Discrimination among grapevine varieties based on quantitative traits,such as flowering,veraison and ripening dates is crucial for variety selection in the context of climate change and in breeding *** traits are under complex genetic control for which 6 linked SSR loci(VVS2,VVIn16,VMC7G3,VrZAG29,VMC5G7,and VVIB23)have been *** these markers in HRM-PCR analysis,we assessed genetic diversity among a large collection of 192 grapevine *** grapevine germplasm used encompasses the majority of Greek vineyard with 181 varieties,3 prominent foreign varieties and 11 varieties of Palestinian *** SSR markers used were highly polymorphic,displaying unique melting curves for unusually higher number of samples than generally observed in SSR *** prompted us to examine sequence composition for selected samples and found that variation present as SnPs in the flanking sequences of SSR motifs was responsible for the observed ***,HRM-PCR proved to be a tool of higher analytical power to distinguish genotypes surpassing the discrimination power of conventional gel-based SSR *** study provides a better understanding of genetic variation of SSR marker loci associated to phenological traits in grapevine varieties,signifying an analytical methodology that may be of higher discrimination power in detection of polymorphism for utilization in breeding programs.

The addition of magnetic Co0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanoparticles to the superconducting Cu0.5Tl0.5-1223 phase has been used to investigate the electrical resistivity behavior of the composite above the superconducting transition temperature Tc. This was studied according to the opening of spin gap and fluctuation conductivity. The results indicated that the pseudogap temperature (T*) and superconducting fluctuation temperature (Tscf) change by increasing the addition of Co0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanoparticles. It was found that T* is related to hole carrier concentration P and it also depends on the antiferromagnetic fluctuation affected by magnetic nanoparticles. The excess-conductivity analysis showed four different fluctuation regions started from high temperature up to Tc, and they were denoted by short wave (sw), two-dimensional (2D), three-dimensional (3D), and critical (cr) fluctuations. The crossover temperature between 3D and 2D (T3D-2D) in the mean field region was decreased by increasing the addition of Co0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanoparticles, in accordance with the decrease in Tscf with x. The coherence length at 0 K along c-axis ξc(0), effective layer thickness of the 2D system d, and inter-layer coupling strength J were estimated as a function of Co0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanoparticle addition. Moreover, the thermodynamics, lower and upper critical magnetic fields, as well as critical current density have been calculated from the Ginzburg number nG. It was found that the low concentration of Co0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanoparticles up to x = 0.08 wt% improves the superconducting parameters of Cu0.5Tl0.5-1223 phase. The utilisation of oil palm fibre(OPF)and pineapple leaf fibres(PALF)as reinforcement materials for bio-phenolic composites is growing especially in automotive lightweight *** major aim of this current study is to investigate the influence of alkali(Ca(OH)_(2)) treatment on pure and hybrid *** effects of enhancements in chemical interactions were evaluated by the Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectrometer(FTIR).Dynamic Mechanical Analysis(DMA)and Thermogravimetric Analysis(TGA)performance of untreated reinforcements(OPF and PALF)and treated(OPF/OPF)composites at varying temperature and noted sufficient interfacial bonding contributing towards the improvements in thermal *** DMA results,the storage modulus improved with treated composites while the damping factor was ***,the treated hybrid composites exhibited significant improvements in thermal stability compared to untreated fibre *** results indicated that alkali calcium hydroxide(Ca(OH2(:T)incorporation in hybrid composites(OPF/PALF)results in increased tensile strength and modulus among all ***,the alkali-treated(Ca(OH)_(2))-treated pure composite(T/50%PALF),and hybrid composites(T/1OPF.1PALF)exhibited better flexural strength as compared with other *** contrast,the T/50%PALF showed higher flexural stress of 78.2 MPa,while the flexural modulus was recorded at 6503 *** can be proposed from the findings of this study that the alkali treatment(5%Ca(OH)_(2))can be utilised to improve the strength and efficiency of agriculture biomass to be used as reinforcements in ***,the hybridisation of bio-fibre composites has the potential as a novel variety of biodegradable and sustainable composites appropriate for several industrial and engineering applications.

Aim： To assess seminal plasma anti-Müllerian hormone （AMH） level relationships in fertile and infertile males. Methods： Eighty-four male cases were studied and divided into four groups： fertile normozoospermia （n = 16）, oligoastheno- teratozoospermia （n = 15）, obstructive azoospermia （OA）（n = 13） and non-obstructive azoospermia （nOA）（n = 40）. Conventional semen analysis was done for all cases. Testicular biopsy was done with histopathology and fresh tissue examination for testicular sperm extraction （TESE） in nOA cases. nOA group was subdivided according to TESE results into unsuccessful TESE （n = 19） and successful TESE （n = 21）. Seminal plasma AMH was estimated by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA） and serum follicular stimulating hormone （FSH） was estimated in nOA cases only by radioimmunoassay （RIA）. Results： Mean seminal AMH was significantly higher in fertile group than in oligoasthenoteratozoospermia with significance （41.5±10.9 pmol/L vs. 30.5±10.3 pmol/L, P 〈 0.05）. Seminal AMH was not detected in any OA patients. Seminal AMH wascorrelated positively with testicular volume （r = 0.329, P = 0.005）, sperm count （r = 0.483, P = 0.007）, sperm motility percent （r = 0.419, P = 0.021） and negatively with sperm abnormal forms percent （r = -0.413, p = 0.023）. nonsignificant correlation was evident with age （r = -0.155, P = 0.414） and plasma FSH （ r = -0.014, P = 0.943）. In nOA cases, seminal AMH was detectable in 23/40 cases, 14 of them were successful TESE （57.5%） and was undetectable in 17/40 cases, 10 of them were unsuccessful TESE （58.2%）. Conclusion： Seminal plasma AMH is an absolute testicular marker being absent in all OA cases. However, seminal AMH has a poor predictability for successful testicular sperm retrieval in nOA cases.

The angular distributions of 7Li+144Sm elastic scattering over the energy range of 21.6–52 MeV are reanalyzed utilizing various interaction *** analysis aims to study the consistency of the implemented potentials in representing the considered data and investigate the cluster nature of the weakly bound 7Li *** will aid in the better understanding the impacts of 7Li breakup on the elastic scattering *** coupling to the breakup channel has a substantial impact on the elastic data and reproduces a repulsive dynamical polarization potential,which drastically diminishes the real potential *** reported impact was simulated by introducing a semi-microscopic repulsive DPP and by implementing the method of continuum discretized coupled *** analysis was also extended to understand the impact of triton transfer on the elastic scattering data.

Superconductor samples of type (CoFe2O4)xGdBa2Cu3O7-δ (0≤x≤0.1) were synthesized by the conventional solid-state reaction technique, whereas nanosized CoFe2O4 was prepared by co-precipitation method with grain size of about 8.5 nm. The elemental content of the prepared samples was determined using particle induced X-ray emission (PIXE). The temperature dependence of real (χ’) and imaginary (χ?) components of AC magnetic susceptibility (ACMS) at different magnetic field amplitude (3-15 Oe) was investigated. The analysis of the temperature dependence of ACMS was performed using Bean critical state model. The values of the critical current density J c at T > T p (T p is the inter-granular loss peak temperature) were calculated as a function of magnetic field and nanosized CoFe2O4 content. It was found that the low nanosized CoFe2O4 addition content (x = 0.01) improves the critical current density J c of Gd-123 superconducting phase. The observed variation of J c with temperature indicated that the weak links are changed from superconductor-normal metal-superconductor (SnS) for free sample to superconductor-insulator-superconductor (SIS) type of junctions for samples added with nanosized CoFe2O4 of x > 0.01. We also discussed the experimental results in the framework of the critical state model to estimate the effective volume fraction of the grains f g using Cole-Cole plots.
