Effects of Different Surfactant Administrations on Cerebral Autoregulation in Preterm Infants with Respiratory Distress Syndrome

To treat respiratory distress syndrome,surfactant is currently delivered via less invasive surfactant administration（liSA） or INtubation SURfactant Extubation（INSURE）.The aim of this study was to compare the effect of the two delivery methods of surfactant on cerebral *** infrared spectroscopy monitoring was carried out to detect cerebral oxygen saturation（Sc O2）,and the mean arterial blood pressure（MABP） was simultaneously *** 44 preterm infants included,the surfactant was administrated to 22 via liSA and 22 via *** clinical characteristics,treatments and outcomes of the infants showed no significant differences between the two *** correlation coefficient of Sc O2 and MABP（rSc O2-MABP） 5 min before administration was similar in the two *** surfactant administration,rSc O2-MABP increased in both groups（0.44±0.10 to 0.54±0.12 in liSA,0.45±0.11 to 0.69±0.09 in INSURE）.In the first and second 5 min after instillation,rSc O2-MABP was not significantly different from baseline in the liSA group,but increased in the first 5 min after instillation（0.59±0.13,P=0.000 compared with the baseline in the same group） and recovered in the second 5 min after instillation（0.48±0.10,P=0.321） in the INSURE *** were significant differences in the change rates of rSc O2-MABP between the two groups during and after surfactant *** results suggest that cerebral autoregulation may be affected transiently by surfactant *** effect duration of liSA is shorter than that of INSURE（〈5 min in liSA vs.5–10 min in INSURE）.

Training Generative Adversarial Networks with Adaptive Composite Gradient

The wide applications of Generative adversarial networks benefit from the successful training methods,guaranteeing that an object function converges to the local ***,designing an efficient and competitive training method is still a challenging task due to the cyclic behaviors of some gradient-based ways and the expensive computational cost of acquiring the Hessian *** address this problem,we proposed the Adaptive Composite Gradients(ACG)method,linearly convergent in bilinear games under suitable *** analysis and toy-function experiments both suggest that our approach alleviates the cyclic behaviors and converges faster than recently proposed SOTA *** convergence speed of the ACG is improved by 33%than other *** ACG method is a novel Semi-Gradient-Free algorithm that can reduce the computational cost of gradient and Hessian by utilizing the predictive information in future *** mixture of Gaussians experiments and real-world digital image generative experiments show that our ACG method outperforms several existing technologies,illustrating the superiority and efficacy of our method.

Peak Shaving Strategy of Concentrating Solar Power Generation Based on Multi-Time-Scale and Considering Demand Response

According to the multi-time-scale characteristics of power generation and demand-side response(DR)resources,as well as the improvement of prediction accuracy along with the approaching operating point,a rolling peak shaving optimization model consisting of three different time scales has been *** proposed peak shaving optimization model considers not only the generation resources of two different response speeds but also the two different DR resources and determines each unit combination,generation power,and demand response strategy on different time scales so as to participate in the peaking of the power system by taking full advantage of the fast response characteristics of the concentrating solar power(CSP).At the same time,in order to improve the accuracy of the scheduling results,the combination of the day-ahead peak shaving phase with scenario-based stochastic programming can further reduce the influence of wind power prediction errors on scheduling *** testing results have shown that by optimizing the allocation of scheduling resources in each phase,it can effectively reduce the number of starts and stops of thermal power units and improve the economic efficiency of system *** spinning reserve capacity is reduced,and the effectiveness of the peak shaving strategy is verified.

Overcoming the Na-ion conductivity bottleneck for the cost-competitive chloride solid electrolytes

Chloride solid electrolytes possess multiple advantages for the construction of safe,energy-dense allsolid-state sodium batteries,but presently the chlorides with sufficiently high cost-competitiveness for commercialization almost all exhibit low Na-ion conductivities of around 10^(-5)S cm^(-1)or ***,we report a chloride solid electrolyte,Na_(2.7)ZFCl_(5.3)O_(0.7),which reaches a Na-ion conductivity of 2.29×10^(-4)S cm^(-1)at 25℃without involving overly expensive raw materials such as rare-earth chlorides or Na_(2)*** addition to the efficient ion transport,Na_(2.7)ZrCl_(5.3)O_(0.7)also shows an excellent deformability surpassing that of the widely studied Na_(3)PS_(4),Na_(3)SbS_(4),and Na_(2)ZrCl_(6)solid *** combination of these advantages allows the all-solid-state cell based on Na_(2.7)ZrCl_(5.3)O_(0.7)and NaCrO_(2)to realize stable room-temperature cycling at a much higher specific current than those based on other non-viscoelastic chloride solid electrolytes in literature(120 mA g^(-1)vs.12-55 mA g^(-1));after 100 cycles at such a high rate,the Na_(2.7)ZFCl_(5.3)O_(0.7)-based cell can still deliver a discharge capacity of 80 mAh g^(-1)at25℃.

Identifying malicious traffic under concept drift based on intraclass consistency enhanced variational autoencoder

Accurate identification of malicious traffic is crucial for implementing effective defense countermeasures and has led to extensive research efforts. However, the continuously evolving techniques employed by adversaries have introduced the issues of concept drift, which significantly affects the performance of existing methods. To tackle this challenge, some researchers have focused on improving the separability of malicious traffic representation and designing drift detectors to reduce the number of false ***, these methods often overlook the importance of enhancing the generalization and intraclass consistency in the representation. Additionally, the detectors are not sufficiently sensitive to the variations among different malicious traffic classes, which results in poor performance and limited robustness. In this paper, we propose intraclass consistency enhanced variational autoencoder with Class-Perception detector(ICE-CP) to identify malicious traffic under concept drift. It comprises two key modules during training:intraclass consistency enhanced(ICE) representation learning and Class-Perception(CP) detector construction. In the first module, we employ a variational autoencoder(VAE) in conjunction with Kullback-Leibler(KL)-divergence and cross-entropy loss to model the distribution of each input malicious traffic flow. This approach simultaneously enhances the generalization, interclass consistency, and intraclass differences in the learned representation. Consequently, we obtain a compact representation and a trained classifier for nondrifting malicious traffic. In the second module, we design the CP detector, which generates a centroid and threshold for each malicious traffic class separately based on the learned representation, depicting the boundaries between drifting and non-drifting malicious traffic. To investigate the circuit-level neural mechanisms of behavior, simultaneous imaging of neuronal activity in multiple cortical and subcortical regions is highly desired. Miniature head-mounted microscopes offer the capability of calcium imaging in freely behaving animals. However, implanting multiple microscopes on a mouse brain remains challenging due to space constraints and the cumbersome weight of the ***, we present TINIscope, a Tightly Integrated Neuronal Imaging microscope optimized for electronic and opto-mechanical design. With its compact and lightweight design of 0.43 g, TINIscope enables unprecedented simultaneous imaging of behavior-relevant activity in up to four brain regions in ***-of-concept experiments with TINIscope recorded over 1000 neurons in four hippocampal subregions and revealed concurrent activity patterns spanning across these regions. Moreover, we explored potential multi-modal experimental designs by integrating additional modules for optogenetics, electrical stimulation or local field potential recordings. Overall, TINIscope represents a timely and indispensable tool for studying the brain-wide interregional coordination that underlies unrestrained behaviors.

Acupuncture improves the live birth of patients with repeated implantation failure: a retrospective cohort study

OBJECTIVE: To explore the therapeutic efficacy of acupuncture treatment on repeated implantation failure(RIF) patients with cryo-thawed embryo transfer(CET).METHODS: In a retrospective cohort study, all eligible women undergoing RIF were recruited in our center from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2021. The patients were grouped by whether an acceptance of acupuncture treatment before CET, including the acupuncture group(Acu-group, 55 cycles) and control group(Con-group,244 cycles). Data were analyzed by using binary logistic regression to explore the relationship of acupuncture treatment with pregnancy ***: The Acu-group had higher live-birth rate(LBR)[54.5% vs 41.0%, respectively; odds ratio(OR) = 1.105,95% confidence interval(CI)(1.029, 1.187), P = 0.006]and ongoing pregnancy rate(OPR) [56.4% vs 43.0%,respectively; OR = 1.100, 95% CI(1.025, 1.181), P =0.008] than the Con-group. There were no significant between-group differences in the rates of implantation [OR = 1.070, 95% CI(0.996, 1.149), P = 0.064], clinical pregnancy [OR = 1.065, 95% CI(0.997, 1.138), P =0.061], biochemical pregnancy [OR = 1.002, 95% CI(0.903, 1.112), P = 0.967], or miscarriage [OR = 0.778,95% CI(0.551, 1.099), P = 0.155]. Perinatal outcomes did not differ significantly between the two ***: Acupuncture treatment could improve the LBR and OPR in RIF patients with CET cycles,suggesting a potential adjuvant therapy of acupuncture to improve the pregnancy outcomes in RIF patients.

SO_(2)-Insertion induced enantioselective oxysulfonylation to access β-chiral sulfones with quaternary carbon stereocenters

β-Chiral sulfones are structural motifs widely found in natural products and bioactive molecules, while also serving as important intermediates for the synthesis of valuable chiral scaffolds. In contrast to the rapid growth of sulfur dioxide insertion chemistry over the last decade, enantioselective catalytic variants for accessing β-chiral sulfones, especially those bearing a quaternary carbon stereocenter, remain rare. Herein, we report an enantioselective copper/bisoxazoline catalyzed oxysulfonylation of alkenes to yield isoxazolinyl-containing β-chiral sulfones bearing quaternary carbon stereocenters with moderate to excellent yields and up to 96:4 er. The advantage and irreplaceability of this sulfur dioxide insertion catalytic system have been demonstrated by achieving transformations clearly unavailable with the previously reported sulfonyl chloride system. Additionally,the recoverability of the new-developed bisoxazoline ligand L9 and its reusability without any erosion of the catalytic activity and enantioselectivity further demonstrate the usefulness of the protocol.

FPSblo:A Blockchain Network Transmission Model Utilizing Farthest Point Sampling

Peer-to-peer(P2P)overlay networks provide message transmission capabilities for blockchain *** data transmission efficiency in P2P networks can greatly enhance the performance of blockchain ***,traditional blockchain P2P networks face a common challenge where there is often a mismatch between the upper-layer traffic requirements and the underlying physical network *** mismatch results in redundant data transmission and inefficient routing,severely constraining the scalability of blockchain *** address these pressing issues,we propose FPSblo,an efficient transmission method for blockchain *** inspiration for FPSblo stems from the Farthest Point Sampling(FPS)algorithm,a well-established technique widely utilized in point cloud image *** this work,we analogize blockchain nodes to points in a point cloud image and select a representative set of nodes to prioritize message forwarding so that messages reach the network edge quickly and are evenly ***,we compare our model with the Kadcast transmission model,which is a classic improvement model for blockchain P2P transmission networks,the experimental findings show that the FPSblo model reduces 34.8%of transmission redundancy and reduces the overload rate by 37.6%.By conducting experimental analysis,the FPS-BT model enhances the transmission capabilities of the P2P network in blockchain.
