%. Due to this significant difference （（P=0/018）, it is concluded that the type of management and human interference are affecting the quality of dead trees and makes us to think the human in- terferences could effect on the ecosystem of touched forests.

The equation governing the motion of a quantum particle is considered in nonrelativistic non-commutative phase space. For this aim, we first study new Poisson brackets in non-commutative phase space and obtain the modified equations of motion. Next, using novel transformations, we solve the equation of motion and report the exact analytical solutions.

We study gravitational baryogenesis in the context of f(R, T) gravity where the gravitational Lagrangian is given by a generic function of the Ricci scalar R and the trace of the stress-energy tensor T. We explore how this type of modified gravity is capable to shed light on the issue of baryon asymmetry in a successful manner. We consider various forms of baryogenesis interaction and discuss the effect of these interaction terms on the baryon to entropy ratio in this setup. We show that baryon asymmetry during the radiation era of the expanding universe can be non-zero in this framework. Then, we calculate the baryon to entropy ratio for some specific f(R, T) models and by using the observational data, we give some constraints on the parameter spaces of these models.

We present a semi-analytic method to study the electronic conductance of a lengthy armchair honeycomb nanoribbon in the presence of vacancies, defects, or impurities located at a small part of it. For this purpose, we employ the Green's function technique within the nearest neighbor tight-binding approach. We first convert the Hamiltonian of an ideal semiinfinite nanoribbon to the Hamiltonian of some independent polyacetylene-like chains. Then, we derive an exact formula for the self-energy of the perturbed part due to the existence of ideal parts. The method gives a fully analytical formalism for some cases such as an infinite ideal nanoribbon and the one including linear symmetric defects. We calculate the transmission coefficient for some different configurations of a nanoribbon with special width including a vacancy, edge geometrical defects, and two electrical impurities.

Numerous ecological factors influence a plant’s ability to live and grow,in which dryness is a substantial constraint on plant growth in arid and semi-arid *** response to a specific environmental stress,plants can use the most effective bacteria to support and facilitate their growth and ***,plant growth promoting rhizobacteria(PGPR)is widely used to reduce drought stress on plant *** this study,the effects of drought on Festuca ovina ***,growth,and nutrient absorption were investigated using PGPR in a factorial test with a completely random design under four water *** water content was kept at 100%FC(field capacity),70%FC(FC),50%FC,and 30%*** treatments were inoculated with Azotobacter vinelandii,Pantoea agglomerans+Pseudomonas putida,and a mixture of *** showed that the effects of drought stress were significantly reduced(P<0.05)when *** and ***+*** were used separately,however,the combined treatment of bio-fertilizers had a greater influence on seed germination than the single ***+*** under 30%FC condition resulted in higher increases in stem,root length,and plant dry *** highest uptake of nutrients was observed for the combined treatment of bio-fertilizers under 30%FC ***,the use of *** and ***+***,applied separately or combined,increased tolerance to drought stress in *** by increased germination indices,dry weight,stem length,and root *** of the beneficial effects of PGPR on the growth characteristics of plants under drought conditions and the reduction of negative effects of drought stress,inoculating *** seeds with Azotobacter and Pseudomonas is recommended to improve their growth and development characteristics under drought ***,as an affordable and environmentally friendly method,can improve the production of forage in water-stress rangelands.

The solubility of Pd(NO_(3))_(2) in water is moderate whereas it is completely soluble in diluted HNO_(3) solution. Pd/MIL-101(Cr) and Pd/MIL-101-NH_(2)(Cr) were synthesized by aqueous solution of Pd(NO_(3))_(2) and Pd(NO_(3))_(2) solution in dilute HNO_(3) and used for CO oxidation reaction. The catalysts synthesized with Pd(NO_(3))_(2) solution in dilute HNO_(3) showed lower activity. The aqueous solution of Pd(NO_(3))_(2) was used for synthesis of mono-metal Ni, Pd and bimetallic PdNi nanoparticles with various molar ratios supported on MOF. Pd_(70)Ni_(30)/MIL-101(Cr) catalyst showed higher activity than monometallic counterparts and Pd+ Ni physical mixture due to the strong synergistic effect of PdNi nanoparticles, high distribution of PdNi nanoparticles, and lower dissociation and desorption barriers. Comparison of the catalysts synthesized by MIL-101(Cr) and MIL-101-NH_(2)(Cr) as the supports of metals showed that Pd/MIL-101-NH_(2)(Cr) outperforms Pd/MIL-101-(Cr) because of the higher electron density of Pd resulting from the electron donor ability of the NH_(2) functional group. However, the same activities were observed for Pd_(70)Ni_(30)/MIL-101(Cr) and Pd_(70)Ni_(30)/MIL-101-NH_(2)(Cr), which is due to a less uniform distribution of Pd nanoparticles in Pd_(70)Ni_(30)/MIL-101-NH_(2)(Cr) originated from amorphization of MIL-101-NH_(2)(Cr) structure during the reduction process. In contrast, Pd_(70)Ni_(30)/MIL-101(Cr) revealed the stable structure and activity during reduction and CO oxidation for a long time.

Using the hydrothermal method, lanthanum hydroxide nanorods were synthesized by the reaction of LaC13·7H20, ethyl- enediamine, and hydrazine. According to SEM results, ethylenediamine and hydrazine with pH management could control the parti- cle growth and played an important role in formation of lanthanum hydroxide nanorods. The morphology and microstructure of the obtained products were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD） spectra, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy （EDX）, Fourier transformed infi＇ared （FTIR） spectrum, transmission electron microscopy （TEM）, and scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. Further- more, the effects of the molar ratio of the precursors as well as the reaction temperature and time on the morphology and particle size of the products were investigated.
