Study of structural,electrical and optical properties of vanadium oxide condensed films deposited by spray pyrolysis technique

Vanadium oxides condensed films are prepared on glass substrates, using spray pyrolysis （SP） technique. The effects of substrate temperature, vanadium concentra- tion in initial solution and the solution spray rate on the nano-structural, electrical, and optical properties of depos- ited films were investigated. Characterizations of the sam- ples were performed using X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, and UV-Vis spec- troscopy methods. The type and concentration of the charge carriers were determined and measured by Hall effect experiment. XRD patterns showed that the prepared films had polycrystalline structure, mostly tetragonal fl-V205 and V409 phases with the preferred orientation along （200） direction. The Hall effect experiment revealed that all samples were n-type, except the ones deposited at substrate temperatures Tsub ： 300 ~C and Tsub = 450 ~C, vanadium concentration 0.1 mol/L and solution spray rate 10 mL/min. The charge carrier concentrations obtained were in the range 1016-1018 cm-3. The lowest sheet resistance （R~） was obtained for the samples prepared at T^ub = 450 ~C, vana- dium concentration 0.05 mol/L and solution spray rate 10 mL/min. It was also found that the optical transparency of the samples changed from 20% to 75% and the optical bandgap of the samples was from 2.22 eV to 2.58 eV, depending on the deposition conditions.

The objective of this paper was to identify the factors affecting rice growers’attitudes and practices towards water and soil conservation in the Fumanat Plain of Guilan Province,*** were collected through a survey questionnaire addressing a cross section of 400 rice growers of the Fumanat Plain in four *** were analyzed using both summary statistics and multivariate statistical procedures while content validity of the statements was first determined by a group of experts of water and soil *** was found that more than 23% of the variance of attitudes towards water and soil conservation could be determined by a linear combination of variables included in a regression *** the factors affecting rice growers’attitudes is suggested as a way of integrating rice cultivation into rural *** a practical point of view,the above mentioned implications are of great importance generally for society,policy makers and related economic sectors.

Since long ago, indirect study of the underground layers properties has been interesting to *** method for this study was seismography which gained great interest besides other tools due to thedifferent identity of waves and energy attraction phenomena in different layers. Vertical seismic profiling(VSP) is considered as a valuable method in oil and gas exploration. This method is used to estimate therock properties in a well. In seismic operations elastic waves are sent down to the underground. Part ofthe waves’ energy is reflected after passing through the earth layers and are received by receivers on theground level. The received data determine the situation of the underneath layers after being processed,and one of the most important applications of seismic data is in the oil and gas exploration field. Qualityfactor is one of the most important seismic detectors that shows itself apparently in VSP data results. Themost substantial purpose of this study is to investigate the frequency content of the quality factor.

Estimation of Formation Enthalpies of Organic Pollutants from a New Structural Group Contribution Method

Chemical stability and reactivity of organic pollutants is dependent to their formation enthalpies. The main objective of this study is to provide simple straightforward strategy for prediction of the formation enthalpies of wide range organic pollutants only from their structural functional groups. Using such an extended dataset cornprising 1694 organic chemicals from 77 diverse material classes benefits the generalizability and reliability of the study. The new suggested collection of 12 functional groups and a simple linear regression lead to promising statis- tics of R2= 0.958, Q2 =0.956, and AEE= 57 ***1-1 for the whole dataset. Moreover, unknown experimental formation enthalpies for 27 organic pollutants are estimated by the presented approach. The resultant model needs no technical software/calculations, and thus can be easily applied by a non-specialist user.

Sulfonic acid groups were grafted onto three different types of synthesized magnetic nanoparticles, namely Fe3O4, Fe3O4@SiO2, and Fe3O4@MCM-48. The sulfonic acid-functionalized nanoparticles were evaluated as catalysts for the synthesis of 5-aryl-1H-benzo[f]chromeno[2,3-d]pyrimidine-2,4(3H,5H)-dione derivatives in terms of activity and recyclability. Their catalytic activities were compared with that of the homogeneous acid catalyst 1-methylimidazolium hydrogen sulfate([HMIm][HSO4]). The activity of Fe3O4@MCM-48–SO3H was comparable to those of the other heter-ogeneous and homogeneous catalysts.

采用搅拌铸造和挤压法制备Mg/HA复合材料,并在其表面采用静电纺丝法涂覆聚己内酯/羟基磷灰石(PCL/HA)纤维(2.5%和5%HA,质量分数),以提高其耐腐蚀性。力学性能测试结果表明,复合材料的压缩屈服强度从73MPa(纯镁)提高到151MPa,提高了107%。SEM、EDS和XRD分析表明,HA颗粒分布在多孔涂层中。极化曲线结果表明,涂层试样的耐腐蚀性能均优于未涂覆试样。PCL涂层使样品的腐蚀电流密度降低了两个数量级。通过极化和体外腐蚀试验证明了HA在涂层中的有效性。涂层和随后形成的Ca-P层阻碍了模拟体液与基体的接触和渗透,从而起到保护表面的作用。PCL/2.5%HA涂层样品的腐蚀速率最低,其平均值为0.98mm/a,与未涂层样品相比,在14天内减少了81%。根据3天MTT结果,使用PCL/2.5%HA涂层可使细胞活性从43%提高到121%。综上,涂覆PCL/2.5%HA纤维的Mg/HA复合材料在生物可吸收植入物方面具有广阔的应用前景。

The purity of soil map units and their quality for various uses like land suitability evaluation are always *** main objective of this study was to compare the precision of qualitative land suitability classification based on geostatistical and conventional soil mapping methods for main irrigated crops in the Shahrekord Plain,Central Iran.A regular grid sampling method consisting 104sample points was designed and soil samples were *** kriged maps were achieved for all studied soil attributes after physico-chemical ***,to combine kriged maps and ecological requirements of the studied crops,a script was designed in ILWIS 3.4 software and consequently,kriged qualitative land suitability maps were *** qualitative land suitability was also mapped based on the representative pedon analysis in each soil map ***,comparison of the conventional and kriged maps was carried out using the statistical method,error *** results showed that the overall accuracies of wheat,sugar beet,potato and alfalfa maps were 39.8%,24.3%,18.7%and 18.6%at subclass category,respectively,whereas these values increased to80.9%,82.3%,23.7%and 82.3%at class level,***,it can be stated that thanks to the relative facility of conventional soil survey compared with geostatistical methods,this method can be expressed as a preferable way for handling a usual land suitability evaluation design;but using soil map units as land suitability delineations may lead to unsatisfactory results in estimation of quantity and type of existing limitations.

Objective:To determine the amount of azinphos methyl and diazinon residues in two river fishes,Liza aurata and Cyprinus carpio,in the north of ***:This study was done *** this survey,152 water and fish samples from Gorgan and Qarasu rivers,north of Iran,were *** was done in three predetermined stations along each *** compounds(OPs)were extracted from the fishes and the water of *** extraction,purification and concentration processes,the amount and type of insecticides in water and fish samples were determined by high performance thin layer chromatography(HPTLC).Results:There was a significant difference in the residue of the insecticides in the water and fish samples between summer and other seasons in the two *** highest amount of insecticides residue was seen during *** both rivers,the amount of diazinon and azinphos methyl residues in the two fishes was more than 2000 mg/L in *** was no significant difference in insecticides residue between the fishes in two *** diazinon residue was higher than the standard limits in both rivers during the spring and the summer,but the residual amount of azinphos methyl was higher than the standard limits only during the summer and only in Qarasu ***:It can be concluded that the amount of OPs in the water and the two fishes,Liza aurata and Cyprinus carpio,is higher than the permitted levels.
