Study of the pressure transient behavior of directional wells considering the effect of non-uniform flux distribution

During the production,the fluid in the vicinity of the directional well enters the wellbore with different rates,leading to non-uniform flux distribution along the directional ***,in all existing studies,it is oversimplified to a uniform flux distribution,which can result in inaccurate results for field ***,this paper proposes a semi-analytical model of a directional well based on the assumption of non-uniform flux ***,the direction well is discretized into a carefully chosen series of linear sources,such that the complex well trajectory can be captured and the nonuniform flux distribution along the wellbore can be considered to model the three-dimensional flow *** using the finite difference method,we can obtain the numerical solutions of the transient flow within the *** the aid of Green's function method,we can obtain the analytical solutions of the transient flow from the matrix to the *** complete flow behavior of a directional well is perfectly represented by coupling the above two types of transient ***,on the basis of the proposed model,we conduct a comprehensive analysis of the pressure transient behavior of a directional *** computation results show that the flux variation along the direction well has a significant effect on pressure *** addition,the directional well in an infinite reservoir may exhibit the following flow regimes:wellbore afterflow,transition flow,inclined radial flow,elliptical flow,horizontal linear flow,and horizontal radial *** horizontal linear flow can be observed only if the formation thickness is much smaller than the well ***,a dip region that appears on the pressure derivative curve indicates the three-dimensional flow behavior near the wellbore.

A low-melting-point metal doping strategy for the synthesis of small-sized intermetallic Pt_(5)Ce fuel cell catalysts

Carbon-supported platinum-lanthanum(Pt-Ln)intermetallic compound(IMC)nanoparticles with high activity and robust stability have been demonstrated as promising cathode catalysts for proton-exchange membrane fuel ***,the preparation of Pt-Ln IMC catalysts needs high-temperature annealing treatment that inevitably causes nanoparticle sintering,resulting in significant reduction of the electrochemical surface area and mass-based ***,we prepare small-sized M-doped Pt_(5)Ce(M=Ga,Cd,and Sb)IMCs catalysts via a low-melting-point metal doping *** speculate that the doping of low-melting-point metals can facilitate the generation of vacancies in the crystal lattice through thermal activation and thus reduce the kinetic barriers for the formation of intermetallic Pt_(5)Ce *** prepared Ga-doped Pt_(5)Ce catalyst exhibits a higher electrochemical active surface area(81 m^(2)·gPt^(-1))and a larger mass activity(0.45 A·mgPt^(-1)at 0.9 V)over the undoped Pt_(5)Ce and commercial Pt/C *** the membrane electrode assembly test,the Ga-doped Pt_(5)Ce cathode delivers a power density of 0.98 W·cm^(-2)at 0.67 V,along with a voltage loss of only 27 mV at 0.8 A·cm^(-2)at the end of accelerated stability test.

High-performance photodetectors hold promising potential in optical communication and imaging ***,conventional counterparts are suffering narrow detection range,high power consumption,and poor polarization *** originating from switchable polarization in ferroelectrics can be used to optimize the photo-to-electric procedure and improve the photodetection *** this regard,we constructed a configuration by integrating 2-dimensional molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))with ferroelectric lithium niobate(LiNbO_(3)),resulting in the MoS_(2)/LiNbO_(3)heterostructured *** from the pyroelectric effect of LiNbO_(3),the limitation of bandgap on the detection range can be broken,thus broadening the response band of the detector to 365 to 1,064 nm,as well as enabling the self-powered ***,high carrier mobility and decent light absorbance of MoS_(2)introduce robust light-matter interactions with the underlying LiNbO_(3),leading to ultrafast rise/fall times of≈150μs/250μs and switching ratios of up to≈***,the highest responsivity,specific detectivity,and external quantum efficiency achieved were 17.3 A·W^(-1),4.3×10^(11)Jones,and 4,645.78%,***,because of the anisotropy of the spontaneous-polarized LiNbO_(3)substrate,the photocurrent of the device achieved a dichroic ratio of 7.42,comparing favorably to most MoS_(2)-based *** work demonstrates the integration potential between ferroelectric LiNbO_(3)and 2-dimensional materials for high-performance photodetection.

Magnetic Fields Reduce Apoptosis by Suppressing Phase Separation of Tau-441

The biological effects of magnetic fields(MFs)have been a controversial ***,in recent years,there has been increasing evidence that MFs do affect biological ***,the physical mechanism remains ***,we show that MFs(16 T)reduce apoptosis in cell lines by inhibiting liquid–liquid phase separation(LLPS)of Tau-441,suggesting that the MF effect on LLPS may be one of the mechanisms for understanding the“mysterious”magnetobiological *** LLPS of Tau-441 occurred in the cytoplasm after induction with *** phase-separated droplets of Tau-441 recruited hexokinase(HK),resulting in a decrease in the amount of free HK in the *** cells,HK and Bax compete to bind to the voltage-dependent anion channel(VDAC I)on the mitochondrial membrane.A decrease in the number of free HK molecules increased the chance of Bax binding to VDAC I,leading to increased Bax-mediated *** the presence of a static MF,LLPS was marked inhibited and HK recruitment was reduced,resulting in an increased probability of HK binding to VDAC I and a decreased probability of Bax binding to VDAC I,thus reducing Bax-mediated *** findings revealed a new physical mechanism for understanding magnetobiological effects from the perspective of *** addition,these results show the potential applications of physical environments,such as MFs in this study,in the treatment of LLPS-related diseases.

Thermal barrier coatings(TBCs) applied in aeroengines tend to be attacked by molten calcia-magnesiaalumino-silicate(CMAS) at high operating ***-stabilized zirconia(YSZ) coatings with quasicolumnar microstructure were fabricated by plasma spray physical vapor deposition(PS-PVD) *** chemic al changes,micros tructural transform ation,mechanical properties and degradation mechanisms of the CM AS-interacted TBCs in the thermal cycling tests were *** YSZ grains were dissolved in the CMAS melts,and then the ZrO_(2) grains were reprecipitated with spherical shape,accompanying with phase transformation from tetragonal(t) to monoclinic(m).The thermal cycling tests reveal that the YSZ coating fails at the early stage due to the attack of *** fractures in intracolumns lead to partial spallation of the *** failure of the coating occurs at the interfaces between thermally grown oxides(TGO) layer and YSZ topcoat;especially,the hardness and Young's modulus of the YSZ coatings increase intensively,as the coatings were infiltrated by the CMAS for a long time.

Principal Model Analysis Based on Bagging PLS and PCA and Its Application in Financial Statement Fraud

Motivated by the Bagging Partial Least Squares(Bagging PLS)and Principal Component Analysis(PCA)algorithms,a novel approach known as Principal Model Analysis(PMA)method is introduced in this *** the proposed PMA algorithm,the PCA and the Bagging PLS are *** this method,multiple PLS models are trained on sub-training sets,derived from the training set using the random sampling with replacement *** regression coefficients of all the sub-PLS models are fused in a joint regression coefficient *** final projection direction is then estimated by performing the PCA on the joint regression coefficient ***,the proposed PMA method is compared with other traditional dimension reduction methods,such as PLS,Bagging PLS,Linear discriminant analysis(LDA)and *** results on six public datasets demonstrate that our proposed method consistently outperforms other approaches in terms of classification performance and exhibits greater ***,it is employed in the application of financial statement fraud *** and other five algorithms are utilized to financial statement fraud which concerned by the academic community,and the results indicate that the classification of PMA surpassed that of the other methods.

Method for rapid warning and activity concentration estimates in online waterγ-spectrometry systems

Onlineγ-spectrometry systems for inland waters,most of which extract samples in situ and in real time,are able to produce reliable activity concentration measurements for waterborne radionuclides only when they are distributed relatively uniformly and enter into a steady-state diffusion regime in the measurement *** protect residents’health and ensure the safety of the living environment,better timeliness is required for this measurement *** address this issue,this study established a mathematical model of the online waterγ-spectrometry system so that rapid warning and activity estimates can be obtained for water under non-steady-state(NSS)*** addition,the detection efficiency of the detector for radionuclides during the NSS diffusion process was determined by applying the computational fluid dynamics technique in conjunction with Monte Carlo *** this basis,a method was developed that allowed the online waterγ-spectrometry system to provide rapid warning and activity concentration estimates for radionuclides in *** analysis of the NSS-mode measurements of^(40)K radioactive solutions with different activity concentrations determined the optimum warning threshold and measurement time for producing accurate activity concentration estimates for *** experimental results show that the proposed NSS measurement method is able to give warning and yield accurate activity concentration estimates for radionuclides 55.42 and 69.42 min after the entry of a 10 Bq/L^(40)K radioactive solution into the measurement chamber,*** times are much shorter than the 90 min required by the conventional measurement ***,the NSS measurement method allows the measurement system to give rapid(within approximately 15 min)warning when the activity concentrations of some radionuclides reach their respective limits stipulated in the Guidelines for Drinking-water Quality of the WHO,suggesting that this method con

A mixed Nash equilibrium solution for visibility-based pursuit-evasion game with multiple obstacles

This study primarily investigates a visibility-based pursuitevasion game with multiple obstacles. The pursuer aims to maintain surveillance over the evader as long as possible, while the evader's objective is to escape the pursuer's surveillance as quickly as possible. We use the explicit strategy method to analyze the winning conditions and optimal strategy of the player in the case of corner obstacles and propose a 'Present-Future-Past'(PFP) loop structure to extend the strategy to the case of multiple obstacles.

Intelligent reflecting surfaces-assisted millimeter wave communication:Channel estimation based on deep learning

In response to the challenge posed by the complexity of the system and the difficulty in obtaining accurate channel state information(CSI)for millimeter wave communication assisted by intelligent reflecting surfaces(IRS),we propose a deep learning-based channel estimation *** proposed scheme employs a hybrid active/passive IRS architecture,wherein the least square(LS)algorithm is initially utilized to acquire the channel estimate from the active ***,this estimation is interpolated to obtain a preliminary channel estimation and ultimately refined into an accurate estimate of the channel using the channel super-resolution convolutional neural network(Chan-SRCNN)deep learning *** simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme surpasses LS,orthogonal matching pursuit(OMP),synchronous OMP(SOMP),and deep neural network(DNN)channel estimation algorithms in terms of normalized mean squared error(NMSE)performance,thereby validating the feasibility of the proposed approach.
