Discriminating barren and fertile intrusions is one of the main challenges in the search for rare-element *** comprising more than one element can make discrimination of productive and barren samples more *** diagrams distinguish samples by simultaneous means of positive and/or negative correlations between variables.A ternary diagram for S-type peraluminous granites has been obtained in this ***,a database composed of Ta-bearing and barren granitic systems was created,then geochemical behavior of trace elements was studied,and statistical investigations were done using GCDkit software,which resulted in the Ga-(Nb+Ta)-(Nb/Ta)(Zr/Hf)ternary diagram which can distinguish the non-mineralized granites from productive *** Ta-bearing samples,which are situated in the fertile field in the diagram,are those which have high Nb and Ta contents,elevated Ga content and the lowest Nb/Ta and Zr/Hf values.

In this study, a baffled photocatalytic reactor was used for the treatment of colored wastewater containing the azo dye of Acid Orange 52(AO52). A study on the active species of the photocatalytic process using TiO_2 nanoparticles indicated that hydroxyl radical and superoxide have the greatest contribution to the dye degradation process *** that a level of biological oxygen demand/chemical oxygen demand(BOD5/COD) equal to 0.4 was achieved after about 5 hr from the beginning of the experiment, the reactor seems to be capable of purifying the wastewater containing AO52 dye after this time in order to discharge into a biological treatment system to continue the treatment *** results of the liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS) test showed that during the first 4 hr of the experiment, with the breakdown of the azo bond, the contaminant was decomposed into the benzene annular compounds with less toxicity indicating a reduction in the toxicity of wastewater after removing the dye agent. The study on the kinetics of these reactions followed the pseudo-first-order kinetic model in all conditions and corresponded well to Langmuir–Hinshelwood model. According to the kinetic model for the simultaneous occurrence of possible pathways, the kinetic constant of production and degradation of intermediate products in optimal conditions was estimated to be between 0.0029 and 0.0391 min^(-1).

Preyssler acid H14[NaP5W30O110] was used as reducing agent and stabilizer for the synthesis of gold nanoparticles by photolysis of Au(III)/Preyssler acid/propan-2-ol *** acid plays both the role of transferring electrons from propan-2-ol to Au(III) and stabilizing the ***-2-ol was used as sacrificial reagent for the photoformation of reduced Preyssler *** nanoparticles (Au NPs) were characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy,transmission electron microscopy (TEM),and particle size distribution (PSD) *** synthesized Au NPs had a uniform hexagonal morphology and their size was about 17 *** catalytic performance of these NPs for photodegradation of methyl orange (MeO) was investigated in aqueous ***-Vis studies showed that Au NPs can catalyze photodegradation of this azo *** pseudo-first-order rate constants were also calculated for this reaction.

UV irradiation hydrogen peroxide （H202） system is used as an effective, easy and low-cost combined depolymerization technique to produce oligosaccharides from chitosan. UV-Vis spectroscopic studies explained that with increasing treatment time, the absorption of the depolymerized chitosan solution has increased, indicating the increase in the carbonyl and amino groups in their structure. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance （1H NMR） analysis showed that the 1,4-β-D-glucoside linkages of chitosan are degraded without important changes in chemical structure of decomposed samples. X-ray diffraction patterns verified the polymerization of chitosan to produce oligomers, changing in structure from crystalline to amorphous. Viscosity-average molecular weight measurements of fragmented chitosan samples and MarkHouwink equation are used to demonstrate the efficiency of this depolymerization method. OBJECTIVE: To describe the common causes of headache as well as the different methods of Phlebotomy(Fasd) and wet Cupping(Hijamat) based on Persian ***: In this study, we searched Google Scholar, Science Direct, Pub Med and Scopus to get any in vitro or clinical evidence of the efficacy and possible mechanisms of phlebotomy or wet cupping on different types of headaches. Also different types of headaches, according to PM, under the title of "Sodaa"; extracted from famous Persian medical text books with key words including "Sodaa","Bayze" and "Shaqiqe".RESULTS: According to PM, diseases(dystemperament) are created by abnormal alteration in temperament. Temperament is a monolithic quality yielded by interaction between opposing qualities of four elements that are coldness, hotness, dryness and wetness. Headaches are caused by dystemperament(sue-Mizaj) in brain or in total body that are divided into simple and corporal. Common forms of the latter type are Vaporal and Migrant headache(Bokhari and Rihi). Each of these headaches is treated either through phlebotomy or wet ***: In Persian Medicine, Fasd and Hijamat are easy and economical methods for treatment of headache with reasonable results. By describing the precise areas and indications of phlebotomy and wet cupping, this study provides the first step for future clinical trials in this field.

Background: The use of traditional and complementary medicine (T&CM) is increasing in both developed and developing countries. The school of Persian medicine (PM) in Iran is a comprehensive medical school that is rich in history and has its own special principles, elements, philosophy, and diagnostic and treatment options. Many complementary therapy modalities are also popular and in demand among patients and physicians. The aim of this paper is to provide logic for the policymakers in Iranian medical education to make changes in medical education curricula, particularly on integrating T&CM. Methods: We reviewed the global experience in teaching T&CM to medical students, and highlighting the strengths of PM, described why it is necessary to integrate T&CM into general medicine curricula in Iran. Results: PM is a traditional system of medicine that dates back about 7000 years. Although there are few studies about the safety and effectiveness of PM, research into it has recently been accelerated. There is a suitable opportunity for integrating T&CM with conventional medicine. Physicians should be familiar with T&CM to avoid any contraindications, interactions, and unwanted effects. Conclusion: Traditional medicine is part of Iran's heritage and. thus, needs special attention. Familiarization of physicians with T&CM can help them choose the best treatment options for their patients. To integrate T&CM into the medical education curricula of Iran, a two-credit course has been proposed for implementation across the country.

Kaiy(medieval cautery)is an ancient method of heat therapy in traditional Persian medicine(TPM).Some of its important applications have been neglected during the medical ***,different treatment modalities that incorporate heat,including moxibustion,have progressed in traditional Chinese *** this study,we reviewed the main TPM textbooks that were written specifically in the field of *** considered the traditional teachings in the context of contemporary information,gathered from the scientific literature about moxibustion and modern *** surgical therapeutic indications of kaiy(e.g.,debridement and coagulative procedures)have been advanced by the innovation of ***,those therapeutic applications that were based on the TPM humoral theory for relieving body coldness or myofascial pains—which are similar to moxibustion usages—have not received the same *** from the broad similarities of kaiy and moxibustion as thermal therapies with similar indications,there is a striking correspondence between kaiy point mapping and ***,further research on different kaiy aspects is recommended.
