This study investigates the influence of fintech on developments in China’s financial sector across 290 cities and 31 provinces between 2011 and *** a two-stage least squares instrumental variable regression approach and correcting for cross-sectional dependency,simultaneity,and endogeneity of regressors,the results establish a positive link between fintech and financial *** findings show that fintech supports financial sector development by enhancing access(loans),depth(deposits),and savings within China’s financial *** also show that the emergence of fintech in the area of financial regulation(regulatory technology:regtech)can significantly improve financial development ***,it is imperative for regulators to pursue policies that balance growth in the fintech sector while mitigating the associated *** addition,we use the difference-in-differences approach to show that policy measures such as interest rates liberalization also positively impacted finan-cial development during the analysis *** our conclusion,we suggest a policy framework for balanced fintech sector growth in developing countries.

The effects of ion thermal flow on the electric and hydrodynamic characteristics of a plasma sheath are examined using a multi-fluid *** comparison with cold plasma,ion pressure is modeled by a power law dependence on the ion density in warm *** pressure force on the ion depends on the ion density,ion temperature,and a nearly constant parameter called the ion polytropic *** well-known quantities for this coefficient,γi=1 and 3,are considered,corresponding to isothermal and adiabatic flows,*** numerical calculations show that increasing the ion temperature decreases the sheath thickness and increases the ion impact energy and ion saturation current at the *** ion polytropic coefficient has the same effect as the ion temperature and intensifies the ion temperature effects.

Construction of metro tunnels in dense and crowded urban areas is faced with many risks, such as subsidence. The purpose of this paper was the prediction of subsidence risk by failure mode and effect analysis(FMEA) and fuzzy inference system(FIS). Fuzzy theory will be able to model uncertainties. Fuzzy FMEA provides a tool that can work in a better way with vague concepts and without sufficient information than conventional FMEA. In this paper, S and D are obtained from fuzzy rules and O is obtained from artificial neural network(ANN). FMEA is performed by developing a fuzzy risk priority number(FrPN).The FrPN for two stations in Tehran No.4 subway line is 3.1 and 5.5, respectively. To investigate the suitability of this approach, the predictions by FMEA have been compared with actual data. The results show that this method can be useful in the prediction of subsidence risk in urban tunnels.

There are a variety of Internet of Things(IoT)applications that cover different aspects of daily *** of these applications has different criteria and sub-criteria,making it difficult for the user to *** requires an automated approach to select IoT applications by considering *** paper presents a novel recommendation system for presenting applications on the ***,using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP),a multi-layer architecture of the criteria and sub-criteria in IoT applications is *** architecture is used to evaluate and rank IoT *** a result,finding the weight of the criteria and subcriteria requires a metaheuristic *** this paper,a sequential quadratic programming algorithm is used to find the optimal weight of the criteria and sub-criteria *** the best of our knowledge,this is the first study to use an analysis of metaheuristic criteria and sub-criteria to design an IoT application recommendation *** evaluations and comparisons in the experimental results section show that the proposed method is a comprehensive and reliable model for the construction of an IoT applications recommendation system.

Thermal neutron albedo has been investigated for different thicknesses of mono-material and bi-material reflectors. An equation has been obtained for a bi-material reflector by considering the neutron diffusion equation. The bi-material reflector consists of binary combinations of water, graphite, lead, and polyethylene. An experimental measurement of thermal neutron albedo has also been conducted for mono-material and bi-material reflectors by using a^(241) Am–Be(5.2 Ci) neutron source and a BF3 detector. The maximum value of thermal neutron albedo was obtained for a polyethylene–water combination(0.95 ± 0.02).

Strain Energy of the structure can be changed with the damage at the damage *** accurate detection of the damage location using this index in a force system is dependent on the degree of accuracy in determining the structure deformation function before and after *** use of modal-based methods to identify damage in complex bridges is always associated with problems due to the need to consider the effects of higher modes and the adverse effct of operational conditions on the extraction of structural modal *** this paper,the deformation of the structure was determined by the concept of influence line using the Betti-Maxwell *** two damage detection indicators were developed based on strain energy *** indices were presented separately for bending and torsion *** element analysis of a five-span concrete curved bridge was done to validate the stated *** was simulated by decreasing stiffness at different sections of the *** response regarding displacement ofa point on the deck was measured along each span by passing a moving load on the bridge at very low *** of the strain energy extracted from displacement influence line and the strain energy extracted from the rotational displacement influence line(SErIL)were calculated for the studied *** results show that the proposed methods have well identified the location of the damage by significantly reducing the number of sensors required to record the ***,the location of symmetric damages is detected with high resolution using SErIL.

Erosion,scour and sedimentation are the most common phenomena which should be considered in the design of marine *** and oceans are dynamic environments,hence studying them in more details,gathering more information about their bathymetric changes and pursuing their historical evolution could be beneficial in the efficient design of marine structures such as:jetties,groins and *** achieve this goal one desperately needs to know about currents and waves and the effects of their interactions as well as the rate of sedimentation(Net Gain),and erosion(Net Loss)in the *** the other hand,to obtain a sufficient depth to facilitate marine traffics in the harbors the rate of sediment deposition must be calculated,offering effective annual dredging *** this research the pool of Nowshahr port and some parts to the east and west were *** transport direction was compatible with the counter-clock-wise circulation of the Sothern part of Caspian *** data,water surface elevation,and hydrographic points from the bathymetric surveys applied in the hydrodynamic module of Mike 21 and the output of the hydrodynamic module(HD)were used as inputs for sediment transport module(ST).The result of the ST module shows that the main direction considering dominant waves is from northwest of the Caspian Sea to the ***,net rate of sediment transfer is from west to *** approaching to the main breakwater arms from the west side sediment transport rate decreases which means deposition occurs behind the western arm.

Achalasia: A review of Western and Iranian experiences

Achalasia is a primary motor disorder of the eso-phagus, in which esophageal emptying is impaired. Diagnosis of achalasia is based on clinical fi ndings. The diagnosis is confirmed by radiographic, endoscopic, and manometric evaluations. Several treatments for achalasia have been introduced. We searched the PubMed Database for original articles and meta-analyses about achalasia to summarize the current knowledge regarding this disease, with particular focus on different procedures that are used for treatment of achalasia. We also report the Iranian experience of treatment of this disease, since it could be considered as a model for medium-resource countries. Myotomy, particularly laparoscopic myotomy with fundoplication, is the most effective treatment for achalasia. Compared to other treatments, however, the initial cost of myotomy is usually higher and the recovery period is longer. When performing myotomy is not indicated or not possible, graded pneumatic dilation with slow rate of balloon inflation seems to be an effective and safe initial alternative. Injection of botulinum toxin into the lower esophageal sphincter before pneumatic dilation may increase remission rates. However, this needs to be conf irmed in further studies. Due to lack of adequate information regarding the role of expandable stents in the treatment of achalasia, insertion of stents does not currently seem to be a recommended treatment. In summary, laparoscopic myotomy can be considered as the procedure of choice for treatment of achalasia. Graded pneumatic dilation is an effective alternative when the performance of myotomy is not possible for any reason.

In this study, 1,3-disulfonic acid imidazolium hydrogen sulfate （DSIMHS） is used as an efficient and reusable ionic liquid for the green, mild, and efficient synthesis of xanthenes under solvent-free conditions. Simple and easy work-up, low cost, green process, short reaction times and excellent yields of the products are the advantages of this procedure. Further, the catalyst can be recycled and reused at least for four times without a noticeably decrease in its catalytic activity.
