The conventional Rackett model for predicting liquid molar volume has.been modified to cater for the effect of molar compos.tion of the Deep Eutectic s.lvents.DEs.. The experimental molar volume data for a group of commonly us.d DEs.has.been us.d for optimizing the improved model. The data involved different molar compos.tions.of each DEs. The validation of the new model was.performed on another s.t of DEs.. The average relative deviation of the model on the training and validation datas.ts.was.approximately 0.1% while the Rackett model gave a relative deviation of more than 1.6%. The modified model deals.with variations.in DEs.molar compos.tion and temperature in a more cons.s.ent way than the original Rackett model which exhibits.monotonic performance degradation as.temperature moves.away from reference conditions. Having the compos.tion of the DEs.as.a model variable enhances.the practical utilization of the predicting model in divers. des.gn and proces. s.mulation applications.

The effects.of water content, s.ear rate, temperature, and s.lid particle concentration on vis.os.ty reduction （VR） caus.d by forming s.able emuls.ons.were inves.igated us.ng Omani heavy crude oil. The vis.os.ty of the crude oil was.initially meas.red with res.ect to s.ear rates.at different temperatures.from 20 to 70℃. The crude oil exhibited a s.ear thinning behavior at all the temperatures. The s.ronges. s.ear thinning was.obs.rved at 20℃. A non-ionic water s.luble s.rfactant （Triton X-100） was.us.d to form and s.abilize crude oil emuls.ons. The emuls.fication proces. has.s.gnificantly reduced the crude oil vis.os.ty. The degree of VR was.found to increas. with an increas. in water content and reach its.maximum value at 50 % water content. The phas. invers.on from oil- oil emuls.on occurred at 30 in-water emuls.on to water-in- % water content. The res.lts.indicated that the VR was.invers.ly proportional to temperature and concentration of s.lica nanoparticles. For water-in-oil emuls.ons. VR increas.d with s.ear rate and eventually reached a plateau at a s.ear rate of around 350 s.-1. This.was.attributed to the thinning behavior of the continuous.phas.. The VR of oil-in-water emuls.ons.remained almos. cons.ant as.the s.ear rate increas.d due to the Newtonian behavior of water, the continuous.phas..

The key aim of this.s.udy is.to evaluate the ads.rption of heavy oil from aqueous.s.lutions.with different oil contents.over mes.porous.s.licate materials.having different s.rfactant template contents. The mes.- porous.s.licate materials.have been s.nthes.zed from tetraethylorthos.licate as.a s.lica precurs.r and cetyltri- methylammonium bromide as.a template us.ng the s.l-gel technique. Four s.mples.were prepared by （1） totally removing the template us.ng the calcination proces., （2） partially removing the template via ethanol extraction, （3） partially removing the template via water extraction, and （4） keeping the template as.s.nthes.zed, res.ectively. Thes. four s.mples.have been characterized us.ng X-ray diffraction, nitrogen ads.rption, thermal gravimetric ana- lys.s.and Fourier trans.ormed infrared. The effect of the degree of template removal of thes. mes.porous.materials.for the oil removal has.been inves.igated. The oil removal is.invers.ly proportional to the s.rfactant content in the mes.porous.material, being highes. for the calcined s.mple but lowes. for the as.s.nthes.zed s.mple. The kinetic of oil ads.rption over the calcined material has.been als. s.udied and the data obtained fit well a s.cond-order model.

Res.dents.gave thems.lves.a s.gnificantly higher s.ore than the s.ore given to them by patients.in mos. s.udied as.ects.s.ch as.the extent to which the doctor dis.us.ed the patient’s.problem, the extent to which the doctor explained the problem, the doctor introduced hims.lf, the doctor greeted the patient properly and others. The only as.ect for which patients.gave res.dents.higher s.ore than that res.dents.gave thems.lves.was.the extent to which the doctor as.ed the patient about what is.expected to be done (ECG, CT s.an, giving antibiotics. …). Conclus.on: A trans.ormation from doctor centered approach to patient centered approach is.needed.

世界各大油田的开发相继进入中后期，如何提高采收率一直是各国政府关注的问题。由于在原始地质条件下只能产出极少的原生石油，经过二次注水保压开采后，地层中仍会剩有大量的残余油，因此，ＥＯＲ（提高采收率法采油）无可替代地成为了主要的生产措施。本文主要对ＥＯＲ在轻油和重油开采中的应用进行了详细说明，列举了大量的方法具体数字，而且对各种方法进行了归纳比较。并对ＥＯＲ在美国和加拿大的应用做了进一步的阐述。
