The photocatalytic oxidative coupling of thiols is one of the most popular methods to synthesize the *** and its derivatives(TPAs)are promising for the above reaction,but suffer from the easy polymerization and difficult *** overcome these obstacles while controlling the photogenerated electrons transfer directly to target substrates,herein,we constructed one TPA-based metal-organic framework(MOF),(Me_(2)NH_(2))[Sr(TCBPA)]·DMA·3H_(2)O(1),by direct self-assembly of tris(4′-carboxybiphenyl)amine(H_(3)TCBPA)and photoredox inert strontium ion(Sr^(2+)).DFT calculations revealed that the valence band maximum(VBM)and the conduction band minimum(CBM)are mainly located on TCBPA^(3-),successfully inhibiting the undesirable electron migration to metal *** results indicated that 1 displays superior performance than homogeneous H_(3)TCBPA,which may result from the abundant π…π and C—H…π interactions between the well-arranged TCBPA^(3-)and the build-in electric field between the anionic framework and the Me_(2)NH^(2+).This work highlights that immobilizing TPAs into MOFs is one promising approach to designing heterogeneous photocatalysts for the synthesis of disulfides by oxidative coupling of thiols.

Obesity is associated with gut dysbiosis and metabolic *** tea extract(JSTE)reduced fat accumulation and body weight in obese ***,the effects and mechanism of JSTE in preventing obesity were ***,we used different doses of JSTE(75,150 and 300 mg/(kg·day))to evaluate the effect on high-fat diet(HFD)-induced rats under 8 weeks of ***,our results showed that JSTE could significantly reduce body weight gain,blood lipid levels and fat accumulation,improve fatty damage in liver tissue(Pjunction proteins(P<0.05),relieved metabolic endotoxemia(P<0.05)and chronic low-grade inflammation in HFD *** of fecal samples showed that JSTE could effectively reverse the microbial diversity and the ratio of Firmicutes to Bacteroidetes to normal levels in HFD-fed *** and Erysipelotrichaceae,which are positively related to obesity,were decreased by JSTE intervention(P<0.05).while Bifidobacteriaceae,Bacteroidaceae,Akkermansia,and Clostridium,which are negatively related to obesity,were ***,these results suggested that JSTE might effectively prevent obesity by modulating gut microbiota dysbiosis,intestinal barrier dysfunction,metabolic endotoxemia and chronic low-grade infl ammation in HFD-induced rats.

The photocatalytic conversion of biomass into high-value chemicals,coupled with simultaneous hydrogen(H_(2))evolution,leveraging the electrons and holes generated by solar energy,holds great promise for addressing energy *** this study,we constructed a dual functional photocatalytic system formed by NiS loaded on Ni doped two-dimensional(2D)CdS nanosheet(NiS/Ni-CdSNS)heterostructure for visible-light-driven H_(2)evolution and ethanol oxidation to ***,the 2D NiS/NiCdSNS exhibited significant activity and selectivity in both photocatalytic H_(2)evolution and ethanol oxidation,achieving yields of 7.98 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1)for H_(2)and 7.33 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1)for *** heterogeneous interface of the composite facilitated efficient charge separation,while NiS provided abundant sites for proton reduction,thereby promoting the overall dual-functional photocatalytic *** functional theory calculations further reveal that both Ni doping and NiS loading can reduce the reaction energy barrier of ethanol oxidation of free radicals,and NiS/Ni-CdSNS composite materials exhibit stronger ethanol C-H activation ability to generate key intermediate·CH(OH)CH_(3)on the *** work serves as a valuable guide for the rational design of efficient dual functional photocatalytic systems that combine H_(2)evolution with the selective conversion of organic compounds into high-value chemicals.

Galloping cheetahs,climbing mountain goats,and load hauling horses all show desirable locomotion capability,which motivates the development of quadruped *** various quadruped robots,hydraulically driven quadruped robots show great potential in unstructured environments due to their discrete landing positions and large *** the most critical movement unit of a quadruped robot,the limb leg unit(Llu)directly affects movement speed and reliability,and requires a compact and lightweight *** by the dexterous skeleton–muscle systems of cheetahs and humans,this paper proposes a highly integrated bionic actuator system for a better dynamic performance of an *** propose that a cylinder barrel with multiple element interfaces and internal smooth channels is realized using metal additive manufacturing,and hybrid lattice structures are introduced into the lightweight design of the piston *** addition,additive manufacturing and topology optimization are incorporated to reduce the redundant material of the structural parts of the *** mechanical properties of the actuator system are verified by numerical simulation and experiments,and the power density of the actuators is far greater than that of cheetah *** mass of the optimized Llu is reduced by 24.5%,and the optimized Llu shows better response time performance when given a step signal,and presents a good trajectory tracking ability with the increase in motion frequency.

Greenhouse gases(GHGs)emitted or absorbed by lakes are an important component of the global carbon ***,few studies have focused on the GHG dynamics of eutrophic saline lakes,thus preventing a comprehensive understanding of the carbon ***,we conducted four sampling analyses using a floating chamber in Daihai Lake,a eutrophication saline lake in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,China,to explore its carbon dioxide(CO_(2))and methane(CH_(4))*** mean CO_(2)emission flux(FCO_(2))and CH_(4)emission flux(FCH_(4))were 17.54±14.54 mmol/m^(2)/day and 0.50±0.50 mmol/m^(2)/day,*** results indicated that Daihai Lake was a source of CO_(2)and CH_(4),and GHG emissions exhibited temporal *** mean CO_(2)partial pressure(p CO_(2))and CH_(4)partial pressure(p CH_(4))were 561.35±109.59μatm and 17.02±13.45μatm,which were supersaturated relative to the *** regression and correlation analysis showed that the main influencing factors of p CO_(2)were wind speed,dissolved oxygen(DO),total nitrogen(TN)and Chlorophyll a(Chl.a),whereas the main influencing factors of p CH_(4)were water temperature(WT),Chl.a,nitrate nitrogen(NO_(3)^(-)-N),TN,dissolved organic carbon(DOC)and water *** regulated carbon mineralization and organic matter decomposition,and it was an important influencing factor of p CO_(2)and p CH_(4).Additionally,the trophic level index(TLI)significantly increased p CH_(4).Our study elucidated that salinity and eutrophication play an important role in the dynamic changes of GHG ***,research on eutrophic saline lakes needs to be strengthened.

2,5-Furandicarboxylic acid(FDCA)is a promising biomass-derived polymeric monomer that serves as an attractive alternative to terephthalic acid derived from fossil ***,the green and efficient production of FDCA through the oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF)and its derivatives is still rudimentary under base-free *** this work,oxygen-vacancy-rich Mn Oxwas prepared and displayed a strong adsorption and anchoring ability to Ru species that mainly exposed the(210)plane of RuO_(2),bringing about highly dispersed and active interfacial Ru-O-Mn *** results and density functional theory calculations confirm that these above features greatly facilitate the adsorption/activation of oxygen and the dehydrogenation-oxidation of HMF/5-methoxymethylfurfural(MMF),which enables an efficient FDCA production under base-free and mild ***,a desirable FDCA yield of 86.56%was still obtained from concentrated HMF(10 wt%)under base-free conditions over oxygen-vacancy-rich Mn Oxsupported Ru Ox(1.0 MPaO_(2),120℃,6 h).This work delineates a facile catalyst preparation strategy for HMF/MMF oxidation,and might open a new avenue for the green synthesis of FDCA under base-free conditions.

Recently,metal selenides have obtained widespread attention as electrode materials for alkali(Li^(+)/Na^(+)/K^(+))batteries due to their promising theoretical capacity and ***,metal selenides,similar to metal oxides and sulfides,also suffer from severe volume explosion during repeated charge/discharge processes,which results in the structure collapse and the following pulverization of electrode ***,it leads to poor cycle stability and influencing their further *** order to solve these issues,some special strategies,including elemental doping,coupling with carbon materials,synthesis of the bimetal selenides with heterostructure,etc.,have been gradually applied to design novel electrode materials with outstanding electrochemical ***,the recent research progress on metal selenides as anodes for alkali ion batteries is summarized,including the regulation of crystal structure,synthesis strategies,modification methods,and electrochemical mechanisms and ***,the challenges of metal selenides and the perspective for future electrode material design are *** is hoped to pave a way for the development of metal selenide electrode materials for the potential applications for alkali metal ion(Li^(+)/Na^(+)/K^(+))batteries.

An overview of the current research status and control methods of MnS in non-quenched and tempered steel was *** a low-melting plastic inclusion,the morphology and distribution of MnS were influenced by various production ***,control of MnS is a systematic problem that must be integrated into the entire production *** on the production process,the factors affecting the morphology and distribution of MnS in steel were *** effects of oxygen activity,manganese,sulfur,and some alloys on MnS inclusion precipitation were summarized,mainly including MnS modification treatment and oxygen-sulfide composite precipitation *** is believed that MnS precipitates during the solidification process of steel,and controlling the solidification cooling rate could effectively regulate the size and morphology of MnS,avoiding the precipitation of ***,by changing the deformation rate,deformation amount,deformation temperature during the hot deformation process,and heating time and temperature during heat treatment,the distribution and morphology of MnS could be *** the fine control of the above process parameters,the number of II-MnS in steel could be effectively reduced,and their morphology could be improved,thereby enhancing the performance of non-quenched and tempered steel and promoting its wider ***,applying laboratory research results to industrial production is an important direction for future research efforts in this field.
