Seismic attribute analysis approach has been applied for the interpretation and identification of fault geometry of Zamzama Gas Field. Zamzama gas field area, which lies in the vicinity of Kirthar fold and thrust belt, Southern Indus Basin of Pakistan. The Zamzama fault and its related structure have been predicted by applying the Average Energy Attribute, Instantaneous Frequency Attribute, relative Acoustic Impedance Attribute and Chaotic Reflection Attribute on the seismic line GHPK98 A.34. The results have been confirmed by applying the spectral decomposition attribute on the same seismic line that reveal the geometric configuration of Zamzama structure. The fault is reverse and started from 0 s and ended at the depth of 2.5 s on the vertical seismic section. Hanging wall moves up along the fault plane under the action of eastward oriented stress, which formed a large northesouth oriented and eastward verging thrusted anticline.

Study of Common Urinary Problems of Females at a Government Hospital in Central India

Aim: The aim of this study is to identify the common urinary problems in Indian females, their etiology and symtomatology. Material and Methods: This is a prospective epidemiological study of 703 female patients with urinary problems, who attended the surgery and gynecology OPD (outpatient department) in our institution which is a tertiary referral centre in central India. Result: 58% of patients were middle age (31 - 55) yrs. Burning micturition was the most common urinary complain (607 patients) followed by increased frequency of micturition (309 patients). 68% females took months or even years to take first consultation after appearance of their symptoms. 14% percent of patients suffered from urinary incontinence (stress, urge and mixed). 86% of women had education level below fifth standard. About 58% of females gave birth to 3 or more than 3 issues. About 254 (36%) patients had one or more unassisted delivery at home. Thirty eight percent of patients still remained undiagnosed. More than 50% of undiagnosed females lie in middle age group. 68% of undiagnosed patients took consultation months or years after their symptoms first appeared. Irritative symptoms are the most common presenting complains of these undiagnosed patients followed by pain in abdomen. Around 60% of patients had history of either mental distress, domestic violence or any neuropschiatric disease. This study only gives us an idea about the urinary problems faced by females and their probable causative factors. Many more studies need to be done involving multidisciplinary approach in order to benefit this section of our society.

Weight penalty has been a challenge for design engineers of aerospace vehicles.Today’s high-efficiency combat aircraft undergoes intense stress and strain during flying missions,which require stronger and stiffer materials to retain structural integrity.Though metallic materials have been successfully used for the construction of aircraft structures and components,metals still have a low strength-to-weight ratio.This paper aims to develop an alternate optimised material selection methodology to replace the metallic skin of a medium-sized military aircraft.The search for the optimum material will result in reduced aircraft weight which will be benefitted by extra payload on the aircraft.The selection methodology is comprised of finding design pressure limits on the aircraft skin,and comparison of properties(strength,elastic modulus,shear modulus,etc.)and performance(safety factor,deflection,and stress)of the existing metallic skin with alternate optimised material.The comparison was made under aerodynamic pressure,bending force,and twisting moment.Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer/Epoxy(CFRP)Uni-Directional(UD)prepreg(elastic modolus is 209 GPa)was selected as an alternate optimum material to replace the aluminium alloy skin of the aircraft studied.The selected alternate optimum material resulted in the reduction of aircraft skin weight by 30%.

Plant tissue culture is a technique that enhances the quality and quantity of potatoes. Potatoes are a significant crop and are primarily used in the world. It is a staple food in many countries, where millions of tonnes are produced annually. It is an essential source of many nutrients, such as proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, and beta-carotene. In addition, potatoes are being used as therapeutic agents against cancer and other human diseases as well. Potatoes are on the third list after wheat and rice. To overcome food shortages and malnutrition, there are two methods used for producing potatoes: the first is sexual, which is seed propagation, and the second is asexual, which is plant tissue culture propagation. Conventional potato breeding is a uniform method, but it is unsafe because there is a risk of pathogen attack. In a laboratory setting, the tissue culture of potatoes produced millions of plants with nutrient-rich medium under controlled environmental conditions that prevent pest attacks. Some environmental stresses, such as salinity and water scarcity, affect potato yield and production;however, applying nanoparticles like organic, inorganic, and silicon dioxide enhances potato quality and combats stress. Biotechnology has proven to be helpful in addressing all these issues. This review discusses the significance of potatoes, their production through the tissue culture technique, and the application of nanoparticles to improve the growth, and impact of potatoes on human health.

Objectives The objective of our study was to evaluate the impact of a multifaceted stewardship intervention on adherence to the evidence-based practice guidelines on treatment of uncomplicated cystitis in primary care.We hypothesised that our intervention would increase guideline adherence in terms of antibiotic choice and duration of treatment.Design A preintervention and postintervention comparison with a contemporaneous control group was performed.During the first two study periods,we obtained baseline data and performed interviews exploring provider prescribing decisions for cystitis at both clinics.During the third period in the intervention clinic only,the intervention included a didactic lecture,a decision algorithm and audit and feedback.We used a difference-in differences analysis to determine the effects of our intervention on the outcome and guideline adherence to antibiotic choice and duration.Setting Two family medicine clinics(one intervention and one control)were included.Participants All female patients with uncomplicated cystitis attending the study clinics between 2016 and 2019.Results Our sample included 932 visits representing 812 unique patients with uncomplicated cystitis.The proportion of guideline-adherent antibiotic regimens increased during the intervention period(from 33.2%(95%CI 26.9 to 39.9)to 66.9%(95%CI 58.4 to 74.6)in the intervention site and from 5.3%(95%CI 2.3 to 10.1)to 17.0%(95%CI 9.9 to 26.6)in the control site).The increase in guideline adherence was greater in the intervention site compared with the control site with a difference-in differences of 22 percentage points,p=0.001.Conclusion A multifaceted intervention increased guideline adherence for antibiotic choice and duration in greater magnitude than similar trends at the control site.Future research is needed to facilitate scale-up and sustainability of case-based audit and feedback interventions in primary care.

The activity of antioxidative enzymes system is affected by salt stress, chlorophyll content (CHL), leaf relative water content (RWC), Na+ and K+ contents, their ratio and some oxidative stress indices were studied in leaves of ten bread wheat cultivarsSehar-06, Lu-26, NARC-09, BARC-09 and Pirsbak-09’(salt-tolerant) and Kaghan-94, Rohtas-90, Soughat-90, Shaheen-94 and Zardana-89’(salt-sensitive), grown under salinity treatments carried out in five levels (1 dS·m-1 as control, 2, 4, 8, 16 dS·m-1) via sodium chloride. Under high salt potency significant increase for activities of antioxidant enzymes such as ascorbate peroxidase (APX) and guiacol peroxidase (GPX), occured in salt tolerant varieties. Meanwhile, under salinity condition the activities of antioxidant enzymes such as superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and (GPX) in sensitive cultivar were lower than control. Regarding (APX) activity there was no significant difference between salinity and control situation. Under salt stress membrane stability index (MSI) of both cultivars were negatively influenced. Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) content of salinity sensitive cultivars was higher than control. Salt tolerant varieties had more amounts of K+ content, K+ and Na+ ratio, relative water content, yield and chlorophyll under salt conditions, and sensitive ones recorded higher Na+ content at tillering stage. The mechanism of salt stress might be achieved due to low lipid peroxidation, assumingly lower changes in membrane stability index and evasion of Na+ combination and amplified activity of antioxidant enzymes.

Temporomandibular joint ankylosis, a debilitating disease mainly affecting children, is characterized by progres- sive restriction of mouth opening and maxilla-mandibular developmental deformities. Craniofacial distraction osteo- genesis has been developed as a standard surgical strategy for rectification of craniofacial deformities. The purpose of this study was to assess mono-planar distraction devices for the correction of various mandibular asymmetries in patients with unilateral temporomandibular joint ankylosis who developed restricted mouth opening and mandibular retrognathia. All patients were treated using one-stage distraction osteogenesis followed by temporalis fascia inter- positional arthroplasty under general anesthesia. A significant increase in mandibular ramus and base length was observed. Although an increase in anterior lower facial height was observed, it was not significant statistically. A decrease in posterior lower facial height and corpus was observed. Oblique distraction with angular osteotomy allowed lengthening of both the ramus and corpus, yielding satisfactory results and hence eliminating the need of secondary surgery. In conclusion, univector internal distractors are effective for correction of multi-planar mandib-ular deficiencies by optimizing its placement through meticulous planning.

Adults with Congenital Heart Disease during the COVID-19 Era:One-Year Tertiary Center Experience

Background:Adult patients with congenital heart disease(ACHD)might be at high risk of Coronavirus disease-2019(COVID-19).This study aimed to report on a one-year tertiary center experience regards COVID-19 infection in ACHD patients.Methods:This is a one-year(March-2020 to March-2021)tertiary-center retrospective study that enrolled all ACHD patients;COVID-19 positive patients’medical records,and management were reported.Results:We recorded 542 patients,205(37.8%)COVID-19-positive,and 337(62.2%)COVID-19-negative patients.Palliated single ventricle and Eisenmenger syndrome patients were more vulnerable to COVID-19 infection(P<0.05*).Cardiovascular COVID-19 complications were arrhythmias in 47(22.9%)patients,heart failure in 39(19.0%)patients,cyanosis in 12(5.9%)patients,stroke/TIA in 5(2.4%)patients,hypertension and infective endocarditis in 2(1.0%)patients for each,pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary embolism in 1(0.5%)patient for each.11(5.4%)patients were managed with home isolation,147(71.7%)patients required antibiotics,32(15.6%)patients required intensive care unit(ICU),8(3.9%)patients required inotropes,7(3.4%)patients required mechanical ventilation,and 2(1.0%)patients required extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO).Thromboprophylaxis was given to all 46(22.4%)hospitalized patients.American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association classification revealed that complex lesions,and FC-C/D categories were more likely to develop severe/critical symptoms,that required mechanical ventilation and ECMO(P<0.05*).Mortality was reported in 3(0.6%)patients with no difference between groups(P=0.872).193(35.6%)patients were vaccinated.Conclusions:COVID-19 infection in ACHD patients require individualized risk stratification and management.Eisenmenger syndrome,single ventricle palliation,complex lesions,and FC-C/D patients were more vulnerable to severe/critical symptoms that required ICU admission,mechanical ventilation,and ECMO.The vaccine was mostly tolerable.

The Android Operating System(AOS)has been evolving since its inception and it has become one of the most widely used operating system for the Internet of Things(IoT).Due to the high popularity and reliability ofAOS for IoT,it is a target of many cyber-attacks which can cause compromise of privacy,financial loss,data integrity,unauthorized access,denial of services and so on.The Android-based IoT(AIoT)devices are extremely vulnerable to various malwares due to the open nature and high acceptance of Android in the market.Recently,several detection preventive malwares are developed to conceal their malicious activities from analysis tools.Hence,conventional malware detection techniques could not be applied and innovative countermeasures against such anti-detection malwares are indispensable to secure the AIoT.In this paper,we proposed the novel deep learning-based real-time multiclass malware detection techniques for the AIoT using dynamic analysis.The results show that the proposed technique outperforms existing malware detection techniques and achieves detection accuracy up to 99.87%.

Effect of silica fume on the fresh and hardened properties of fly ash-based self-compacting geopolymer concrete

The effect of silica fume on the fresh and hardened properties of fly ash-based self-compacting geopolymer concrete （SCGC） was investigated in this paper. The work focused on the concrete mixes with a fixed water-to-geopolymer solid （W/Gs） ratio of 0.33 by mass and a constant total binder content of 400 kg/m3. The mass fractions of silica fume that replaced fly ash in this research were 0wt%, 5wt%, 10wt%, and 15wt%. The workability-related fresh properties of SCGC were assessed through slump flow, V-funnel, and L-box test methods. Hardened concrete tests were limited to compressive, splitting tensile and flexural strengths, all of which were measured at the age of 1, 7, and 28 d after 48-h oven curing. The results indicate that the addition of silica fume as a partial replacement of fly ash results in the loss of workability; nevertheless, the mechanical properties of hardened SCGC are significantly improved by incorporating silica fume, especially up to 10wt%. Applying this percentage of silica fume results in 4.3% reduction in the slump flow; however, it increases the compressive strength by 6.9%, tensile strength by 12.8% and flexural strength by 11.5%.
